Ezequiel 29
1 No décimo ano, no décimo mês, no décimo segundo dia do mês, a palavra de Javé veio a mim, dizendo:
In the tenth year, in the tenth [month], in the twelfth of the month, hath a word of Jehovah been unto me, saying,
2 “Filho do homem, põe teu rosto contra o Faraó, rei do Egito, e profetiza contra ele e contra todo o Egito”.
'Son of man, set thy face against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and prophesy concerning him, and concerning Egypt — all of it.
3 Fala e diz: “O Senhor Javé diz: “Eis que estou contra ti, faraó rei do Egito”, o grande monstro que está no meio de seus rios, que disse: 'Meu rio é meu', e eu o fiz por mim mesmo”.
Speak, and thou hast said: Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Lo, I [am] against thee, Pharaoh king of Egypt! The great dragon that is crouching in the midst of his floods, Who hath said, My flood [is] my own, And I — I have made it [for] myself.
4 Vou colocar ganchos em suas mandíbulas, e farei com que os peixes de seus rios fiquem grudados em suas escamas. Eu o tirarei do meio de seus rios, com todos os peixes de seus rios que se agarram a suas escamas.
And I have put hooks in thy jaws, And I have caused the fish of thy floods to cleave to thy scales, And I have caused thee to come up from the midst of thy floods, And every fish of thy floods to thy scales doth cleave.
5 I vai expulsá-lo para o deserto, você e todos os peixes de seus rios. Você vai cair em campo aberto. Você não será reunido ou reunido. Eu vos dei de comer aos animais da terra e para as aves do céu.
And I have left thee in the wilderness, Thou and every fish of thy floods, On the face of the field thou dost fall, Thou art not gathered nor assembled, To the beast of the earth and to the fowl of the heavens I have given thee for food.
6 “““Todos os habitantes do Egito saberão que eu sou Yahweh, porque eles têm sido um pessoal de cana para a casa de Israel.
And known have all inhabitants of Egypt That I [am] Jehovah, Because of their being a staff of reed to the house of Israel.
7 Quando eles se apoderaram de você pela mão, você quebrou e rasgou todos os seus ombros. Quando eles se apoiaram em você, você quebrou e paralisou todas as coxas deles”.
In their taking hold of thee by thy hand, — thou art crushed, And hast rent to them all the shoulder, And in their leaning on thee thou art broken, And hast caused all their thighs to stand.
8 “'Portanto, o Senhor Javé diz: “Eis que trarei uma espada sobre vós e vos cortarei o homem e o animal.
Therefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah: Lo, I am bringing in against thee a sword, And have cut off from thee man and beast.
9 A terra do Egito será uma desolação e um desperdício. Então eles saberão que eu sou Yahweh. Porque ele disse: “O rio é meu, e eu consegui”,
And the land of Egypt hath been for a desolation and a waste, And they have known that I [am] Jehovah. Because he said: The flood [is] mine, and I made [it].
10 portanto, eis que estou contra você e contra seus rios. Farei da terra do Egito um total desperdício e desolação, desde a torre de Seveneh até a fronteira da Etiópia.
Therefore, lo, I [am] against thee, and against thy floods, And have given the land of Egypt for wastes, A waste, a desolation, from Migdol to Syene, And unto the border of Cush.
11 Nenhum pé do homem passará por ela, nem nenhum pé de animal passará por ela. Não será habitada por quarenta anos.
Not pass over into it doth a foot of man, Yea, the foot of beast doth not pass into it, Nor is it inhabited forty years.
12 Farei da terra do Egito uma desolação no meio dos países que estão desolados. Suas cidades entre as cidades assoladas serão uma desolação por quarenta anos. Espalharei os egípcios entre as nações, e os dispersarei pelos países”.
And I have made the land of Egypt a desolation, In the midst of desolate lands, And its cities, in the midst of waste cities, Are a desolation forty years, And I have scattered the Egyptians among nations, And I have dispersed them through lands.
13 “'For the Lord Yahweh says: “No final de quarenta anos eu reunirei os egípcios dos povos onde eles estavam espalhados.
But thus said the Lord Jehovah: At the end of forty years I gather the Egyptians Out of the peoples whither they have been scattered,
14 Vou reverter o cativeiro do Egito, e os farei voltar à terra de Pathros, à terra de seu nascimento”. Lá eles serão um reino humilde.
And I have turned back [to] the captivity of Egypt, And I have brought them back [To] the land of Pathros, to the land of their birth, And they have been there a low kingdom.
15 Será o mais humilde dos reinos. Não se erguerá mais acima das nações. Diminui-los-ei para que não governem mais sobre as nações.
Of the kingdoms it is lowest, And it lifteth not up itself any more above the nations, And I have made them few, So as not to rule among nations.
16 Não será mais a confiança da casa de Israel, trazendo a iniqüidade à memória, quando se voltarem para cuidar deles. Então saberão que eu sou o Senhor Yahweh””.
And it is no more to the house of Israel for a confidence, Bringing iniquity to remembrance, By their turning after them, And they have known that I [am] the Lord Jehovah.'
17 No vigésimo sétimo ano, no primeiro mês, no primeiro dia do mês, a palavra de Javé veio a mim, dizendo:
And it cometh to pass, in the twenty and seventh year, in the first [month], in the first of the month, hath a word of Jehovah been unto me, saying:
18 “Filho do homem, Nabucodonosor rei da Babilônia fez com que seu exército prestasse um grande serviço contra Tiro. Cada cabeça era careca, e cada ombro era usado; contudo, ele não tinha salário, nem seu exército, de Tiro, pelo serviço que havia prestado contra ele.
'Son of man, Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, Hath caused his force to serve a great service against Tyre, Every head [is] bald — every shoulder peeled, And reward he had none, nor his force, out of Tyre, For the service that he served against it.
19 Portanto, o Senhor Javé diz: “Eis que eu darei a terra do Egito a Nabucodonosor, rei da Babilônia”. Ele carregará a multidão dela, a saqueará e a tomará presa”. Esse será o salário de seu exército”.
Therefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah, Lo, I am giving to Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon the land of Egypt, And he hath taken away its store, And hath taken its spoil, and taken its prey, And it hath been a reward to his force.
20 Eu lhe dei a terra do Egito como seu pagamento pelo qual ele serviu, porque eles trabalharam para mim”, diz o Senhor Yahweh.
His wage for which he laboured I have given to him, The land of Egypt — in that they wrought for Me, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.
21 “Naquele dia farei brotar uma buzina para a casa de Israel, e abrirei sua boca entre eles. Então eles saberão que eu sou Yahweh”.
In that day I cause to shoot up a horn to the house of Israel, And to thee I give an opening of the mouth in their midst, And they have known that I [am] Jehovah!'
