Ezequiel 27
1 A palavra de Yahweh veio novamente a mim, dizendo:
And the word of Yahweh came unto me, saying:
2 “Tu, filho do homem, faz uma lamentação sobre Tiro;
Thou, therefore, son of man, Take up over Tyre a dirge;
3 e diz a Tiro: 'Tu que habitas na entrada do mar, que és o mercador dos povos de muitas ilhas, diz o Senhor Yahweh: “Você, Tyre, disse, “Sou perfeito em beleza”.
And thou shalt say unto Tyre, O thou that dwellest by the entrances of the sea, Thou merchant of the peoples unto many shores, — Thus, saith My Lord, Yahweh, O Tyre, Thou saidst, I, am the perfection of beauty!
4 Suas fronteiras estão no coração dos mares. Seus construtores aperfeiçoaram sua beleza.
In the heart of the seas, were thy bounds, —Thy builders perfected thy beauty:
5 Eles fizeram todas as suas tábuas de ciprestes de Senir. Eles pegaram um cedro do Líbano para fazer um mastro para você.
With fir-trees from Senir, but they for thee all the two-decked vessels, — Cedar from Lebanon, fetched they, to make masts for thee:
6 Eles fizeram seus remos dos carvalhos de Bashan. Eles fizeram suas bancadas de marfim incrustadas em madeira de cipreste proveniente das ilhas de Kittim.
With oaks from Bashan, made they thine oars, — Thy benches, made they of ivory, inlaid with boxwood, From the shores of the West:
7 Sua vela era de linho fino com trabalho bordado do Egito, que poderia ser para você um banner. Azul e roxo das ilhas de Elishah era o seu toldo.
Of fine linen with embroidered work from Egypt, was thy sail, To serve thee for ensign, — Blue and purple from the shores of Aeolis became thine awning:
8 Os habitantes de Sidon e Arvad eram seus remadores. Seus sábios, Tyre, estavam em você. Eles eram seus pilotos.
the inhabitants of Zidon and Arvad, Became rowers for thee, — Thine own skilled men O Tyre, were within thee, They were thy sailors:
9 Os homens velhos de Gebal e seus homens sábios foram seus reparadores de costuras de navios em você. Todos os navios do mar com seus marinheiros estavam em você para negociar em sua mercadoria.
the elders of Byblus and the skilled men thereof, were within thee, Thy calkers, — All the ships of the sea and their mariners, were within thee, To carry on thy traffic,
10 “““Pérsia, Lud e Put estavam em seu exército, seus homens de guerra. Eles penduraram o escudo e o capacete em você. Eles mostraram sua beleza.
They of Persia and Lud and Phut were in thine army, Thy men of war, — Shield and helmet, hung they up within thee, They set forth thy splendour:
11 Os homens de Arvad com seu exército estavam em seus muros por toda parte, e homens corajosos estavam em suas torres. Eles penduraram seus escudos em suas paredes por toda parte. Eles aperfeiçoaram sua beleza.
The sons of Arvad: with thine army, were upon thy walls round about, And valorous in thy towers, — Their shields, hung they up on thy walls round about, They perfected thy beauty:
12 “““Tarshish foi seu comerciante por causa da multidão de todos os tipos de riquezas. Eles trocavam por suas mercadorias com prata, ferro, estanho e chumbo.
Tarshish was a trader of thine. For the abundance of all wealth, — With silver iron. tin and lead, Took they part in thy traffic:
13 “““Javan, Tubal, e Meshech foram seus comerciantes. Eles negociavam as pessoas de homens e embarcações de bronze por sua mercadoria.
Javan. Tubal and Meshech, They were merchants of thine, — With the persons of men and vessels of bronze, Shared they in thy barter:
14 “““Eles da casa de Togarmah trocaram por suas mercadorias com cavalos, cavalos de guerra e mulas.
Some of the house of Togarmah, with horses and horsemen and mules, Took part in thy traffic:
15 “““Os homens da Dedan negociaram com você. Muitas ilhas eram o mercado de sua mão. Eles trouxeram-lhe chifres de marfim e ébano em troca.
the sons of Dedan were merchants of thine, Many, isles, took the merchandise of thy hand, —Horns of ivory and ebony, gave they back to thee in exchange:
16 “““A Síria foi seu comerciante por causa da multidão de suas obras. Eles trocavam por seus produtos com esmeraldas, roxo, bordados, linho fino, coral e rubis.
Syria, was a trader of thine For the abundance of thy manufactures, - With carbuncle and purple and embroidery and fine linen and coral and rubies, Took they part in thy traffic:
17 “““Judah e a terra de Israel eram seus comerciantes. Eles comercializavam trigo de Minnith, confeitos, mel, óleo e bálsamo para sua mercadoria.
Judah and the land of Israel, They, were merchants of thine, — With the wheat of Minnith and the sweets of pannag and honey and oil and balsam, Shared they in thy barter:
18 “““Damasco foi seu comerciante pela multidão de suas obras em razão da multidão de todos os tipos de riquezas, com o vinho de Helbon, e a lã branca.
Damascus was a trader of thine For the multitude of thy manufactures For the multitude of all wealth, - With the wine of Helbon and white wool:
19 “““Vedan e Javan negociaram com fios para suas mercadorias; ferro forjado, cássia e calamus estavam entre suas mercadorias.
Wedan and Javan, from Uzal, Brought into thy traffic, — Steel, cassia and calamus, Were, in thy merchandise:
20 “““Dedan foi seu comerciante em preciosos cobertores de sela para montar.
Dedan was a merchant of thine, - With spreading wraps for riding:
21 “““A Arábia e todos os príncipes de Kedar eram seus comerciantes favoritos de cordeiros, carneiros e caprinos. Nesses, eles eram seus comerciantes.
Arabia and all the princes of Kedar, They, were traders at thy service, — With lambs and rams and he-goats, With these, were they traders of thine:
22 “““Os comerciantes de Sheba e Raamah eram seus comerciantes. Eles negociaram por suas mercadorias com o melhor de todas as especiarias, todas as pedras preciosas e ouro.
The merchants of Sheba and Raamah, They were merchants of thine, — With the chief of all spices and with every kind of precious stone and gold, Took they part in thy traffic:
23 “““Haran, Canneh, Eden, os comerciantes de Sheba, Asshur e Chilmad, foram seus comerciantes.
Haran and Canneh and Eden, the merchants of Sheba, —Asshur. Chilmad, Were merchants of thine:
24 Estes foram seus comerciantes em artigos de escolha, em envoltórios de trabalho azul e bordados, e em arcas de cedro de roupas ricas atadas com cordas, entre suas mercadorias.
Those were thy merchants for gorgeous garments, for wrappings of blue and embroidery, and for treasure-chests of variegated cloth, —for cords, twisted and strong, in thy market:
25 “““Os navios de Tarshish foram suas caravanas para suas mercadorias. Você foi reabastecido e se tornaram muito gloriosos no coração dos mares.
the ships of Tarshish, were thy masts Carrying on thy barter, So wast thou filled and becamest very glorious In the heart of the seas.
26 Seus remadores o trouxeram para grandes águas. O vento leste o quebrou no coração dos mares.
Into mighty waters, have they brought thee, the rowers—even thee, — the east wind, hath broken thee In the heart of the seas:
27 Suas riquezas, seus bens, suas mercadorias, seus marinheiros, seus pilotos, seus reparadores de costuras de navios, os revendedores em sua mercadoria, e todos os seus homens de guerra que estão em você, com toda a sua empresa que está entre vocês, cairá no coração dos mares no dia de sua ruína.
Thy wealth and thy wares, thy merchandise thy mariners, and thy sailors, -thy calkers and the barterers of thy merchandise and all thy men of war who are in thee and in all thy gathered host which is in thy midst Shall fall into the heart of the seas, In the day of thy fall.
28 Ao som do grito de seus pilotos, as terras de pasto vão tremer.
At the sound of the outcry of thy pilots, the coasts shall quake:
29 Todos que lidam com os remos, os marinheiros e todos os pilotos do mar, descerão de seus navios. Eles ficarão na terra,
Then shall come down from their ships all that handle the oar, mariners, all the sailors of the sea— Upon the land, shall they take up their station;
30 e fará com que sua voz seja ouvida sobre você, e vai chorar amargamente. Eles vão jogar pó na cabeça. Eles vão chafurdar nas cinzas.
And make loud [lament] over thee, with their voice, And make biter outcry, - And shall lift up dust on their heads, In ashes, shall roll themselves;
31 Eles se tornarão carecas para você, e se vestirem com pano de saco. Eles chorarão por você em amargura de alma, com um luto amargo.
And shall make bald for thee a baldness And gird them with sackcloth, — And shall weep for thee in bitterness of soul A bitter lamentation;
32 Em seus lamentos, eles aceitarão uma lamentação para você, e lamentar sobre você, dizendo, “Quem está lá como Tyre”, como ela que é levada ao silêncio no meio do mar...
And shall take up for thee in their Wailing: a dirge, And shall chant over thee, - Who is like Tyre? Like the Sent One in the midst of the sea?
33 Quando suas mercadorias vieram dos mares, você encheu muitas pessoas. Vocês enriqueceram os reis da terra com a multidão de suas riquezas e de suas mercadorias.
By the going forth of thy commodities out of the seas, Thou didst satisfy many peoples, By the multitude of thy wares and of thy merchandise, Thou didst enrich the kings of the earth.
34 No tempo em que você estava quebrado pelos mares, nas profundezas das águas, sua mercadoria e toda a sua empresa caíram dentro de você.
Now, thou art wrecked out of the seas In the depths of waters, — Thy merchandise and all thy gathered host In thy midst, have fallen.
35 Todos os habitantes das ilhas estão surpresos com você, e seus reis estão horrivelmente assustados. Eles estão com problemas na cara.
All the dwellers in the coastlands, Are astounded over thee, - And their kings have been made to shudder a shuddering, To be troubled in countenance.
36 Os mercadores entre os povos assobiam para você. Você chegou a um fim terrível, e você não será mais”'”.
The traders among the peoples, have hissed over thee: A terror, hast thou become, And, art not, Unto times age-abiding.
