Ezequiel 19
1 “Além disso, pegue uma lamentação para os príncipes de Israel,
And thou, sone of man, take weiling on the princes of Israel;
2 e diga, “O que era sua mãe? Uma leoa. Ela se deitou entre os leões, no meio dos leõezinhos, ela alimentava seus filhotes.
and thou schalt seie, Whi thi modir, a lionesse, lai among liouns? In the myddis of litle liouns sche nurschide hir whelpis,
3 She criou uma de suas crias. Ele se tornou um leão jovem. Ele aprendeu a capturar a presa. Ele devorava os homens.
and ledde out oon of hir litle liouns; he was maad a lioun, and he lernyde to take prei, and to ete men.
4 As nações também ouviram falar dele. Ele foi levado no poço deles; e eles o trouxeram com ganchos para a terra do Egito.
And hethene men herden of hym, and token hym not withouten her woundis; and thei brouyten hym in chaynes in to the lond of Egipt.
5 “'Agora, quando ela viu que tinha esperado, e sua esperança foi perdida, então ela pegou outra de suas crias, e fez dele um leão jovem.
Which modir whanne sche hadde seyn, that sche was sijk, and the abiding of hym perischide, took oon of her litle liouns, and made hym a lioun.
6 Ele subiu e desceu entre os leões. Ele se tornou um leão jovem. Ele aprendeu a capturar a presa. Ele devorava os homens.
Which yede among liouns, and was maad a lioun;
7 Ele conhecia seus palácios, e colocaram lixo em suas cidades. A terra estava desolada com sua plenitude, por causa do barulho de seu rugido.
and lernede to take prey, and to deuoure men. He lernyde to make widewis, and to brynge the citees of men in to desert; and the lond and the fulnesse therof was maad desolat, of the vois of his roryng.
8 Então as nações o atacaram de todos os lados das províncias. Eles espalham sua rede sobre ele. Ele foi levado no poço deles.
And hethene men camen togidere ayens hym on ech side fro prouynces, and spredden on hym her net; he was takun in the woundis of tho hethene men.
9 Eles o colocam em uma gaiola com ganchos, e o trouxe para o rei da Babilônia. Eles o trouxeram para as fortalezas, para que sua voz não seja mais ouvida nas montanhas de Israel.
And thei senten hym in to a caue in chaines, and brouyten hym to the kyng of Babiloyne; and thei senten hym in to prisoun, that his vois were no more herd on the hillis of Israel.
10 “'Sua mãe era como uma videira no seu sangue, plantada junto às águas. Foi frutífero e cheio de ramos em razão de muitas águas.
Thi modir as a vyner in thi blood was plauntid on watre; the fruitis therof and the boowis therof encreessiden of many watris.
11 Tinha ramos fortes para os cetros daqueles que governavam. Sua estatura foi exaltada entre os ramos grossos. Eles foram vistos em sua altura com a multiplicidade de seus ramos.
And sadde yerdis weren maad to it in to septris of lordis, and the stature therof was enhaunsid among boowis; and it siy his hiynesse in the multitude of hise siouns.
12 Mas foi arrancado em fúria. Foi atirado ao chão, e o vento leste secou seus frutos. Seus ramos fortes foram quebrados e ressequidos. O fogo os consumiu.
And it was drawun out in wraththe, and was cast forth in to erthe; and a brennynge wynd dryede the fruyt therof, and the yerdis of strengthe therof welewiden, and weren maad drie, and fier eet it.
13 Agora está plantada no deserto, em uma terra seca e sedenta.
And now it is plauntid ouer in desert, in a lond with out weie, and thristi.
14 O fogo saiu de suas filiais. Ela devorou seus frutos, para que não haja nele um ramo forte para ser um ceptro para governar”. Isto é uma lamentação, e deve ser para uma lamentação”.
And fier yede out of the yerde of the braunchis therof, that eet the fruyt therof. And a stronge yerde, the ceptre of lordis, was not in it. It is weilyng, and it schal be in to weilyng.
