Ezequiel 16
1 Novamente a palavra de Javé veio a mim, dizendo:
And there is a word of YHWH to me, saying,
2 “Filho do homem, faz com que Jerusalém conheça suas abominações;
“Son of man, cause Jerusalem to know her abominations, and you have said,
3 e diz: 'O Senhor Javé diz a Jerusalém': “Sua origem e seu nascimento é da terra dos cananeus”. Um amorreu era seu pai, e sua mãe era uma hitita.
Thus said Lord YHWH to Jerusalem: Your birth and your nativity [Are] of the land of the Canaanite, Your father the Amorite, and your mother a Hittite.
4 Quanto ao seu nascimento, no dia em que você nasceu, seu umbigo não foi cortado. Você não foi lavado na água para limpá-lo. Você não foi nem salgado, nem envolto em cobertores.
As for your nativity, in the day you were born, Your navel has not been cut, And you were not washed in water for ease, And you have not been salted at all, And you have not been swaddled at all.
5 Nenhum olho teve pena de você, de fazer qualquer destas coisas com você, de ter compaixão por você; mas você foi expulso em campo aberto, porque você foi abominado no dia em que nasceu.
No eye has had pity on you, to do any of these to you, To have compassion on you, And you are cast on the face of the field, With loathing of your soul In the day you were born!
6 “““Quando passei por você, e o vi chafurdando em seu sangue, eu lhe disse: 'Embora você esteja em seu sangue, viva! Sim, eu te disse: 'Ainda que estejas em teu sangue, vive!
And I pass over by you, And I see you trodden down in your blood, And I say to you in your blood, Live! Indeed, I say to you in your blood, Live!
7 Fiz com que te multiplicasses à medida que crescesse no campo, e tu cresceste e cresceste muito, e atingiste uma beleza excelente. Seus seios se formaram e seus cabelos cresceram; mas você estava nu e nu.
I have made you a myriad as the shoot of the field, And you are multiplied, and are great, And come in with an excellent adornment, Breasts have been formed, and your hair has grown—And you, naked and bare!
8 “'“Agora quando passei por você, e olhei para você, eis que seu tempo era o tempo do amor; e espalhei minha veste sobre você e cobri sua nudez. Sim, eu me comprometi contigo e fiz um pacto contigo”, diz o Senhor Yahweh, “e tu te tornaste meu.
And I pass over by you, and I see you, And behold, your time [is] a time of loves, And I spread My skirt over you, And I cover your nakedness, And I swear to you, and come into a covenant with you, A declaration of Lord YHWH, And you become Mine.
9 “““Então eu o lavei com água. Sim, lavei completamente seu sangue de você e o ungi com óleo.
And I wash you with water, And I wash away your blood from off you, And I anoint you with oil.
10 Também te vesti com trabalho bordado e coloquei sandálias de couro em você. Eu o vesti com linho fino e o cobri com seda.
And I clothe you with embroidery, And I shoe you with tachash [skin], And I gird you with fine linen, And I cover you with figured silk.
11 Eu te adornei com adornos, coloquei pulseiras em suas mãos e coloquei uma corrente em seu pescoço.
And I adorn you with adornments, And I give bracelets for your hands, And a chain for your neck.
12 Coloquei um anel em seu nariz, brincos em suas orelhas e uma bela coroa em sua cabeça.
And I give a ring for your nose, And rings for your ears, And a crown of beauty on your head.
13 Thus você foi adornado com ouro e prata. Suas roupas eram de linho fino, seda e bordados. Você comeu farinha fina, mel e óleo. Você era extremamente bela, e prosperou até a propriedade real.
And you put on gold and silver, And your clothing [is] fine linen, And figured silk and embroidery, You have eaten fine flour, and honey, and oil, And you are very, very beautiful, And go prosperously to the kingdom.
14 Vossa fama se estendeu entre as nações por sua beleza; pois era perfeita, através de minha majestade, que eu havia colocado sobre vós”, diz o Senhor Javé.
And your name goes forth among nations, Because of your beauty—for it [is] complete, In My honor that I have set on you, A declaration of Lord YHWH.
15 “““Mas você confiou em sua beleza, e se prostituiu por causa de sua fama, e derramou sua prostituição sobre todos que passaram por aqui. Foi a dele.
And you trust in your beauty, And go whoring because of your renown, And pour out your whoredoms on everyone passing by—to him [that would have] it.
16 Vocês pegaram algumas de suas roupas, e fizeram para si lugares altos decorados com várias cores, e jogaram a prostituta nelas. Isto não deveria acontecer, nem deve acontecer.
And you take from your garments, And make spotted high-places for yourself, And go whoring on them, They are not coming in—nor will it be!
17 Vocês também pegaram suas belas jóias de meu ouro e de minha prata, que eu lhes havia dado, e fizeram para si imagens de homens, e brincaram de prostituta com eles.
And you take your beautiful vessels Of My gold and My silver that I gave to you, And make images of a male for yourself, And go whoring with them,
18 Você pegou suas roupas bordadas, cobriu-as e colocou meu óleo e meu incenso diante delas.
And you take the garments of your embroidery, And cover them, And you have set My oil and My incense before them.
19 Meu pão também que eu te dei, farinha fina, óleo e mel, com o qual eu te alimentei, você até o colocou diante deles para um aroma agradável; e assim foi”, diz o Senhor Yahweh.
And My bread, that I gave to you, Fine flour, and oil, and honey, that I caused you to eat. You have even set it before them, For a refreshing fragrance—thus it is, A declaration of Lord YHWH.
20 “““Além disso, você levou seus filhos e suas filhas, que você me deu à luz, e os sacrificou a eles para serem devorados. Sua prostituição foi um pequeno assunto,
And you take your sons and your daughters whom you have born to Me, And sacrifice them to them for food. Is it a little thing because of your whoredoms,
21 que você matou meus filhos e os entregou, ao fazê-los passar pelo fogo para eles?
that you slaughter My sons, And give them up in causing them to pass over to them?
22 Em todas as suas abominações e sua prostituição, você não se lembrou dos dias de sua juventude, quando estava nu e nu, e estava chafurdando em seu sangue.
And with all your abominations and your whoredoms, You have not remembered the days of your youth, When you were naked and bare, You were trodden down in your blood!
23 “'“Aconteceu depois de todas as vossas maldades - ai de vós!” diz o Senhor Yahweh-
And it comes to pass, after all your wickedness (Woe, woe, to you—a declaration of Lord YHWH),
24 “que vocês construíram para si mesmos um lugar abobadado, e se tornaram um lugar elevado em cada rua.
That you build an arch for yourself, And make a high place for yourself in every broad place.
25 Vocês construíram seu lugar elevado à frente de todos os caminhos, e fizeram de sua beleza uma abominação, e abriram seus pés a todos os que passavam e multiplicaram sua prostituição.
At every head of the way you have built your high place, And you make your beauty abominable, And open wide your feet to everyone passing by, And multiply your whoredoms,
26 Você também cometeu a imoralidade sexual com os egípcios, seus vizinhos, grandes de carne; e multiplicou sua prostituição, para me provocar à raiva.
And go whoring to sons of Egypt, Your neighbors—great of appetite! And you multiply your whoredoms, To provoke Me to anger.
27 Veja, portanto, eu estendi minha mão sobre você, e diminuí sua porção, e te entreguei à vontade daqueles que te odeiam, as filhas dos filisteus, que se envergonham de seu modo lascivo.
And behold, I have stretched out My hand against you, And I diminish your portion, And give you to the desire of those hating you, The daughters of the Philistines, Who are ashamed of your wicked way.
28 Você jogou a prostituta também com os assírios, porque você era insaciável; sim, você jogou a prostituta com eles, e ainda assim não ficou satisfeita.
And you go whoring to sons of Asshur, Without your being satisfied, And you go whoring with them, And also—you have not been satisfied.
29 Além disso, você multiplicou sua prostituição para a terra dos comerciantes, para a Caldéia; e ainda assim não ficou satisfeito com isso.
And you multiply your whoredoms On the land of Canaan—toward Chaldea, And even with this you have not been satisfied.
30 “'“Quão fraco é seu coração”, diz o Senhor Javé, “já que você faz todas essas coisas, o trabalho de uma prostituta impudente;
How weak [is] your heart, A declaration of Lord YHWH, In your doing all these, The work of a domineering, whorish woman.
31 em que você constrói sua abóbada à cabeça de todos os caminhos, e faz seu lugar elevado em cada rua, e não tem sido como uma prostituta, em que você despreza o pagamento.
In your building your arch at the head of every way, You have made your high place in every broad place, And have not been as a whore deriding a wage.
32 “““Esposa adúltera, que leva estranhos ao invés de seu marido!
The wife who commits adultery—Under her husband—receives strangers.
33 People dá presentes a todas as prostitutas; mas você dá seus presentes a todos os seus amantes, e os suborna, para que eles venham até você de todos os lados para sua prostituição.
They give a gift to all whores, And you have given your gifts to all your lovers, And bribe them to come in to you, From all around—in your whoredoms.
34 Você é diferente das outras mulheres em sua prostituição, no sentido de que ninguém a segue para se prostituir; e enquanto que você dá o aluguel, e não lhe é dado o aluguel, portanto você é diferente”.
And you are opposite from [other] women in your whoredoms, That none go whoring after you; And in your giving a wage, And a wage has not been given to you; Therefore you are the opposite.
35 “Portanto, prostituta, ouça a palavra de Javé:
Therefore, O whore, hear a word of YHWH!
36 'O Senhor Javé diz: “Porque tua imundícia foi derramada, e tua nudez descoberta através de tua prostituição com teus amantes; e por causa de todos os ídolos de tuas abominações, e pelo sangue de teus filhos, que lhes deste;
Thus said Lord YHWH: Because of your bronze being poured forth, And your nakedness is revealed in your whoredoms near your lovers, And near all the idols of your abominations, And according to the blood of your sons, Whom you have given to them;
37 portanto, veja, vou reunir todos os teus amantes, com os quais tiveste prazer, e todos aqueles que amaste, com todos aqueles que odiaste. Reuni-los-ei mesmo contra vós de todos os lados, e descobrirei vossa nudez para eles, para que possam ver toda vossa nudez.
Therefore, behold, I am assembling all your lovers, To whom you have been sweet, And all whom you have loved, Besides all whom you have hated; And I have assembled them by you all around, And have revealed your nakedness to them, And they have seen all your nakedness.
38 Eu vos julgarei como mulheres que quebram o matrimônio e derramam sangue; e trarei sobre vós o sangue da ira e do ciúme.
And I have judged you—judgments of adultresses, And of women shedding blood, And have given you blood, fury, and jealousy.
39 Também vos entregarei na mão delas, e elas derrubarão vosso lugar abobadado, e derrubarão vossos lugares elevados. Eles o despirão de suas roupas e levarão suas belas jóias. Eles o deixarão nú e nu.
And I have given you into their hand, And they have thrown down your arch, And they have broken down your high places, And they have stripped you of your garments, And they have taken your beautiful vessels, And they have left you naked and bare.
40 Eles também criarão uma empresa contra você, e lhe apedrejarão e o empurrarão com suas espadas.
And have caused an assembly to come up against you, And stoned you with stones, And thrust you through with their swords,
41 Eles queimarão suas casas com fogo, e executarão juízos sobre você à vista de muitas mulheres. Farei com que vocês deixem de se fazer de prostitutas, e vocês também não darão mais nenhum emprego.
And burned your houses with fire, And done judgments in you before the eyes of many women, And I have caused you to cease from going whoring, And also, you no longer give a wage.
42 Assim farei descansar minha ira contra vocês, e meu ciúme se afastará de vocês. Ficarei quieta e não ficarei mais zangada.
And I have caused My fury against you to rest, And My jealousy has turned aside from you, And I have been quiet, and I am not angry anymore.
43 “'“Porque você não se lembrou dos dias de sua juventude, mas se enfureceu contra mim em todas essas coisas; portanto, eis que também eu trarei seu caminho sobre sua cabeça”, diz o Senhor Javé: “e não cometereis esta lascívia com todas as vossas abominações”.
Because you have not remembered the days of your youth, And give trouble to Me in all these, Therefore I also—behold—I put your way on [your own] head, A declaration of Lord YHWH, And you will not have done—have done this wickedness above all your abominations.
44 “” “Eis que todos os que usam provérbios usarão este provérbio contra você, dizendo: “Assim como a mãe, também a filha dela”.
Behold, everyone using the allegory against you, Uses [this] allegory concerning [you], saying, As the mother—her daughter!
45 Você é a filha de sua mãe, que abomina seu marido e seus filhos; e você é a irmã de suas irmãs, que abominava seus maridos e seus filhos. Sua mãe era uma hitita e seu pai um amorita.
You [are] your mother’s daughter, Loathing her husband and her sons, And you [are] your sisters’ sister, Who loathed their husbands and their sons, Your mother [is] a Hittite, and your father an Amorite.
46 Sua irmã mais velha é Samaria, que mora à sua mão esquerda, ela e suas filhas; e sua irmã mais nova, que mora à sua mão direita, é Sodoma com suas filhas.
And your older sister [is] Samaria, she and her daughters, Who is dwelling at your left hand, And your younger sister, who is dwelling on your right hand, [is] Sodom and her daughters.
47 No entanto, você não andou nos caminhos delas, nem fez suas abominações; mas logo você foi mais corrupta do que elas em todos os seus caminhos.
And you have not walked in their ways, And done according to their abominations, It has been loathed as a little thing, Indeed, you do more corruptly than they in all your ways.
48 Ao vivo”, diz o Senhor Javé, “Sodoma sua irmã não fez, nem ela nem suas filhas, como você fez, você e suas filhas”.
[As] I live—a declaration of Lord YHWH, Your sister Sodom has not done—she and her daughters—As you have done—you and your daughters.
49 “““Veja, esta foi a iniquidade de sua irmã Sodoma: o orgulho, a plenitude do pão e a facilidade próspera estavam nela e em suas filhas. Ela também não fortaleceu a mão dos pobres e necessitados.
Behold, this has been the iniquity of your sister Sodom, Arrogancy, fullness of bread, and quiet ease, Have been to her and to her daughters, And the hand of the afflicted and needy She has not strengthened.
50 Eles eram arrogantes e cometiam abominações diante de mim. Portanto, eu as tirei quando as vi.
And they are haughty and do abomination before Me, And I turn them aside when I have seen.
51 Samaria não cometeu metade de seus pecados; mas você multiplicou suas abominações mais do que elas, e justificou suas irmãs por todas as abominações que você fez.
And Samaria has not sinned even half of your sins, But you multiply your abominations more than they, And justify your sisters by all your abominations that you have done.
52 Você também carrega sua própria vergonha, pois julgou suas irmãs; através de seus pecados que você cometeu mais abomináveis do que elas, elas são mais justas do que você. Sim, confunda-se também, e carregue sua vergonha, na medida em que você justificou suas irmãs.
You also—bear your shame, That you have adjudged for your sisters, Because of your sins that you have done more abominably than they, They are more righteous than you, And you, also, be ashamed and bear your shame, In your justifying your sisters.
53 “““Reverterei seu cativeiro, o cativeiro de Sodoma e suas filhas, e o cativeiro de Samaria e suas filhas, e o cativeiro de seus cativos entre eles;
And I have turned back [to] their captivity, The captivity of Sodom and her daughters, And the captivity of Samaria and her daughters, And the captivity of your captives in their midst,
54 para que você possa suportar sua própria vergonha, e possa se envergonhar por causa de tudo o que você fez, na medida em que você é um conforto para eles.
So that you bear your shame, And have been ashamed of all that you have done, In your comforting them.
55 Suas irmãs, Sodoma e suas filhas, retornarão à sua antiga propriedade; e Samaria e suas filhas retornarão à sua antiga propriedade; e você e suas filhas retornarão à sua antiga propriedade.
And your sisters, Sodom and her daughters, Return to their former state, And Samaria and her daughters return to their former state, And you and your daughters return to your former state.
56 Pois sua irmã Sodoma não foi mencionada por sua boca no dia de seu orgulho,
And your sister Sodom has not been for a report in your mouth, In the day of your arrogancy,
57 antes que sua maldade fosse descoberta, como na época da reprovação das filhas da Síria, e de todas as que estão ao seu redor, as filhas dos filisteus, que o desprezam a todos ao seu redor.
Before your wickedness is revealed, As [at] the time of the reproach of the daughters of Aram, And of all her neighbors, the daughters of the Philistines, Who are despising you all around.
58 Você suportou sua lascívia e suas abominações”, diz Yahweh.
Your wicked plans and your abominations, You have borne them, a declaration of YHWH.
59 “'Pois o Senhor Javé diz: “Eu também vou lidar com vocês como vocês fizeram, que desprezaram o juramento de quebrar o pacto.
For thus said Lord YHWH: I have dealt with you as you have done, In that you have despised an oath—to break covenant.
60 Nevertheless Lembrarei meu pacto com vocês nos dias de sua juventude, e estabelecerei um pacto eterno com vocês”.
And I have remembered My covenant with you, In the days of your youth, And I have established a perpetual covenant for you.
61 Então você se lembrará de seus caminhos e se envergonhará quando receber suas irmãs, suas irmãs mais velhas e suas mais novas; e eu as darei a você por filhas, mas não por seu pacto.
And you have remembered your ways, And you have been ashamed, In your receiving your sisters—Your older with your younger, And I have given them to you for daughters, And not by your covenant.
62 Estabelecerei meu pacto com vocês. Então você saberá que eu sou Yahweh;
And I have established My covenant with you, And you have known that I [am] YHWH.
63 para que você se lembre, e fique confundido, e nunca mais abra sua boca por causa de sua vergonha, quando eu tiver perdoado tudo o que você fez”, diz o Senhor Yahweh'”.
So that you remember, And you have been ashamed, And there is not an opening of the mouth to you anymore because of your shame, In My receiving atonement for you, For all that you have done, A declaration of Lord YHWH!”
