Ezequiel 12
1 A palavra de Javé também veio até mim, dizendo:
And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
2 “Filho do homem, você mora no meio da casa rebelde, que tem olhos para ver, e não vê, que tem ouvidos para ouvir, e não ouve; pois eles são uma casa rebelde.
Son of man, thou dwellest in the midst of the iniquities of those, who have eyes to see, and see not; and have ears to hear, and hear not: because it is a provoking house.
3 “Portanto, você, filho do homem, prepare sua bagagem para a mudança, e mova-se de dia à vista deles. Você deve se mover de seu lugar para outro lugar à vista deles. Pode ser que eles considerem, embora sejam uma casa rebelde.
Thou therefore, son of man, prepare thyself baggage for going into captivity by day in their sight; and thou shalt be led into captivity from thy place into another place in their sight; that they may see that it is a provoking house.
4 Você deve trazer sua bagagem de dia à vista deles, como bagagem para a mudança. Você mesmo sairá à noite à vista deles, como quando os homens saem para o exílio.
And thou shalt carry forth thy baggage, baggage for captivity, by day before their eyes: and thou shalt go forth at even, as a captive goes forth, in their sight.
5 Cavem através da parede à vista deles e levem sua bagagem para fora dessa maneira.
Dig for thyself into the wall [of the house], and thou shalt pass through it in their sight:
6 À vista deles, você a carregará no ombro e a levará para fora no escuro. Cobrirás teu rosto, para que não vejas a terra, pois eu te coloquei para um sinal à casa de Israel”.
thou shalt be lifted up on [men's] shoulders, and shalt go forth in secret: thou shalt cover thy face, and shalt not see the ground: because I have made thee a sign to the house of Israel.
7 Eu o fiz como me foi ordenado. Trouxe minha bagagem de dia, como bagagem para me mover, e à noite escavei a parede com minha mão. Trouxe-a para fora no escuro, e a levei no ombro à vista deles.
And I did thus according to all that he commanded me; and I carried forth my baggage for captivity by day, and in the evening I dug through the wall for myself, and went out secretly; I was taken up on [men's] shoulders before them.
8 Pela manhã, a palavra de Javé veio até mim, dizendo:
And the word of the Lord came to me in the morning, saying,
9 “Filho do homem, a casa de Israel, a casa rebelde, não lhe disse: 'O que você está fazendo?
Son of man, have not the house of Israel, the provoking house, said to thee, What doest thou?
10 “Diga-lhes: 'O Senhor Javé diz: “Este fardo diz respeito ao príncipe em Jerusalém, e a toda a casa de Israel entre os quais estão”.
Say to them, Thus saith the Lord God, the Prince and the Ruler in Israel, even to all the house of Israel who are in the midst of them:
11 “Diga: 'Eu sou seu signo. Como eu já fiz, assim será feito com eles. Eles irão para o exílio, para o cativeiro.
say, I am performing signs: as I have done, so shall it be to him: they shall go into banishment and captivity.
12 “'O príncipe que está entre eles levará sua bagagem no ombro no escuro, e sairá. Eles cavarão através da parede para levar as coisas para fora dessa maneira. Ele cobrirá seu rosto, porque não verá a terra com seus olhos.
And the prince in the midst of them shall be borne upon shoulders, and shall go forth in secret through the wall, and shall dig so that he may go forth thereby: he shall cover his face, that he may not be seen by [any] eye, and he himself shall not see the ground.
13 Também espalharei minha rede sobre ele, e ele será levado na minha armadilha. Eu o levarei à Babilônia para a terra dos caldeus; no entanto, ele não o verá, embora morra lá.
And I will spread out my net upon him, and he shall be caught in my toils: and I will bring him to Babylon to the land of the Chaldeans; but he shall not see it, though he shall die there.
14 Espalharei para cada vento todos os que estão ao seu redor para ajudá-lo, e todas as suas bandas. Eu desembainharei a espada atrás deles.
And I will scatter to every wind all his assistants round about him, and all that help him; and I will draw out a sword after them;
15 “'Eles saberão que eu sou Yahweh quando eu os dispersar entre as nações e os dispersar pelos países.
And they shall know that I am the Lord, when I have scattered them among the nations; and I will disperse them in the countries.
16 Mas deixarei alguns homens deles da espada, da fome e da peste, para que declarem todas as suas abominações entre as nações de onde eles vêm. Então eles saberão que eu sou Yahweh”.
And I will leave of them [a few] men in number [spared] from the sword, and from famine, and pestilence; that they may declare all their iniquities among the nations whither they have gone; and they shall know that I am the Lord.
17 Além disso, a palavra de Javé veio a mim, dizendo:
And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
18 “Filho do homem, come teu pão com tremor e bebe tua água com tremor e com medo”.
Son of man, eat thy bread with sorrow, and drink [thy] water with torment and affliction.
19 Diga ao povo da terra: “O Senhor Javé diz a respeito dos habitantes de Jerusalém e da terra de Israel”: “Eles comerão seu pão com temor e beberão sua água com consternação, para que sua terra fique desolada, e tudo o que nela existe, por causa da violência de todos os que nela habitam”.
And thou shalt say to the people of the land, Thus saith the Lord to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, on the land of Israel; They shall eat their bread in scarcity, and shall drink their water in desolation, that the land may be desolate with all that it contains: for all that dwell in it are ungodly.
20 As cidades habitadas serão assoladas e a terra será uma desolação. Então vocês saberão que eu sou Yahweh””.
And their inhabited cities shall be laid utterly waste, and the land shall be desolate; and ye shall know that I am the Lord.
21 A palavra de Javé veio a mim, dizendo:
And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
22 “Filho do homem, que provérbio é esse que você tem na terra de Israel, dizendo: 'Os dias são prolongados, e toda visão falha...'
Son of man, what is your parable on the land of Israel, that ye say, The days are long, the vision has perished?
23 Diga-lhes portanto: 'O Senhor Javé diz: “Farei cessar este provérbio, e eles não o usarão mais como provérbio em Israel;” mas diga-lhes: 'Os dias estão próximos, e o cumprimento de toda visão.
Therefore say to them, Thus saith the Lord; I will even set aside this parable, and the house of Israel shall no more at all use this parable: for thou shalt say to them, The days are at hand, and the import of every vision.
24 Pois não haverá mais nenhuma visão falsa nem adivinhação lisonjeadora dentro da casa de Israel”.
For there shall no more be any false vision, nor any one prophesying flatteries in the midst of the children of Israel.
25 Pois eu sou Yahweh. Eu falarei, e a palavra que eu falar será executada. Não haverá mais adiamento; pois em vossos dias, casa rebelde, falarei a palavra e a cumprirei”, diz o Senhor Javé'”.
For I the Lord will speak my words; I will speak and perform [them], and will no more delay, for in your days, O provoking house, I will speak the word, and will perform [it], saith the Lord.
26 Novamente a palavra de Javé veio a mim, dizendo:
Moreover the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
27 “Filho do homem, eis que eles da casa de Israel dizem: 'A visão que ele vê está para vir por muitos dias, e ele profetiza de tempos que estão longe'.
Son of man, behold, the provoking house of Israel boldly say, The vision which this man sees is for many days, and he prophesies for times afar off.
28 “Portanto, diz-lhes: 'O Senhor Javé diz: “Nenhuma das minhas palavras será mais adiada, mas a palavra que eu falar será executada”, diz o Senhor Javé”.
Therefore say to them, Thus saith the Lord; Henceforth none of my words shall linger, which I shall speak: I will speak and do, saith the Lord.
