Êxodo 6
1 Yahweh disse a Moisés: “Agora verás o que farei ao Faraó, porque por uma mão forte os deixará ir, e por uma mão forte os expulsará de sua terra”.
Adonai said to Moses [Drawn out], “Now you shall see what I will do to Pharaoh, for by a strong hand he shall let them go, and by a strong hand he shall divorce them out of his land.”
2 Deus falou a Moisés e disse-lhe: “Eu sou Yahweh”.
God spoke to Moses [Drawn out], and said to him, “I am Adonai;
3 Eu apareci a Abraão, a Isaac e a Jacó, como Deus Todo-Poderoso; mas pelo meu nome Yahweh eu não era conhecido por eles.
and I appeared to Abraham [Father of a multitude], to Isaac [Laughter], and to Jacob [Supplanter], as El Shaddai [God Almighty]; but by my name Adonai I was not known to them.
4 Também estabeleci minha aliança com eles, para dar-lhes a terra de Canaã, a terra de suas viagens, na qual eles viveram como estrangeiros.
I have also established my covenant ·binding contract between two or more parties· with them, to give them the land of Canaan [Humbled], the land of their travels, in which they lived as aliens.
5 Além disso, ouvi o gemido dos filhos de Israel, que os egípcios mantêm em cativeiro, e lembrei-me de meu pacto.
Moreover I have sh'ma ·heard obeyed· the groaning of the children of Israel [God prevails], whom the Egyptians [people from Abode of slavery] keep in bondage, and I have remembered my covenant.
6 Portanto, diga aos filhos de Israel: 'Eu sou Yahweh, e vos tirarei do fardo dos egípcios, e vos livrarei da escravidão deles, e vos redimirei com um braço estendido, e com grandes julgamentos'.
Therefore tell the children of Israel [God prevails], ‘I am Adonai, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians [people from Abode of slavery], and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm, and with great judgments:
7 Eu vos levarei para mim mesmo como um povo. Eu serei seu Deus; e você saberá que eu sou Yahweh, seu Deus, que o faz sair de baixo do fardo dos egípcios.
and I will take you to be my people, and I will be your God; and you shall know that I am Adonai your God, who brings you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians [people from Abode of slavery].
8 Eu vos levarei para a terra que jurei dar a Abraão, a Isaac e a Jacó; e eu vo-la darei por herança: Eu sou Yahweh”.
I will bring you into the land which I swore to give to Abraham [Father of a multitude], to Isaac [Laughter], and to Jacob [Supplanter]; and I will give it to you for a heritage: I am Adonai.’”
9 Moisés falou assim com os filhos de Israel, mas eles não ouviram Moisés por angústia de espírito e por uma escravidão cruel.
Moses [Drawn out] spoke so to the children of Israel [God prevails], but they didn’t sh'ma ·hear obey· unto Moses [Drawn out] for anguish of spirit, and for cruel bondage.
10 Yahweh falou a Moisés, dizendo,
Adonai spoke to Moses [Drawn out], saying,
11 “Entra, fala ao Faraó, rei do Egito, que ele deixou os filhos de Israel saírem de sua terra”.
“Go in, speak to Pharaoh king of Egypt [Abode of slavery], that he let the children of Israel [God prevails] go out of his land.”
12 Moisés falou diante de Javé, dizendo: “Eis que os filhos de Israel não me escutaram. Como então o Faraó me escutará, quando eu tiver lábios incircuncisos”?
Moses [Drawn out] spoke before Adonai, saying, “Behold, the children of Israel [God prevails] haven’t sh'ma ·heard obeyed· unto me. How then shall Pharaoh listen to me, who am of uncircumcised lips?”
13 Javé falou a Moisés e a Arão, e deu-lhes uma ordem aos filhos de Israel, e ao Faraó, rei do Egito, para trazer os filhos de Israel para fora da terra do Egito.
Adonai spoke to Moses [Drawn out] and to Aaron [Light-bringer], and gave them an enjoinment to the children of Israel [God prevails], and to Pharaoh king of Egypt [Abode of slavery], to bring the children of Israel [God prevails] out of the land of Egypt [Abode of slavery].
14 Estes são os chefes das casas de seus pais. Os filhos de Rúben, o primogênito de Israel: Hanoch, e Pallu, Hezron e Carmi; estas são as famílias de Reuben.
These are the heads of their fathers’ houses. The sons of Reuben [See, a son!] the firstborn of Israel [God prevails]: Hanoch, and Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi; these are the families of Reuben [See, a son!].
15 Os filhos de Simeão: Jemuel, e Jamin, e Ohad, e Jachin, e Zohar, e Shaul, filho de uma mulher cananéia; estas são as famílias de Simeon.
The sons of Simeon [Hearing]: Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul [Asked for] the son of a Canaanite [Descendant of Humbled] woman; these are the families of Simeon [Hearing].
16 Estes são os nomes dos filhos de Levi, de acordo com suas gerações: Gershon, e Kohath, e Merari; e os anos da vida de Levi foram cento e trinta e sete anos.
These are the names of the sons of Levi [United with] according to their generations: Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari; and the years of the life of Levi [United with] were one hundred thirty-seven years.
17 Os filhos de Gershon: Libni e Shimei, de acordo com suas famílias.
The sons of Gershon: Libni and Shimei, according to their families.
18 Os filhos de Kohath: Amram, e Izhar, e Hebron, e Uzziel; e os anos da vida de Kohath foram cento e trinta e três anos.
The sons of Kohath: Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel; and the years of the life of Kohath were one hundred thirty-three years.
19 Os filhos de Merari: Mahli e Mushi. Estas são as famílias dos Levitas, de acordo com suas gerações.
The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites [Descendants of United with] according to their generations.
20 Amram levou para si a irmã de seu pai Jochebed como esposa; e ela o deu à luz Aarão e Moisés. Os anos da vida de Amrão foram cento e trinta e sete anos.
Amram took Jochebed his father’s sister to himself as wife; and she bore him Aaron [Light-bringer] and Moses [Drawn out]: and the years of the life of Amram were one hundred and thirty-seven years.
21 Os filhos de Izhar: Korah, e Nefegue, e Zichri.
The sons of Izhar: Korach [Bald one, Frost], and Nepheg, and Zichri.
22 Os filhos de Uzziel: Mishael, Elzaphan, e Sithri.
The sons of Uzziel: Mishael, and Elzaphan, and Sithri.
23 Aaron tomou Elisheba, filha de Amminadab, irmã de Nahshon, como esposa; e ela lhe deu à luz Nadab e Abihu, Eleazar e Ithamar.
Aaron [Light-bringer] took Elisheba, the daughter of Amminadab, the sister of Nahshon, as his wife; and she bore him Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar [Help of God] and Ithamar.
24 Os filhos de Corá: Assir, Elkanah e Abiasaf; estas são as famílias dos coraítas.
The sons of Korach [Bald one, Frost]: Assir, and Elkanah, and Abiasaph; these are the families of the Korahites.
25 O filho de Eleazar Aaron tomou uma das filhas de Putiel como esposa; e ela o deu à luz Phinehas. Estes são os chefes das casas dos pais dos levitas, de acordo com suas famílias.
Eleazar [Help of God] Aaron [Light-bringer]’s son took one of the daughters of Putiel as his wife; and she bore him Pinchas [Bronze skin]. These are the heads of the fathers’ houses of the Levites [Descendants of United with] according to their families.
26 Estes são aquele Aarão e Moisés a quem Javé disse: “Tragam os filhos de Israel da terra do Egito, de acordo com seus exércitos”.
These are that Aaron [Light-bringer] and Moses [Drawn out], to whom Adonai said, “Bring out the children of Israel [God prevails] from the land of Egypt [Abode of slavery] according to their armies.”
27 Estes são aqueles que falaram ao Faraó, rei do Egito, para trazer os filhos de Israel do Egito. Estes são aqueles que Moisés e Aarão.
These are those who spoke to Pharaoh king of Egypt [Abode of slavery], to bring out the children of Israel [God prevails] from Egypt [Abode of slavery]. These are that Moses [Drawn out] and Aaron [Light-bringer].
28 No dia em que Javé falou a Moisés na terra do Egito,
On the day when Adonai spoke to Moses [Drawn out] in the land of Egypt [Abode of slavery],
29 Javé disse a Moisés: “Eu sou Javé”. Diga ao Faraó, rei do Egito, tudo o que eu lhe digo”.
Adonai spoke to Moses [Drawn out], saying, “I am Adonai. Speak to Pharaoh king of Egypt [Abode of slavery] all that I speak to you.”
30 Moisés disse diante de Javé: “Eis que sou de lábios incircuncisos, e como o Faraó me escutará?
Moses [Drawn out] said before Adonai, “Behold, I am of uncircumcised lips, and how shall Pharaoh sh'ma ·hear obey· unto me?”
