Deuteronômio 23
1 Aquele que for emasculado por esmagamento ou corte não entrará na assembléia de Yahweh.
He that is crushed or maimed in his privy parts shall not enter into the assembly of the LORD.
2 Uma pessoa nascida de uma união proibida não entrará na assembléia de Yahweh; mesmo a décima geração não entrará na assembléia de Yahweh.
A bastard shall not enter into the assembly of the LORD; even to the tenth generation shall none of his enter into the assembly of the LORD.
3 Um amonita ou um moabita não entrará na assembléia de Iavé; mesmo à décima geração ninguém pertencente a eles entrará para sempre na assembléia de Iavé,
An Ammonite or a Moabite shall not enter into the assembly of the LORD; even to the tenth generation shall none of them enter into the assembly of the LORD for ever;
4 because eles não o conheceram com pão e água no caminho quando você saiu do Egito, e porque contrataram contra você Balaão, filho de Beor de Pethor da Mesopotâmia, para amaldiçoá-lo.
because they met you not with bread and with water in the way, when ye came forth out of Egypt; and because they hired against thee Balaam the son of Beor from Pethor of Aram-naharaim, to curse thee.
5 Nevertheless Javé seu Deus não quis ouvir Balaão, mas Javé seu Deus transformou a maldição em uma bênção para você, porque Javé seu Deus o amava.
Nevertheless the LORD thy God would not hearken unto Balaam; but the LORD thy God turned the curse into a blessing unto thee, because the LORD thy God loved thee.
6 Você não buscará a paz nem a prosperidade deles para sempre em todos os seus dias.
Thou shalt not seek their peace nor their prosperity all thy days for ever.
7 Não abominareis um edomita, pois ele é vosso irmão. Não abominarás um egípcio, porque viveste como estrangeiro em sua terra.
Thou shalt not abhor an Edomite, for he is thy brother; thou shalt not abhor an Egyptian, because thou wast a stranger in his land.
8 As crianças da terceira geração que lhes nasceram podem entrar na assembléia de Yahweh.
The children of the third generation that are born unto them may enter into the assembly of the LORD.
9 Quando saírem e acamparem contra seus inimigos, então vocês se manterão afastados de toda coisa má.
When thou goest forth in camp against thine enemies, then thou shalt keep thee from every evil thing.
10 Se houver entre vocês algum homem que não esteja limpo por causa do que lhe acontece à noite, então ele deverá sair do acampamento. Ele não entrará dentro do acampamento;
If there be among you any man, that is not clean by reason of that which chanceth him by night, then shall he go abroad out of the camp, he shall not come within the camp.
11 mas será, quando chegar a noite, que ele se banhará em água. Quando o sol se puser, ele virá dentro do acampamento.
But it shall be, when evening cometh on, he shall bathe himself in water; and when the sun is down, he may come within the camp.
12 Você terá um lugar também fora do acampamento, onde irá se aliviar.
Thou shalt have a place also without the camp, whither thou shalt go forth abroad.
13 Você terá uma colher de pedreiro entre suas armas. Será, quando você se aliviar, escavará com ela e voltará para trás e cobrirá seus excrementos;
And thou shalt have a paddle among thy weapons; and it shall be, when thou sittest down abroad, thou shalt dig therewith, and shalt turn back and cover that which cometh from thee.
14 para Yahweh seu Deus caminha no meio de seu acampamento, para libertá-lo e para entregar seus inimigos diante de você. Portanto, seu acampamento será santo, para que ele não veja em você uma coisa impura, e se afaste de você.
For the LORD thy God walketh in the midst of thy camp, to deliver thee, and to give up thine enemies before thee; therefore shall thy camp be holy; that He see no unseemly thing in thee, and turn away from thee.
15 Você não deve entregar a seu senhor um servo que tenha escapado de seu senhor para você.
Thou shalt not deliver unto his master a bondman that is escaped from his master unto thee;
16 Ele habitará com vocês, entre vocês, no lugar que ele escolher dentro de um de seus portões, onde mais lhe agradar. Não o oprimirás.
he shall dwell with thee, in the midst of thee, in the place which he shall choose within one of thy gates, where it liketh him best; thou shalt not wrong him.
17 Não haverá nenhuma prostituta das filhas de Israel, nem haverá um sodomita dos filhos de Israel.
There shall be no harlot of the daughters of Israel, neither shall there be a sodomite of the sons of Israel.
18 Você não trará o aluguel de uma prostituta, ou o salário de um homem prostituto, para a casa de Javé seu Deus por qualquer voto; pois ambos são uma abominação para Javé seu Deus.
Thou shalt not bring the hire of a harlot, or the price of a dog, into the house of the LORD thy God for any vow; for even both these are an abomination unto the LORD thy God.
19 Você não deve emprestar juros a seu irmão: juros de dinheiro, juros de comida, juros de qualquer coisa que seja emprestada sobre juros.
Thou shalt not lend upon interest to thy brother: interest of money, interest of victuals, interest of any thing that is lent upon interest.
20 Você pode cobrar juros de um estrangeiro; mas não cobrará juros de seu irmão, para que Yahweh seu Deus o abençoe em tudo a que você colocar sua mão, na terra onde você entrar para possuí-la.
Unto a foreigner thou mayest lend upon interest; but unto thy brother thou shalt not lend upon interest; that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all that thou puttest thy hand unto, in the land whither thou goest in to possess it.
21 Quando você faz um voto a Javé seu Deus, não será frouxo para pagá-lo, pois Javé seu Deus certamente o exigirá de você; e isso seria pecado em você.
When thou shalt vow a vow unto the LORD thy God, thou shalt not be slack to pay it; for the LORD thy God will surely require it of thee; and it will be sin in thee.
22 Mas se você se abster de fazer um voto, não será pecado em você.
But if thou shalt forbear to vow, it shall be no sin in thee.
23 Você deve observar e fazer o que saiu de seus lábios. O que quer que tenha prometido a Javé seu Deus como uma oferta de livre vontade, o que prometeu com sua boca, você deve fazer.
That which is gone out of thy lips thou shalt observe and do; according as thou hast vowed freely unto the LORD thy God, even that which thou hast promised with thy mouth.
24 Ao entrar na vinha de seu vizinho, você poderá comer a sua fartura de uvas a seu próprio prazer; mas não deve colocar nenhuma em seu recipiente.
When thou comest into thy neighbour's vineyard, then thou mayest eat grapes until thou have enough at thine own pleasure; but thou shalt not put any in thy vessel.
25 Ao entrar na vinha de seu vizinho, você poderá arrancar as espigas com a mão; mas não deverá usar uma foice no grão de seu vizinho.
When thou comest into thy neighbour's standing corn, then thou mayest pluck ears with thy hand; but thou shalt not move a sickle unto thy neighbour's standing corn.
