Deuteronômio 14
1 Vocês são os filhos de Yahweh, seu Deus. Vocês não se cortarão, nem farão calvície entre seus olhos para os mortos.
Be ye the sones of youre Lord God; ye schulen not kitte you, nether ye schulen make ballidnesse,
2 Pois vós sois um povo santo para Javé vosso Deus, e Javé vos escolheu para serdes um povo para sua própria posse, acima de todos os povos que estão sobre a face da terra.
on a deed man, for thou art an hooli puple to thi Lord God, and he chees thee that thou be to hym in to a special puple, of alle folkis that ben on erthe.
3 Você não deve comer nenhuma coisa abominável.
Ete ye not tho thingis that ben vncleene.
4 Estes são os animais que você pode comer: o boi, o carneiro, o cabrito,

6 Todo animal que divide o casco e tem o casco dividido em dois e mastiga o mimo, entre os animais, você pode comer.

10 Não comerás o que não tiver barbatanas e escamas. É impuro para você.

11 De todas as aves limpas que você pode comer.
Ete ye alle clene briddis;
12 Mas estas são aquelas das quais você não comerá: a águia, o abutre, a águia-pesqueira,
ete ye not vncleene briddis, that is, an egle, and a gripe,
13 a pipa vermelha, o falcão, o papagaio de qualquer espécie,

and a swan, and a siconye, and a dippere, a pursirioun, and a reremous, a cormeraunt,
18 the a cegonha, a garça depois de sua espécie, a poupa, e o morcego.
and a caladrie, alle in her kynde; also a lapwynke and a backe.
19 todas as coisas rastejantes com asas são imundas para você. Elas não devem ser comidas.
And al thing that crepith, and hath fynnes, schal be vncleene, and schal not be etun.
20 de todas as aves limpas que você pode comer.
Ete ye al thing that is cleene; sotheli what euer thing is deed bi it silf, ete ye not therof.
21 Você não deve comer de nada que morra de si mesmo. Você pode dá-lo ao estrangeiro que vive entre vocês, que está dentro de seus portões, para que ele o coma; ou você pode vendê-lo a um estrangeiro; pois você é um povo santo para Yahweh seu Deus. Você não deve ferver um cabrito no leite de sua mãe.

22 Você certamente ditará todo o aumento de sua semente, aquela que sai do campo ano após ano.

23 Você comerá diante de Javé seu Deus, no lugar que ele escolher para fazer habitar seu nome, o dízimo de seu grão, de seu novo vinho e de seu azeite, e o primogênito de seu rebanho e de seu rebanho; para que aprenda a temer sempre a Javé seu Deus.
and thou schal ete in the siyt of thi Lord God, in the place which he chees, that his name be clepid therynne; thou schalt offre the tithe of thi wheete, wyn, and oile, and the firste gendryd thingis of thi droues, and scheep, that thou lerne to drede thi Lord God in al tyme.
24 Se o caminho for muito longo para você, para que não possa carregá-lo porque o lugar que Javé seu Deus escolherá para colocar seu nome lá é muito longe de você, quando Javé seu Deus o abençoar,

25 então você o transformará em dinheiro, amarrará o dinheiro em sua mão e irá para o lugar que Javé seu Deus escolherá.

26 Você trocará o dinheiro pelo que sua alma desejar: por gado, ou por ovelhas, ou por vinho, ou por bebida forte, ou por tudo o que sua alma lhe pedir. Ali comerás diante de Javé teu Deus, e te alegrarás, tu e tua casa.
and thou schalt bie of the same money what euer thing plesith to thee, ethir of droues, ether of scheep; also thou schalt bie wyn, and sidur, and al thing that thi soule desirith; and thou schalt ete bifor thi Lord God, and thou schalt make feeste,
27 Não abandonareis o Levita que está dentro de vossos portões, pois ele não tem parte nem herança convosco.

28 Ao final de cada três anos, você trará todo o dízimo de seu aumento no mesmo ano, e o guardará dentro de seus portões.
In the thridde yeer thou schalt departe another dyme of alle thingis that growen to thee in that yeer, and thou schalt kepe withynne thi yatis.
29 O Levita, porque não tem porção nem herança com você, assim como o estrangeiro que vive entre vocês, o órfão e a viúva que estão dentro de seus portões virá, e comerá e ficará satisfeito; para que Yahweh seu Deus possa abençoá-lo em todo o trabalho de sua mão que você fizer.
And the dekene schal come, whych hath noon other part nether possessioun with thee, and the pilgrym, and the fadirles, ether modirles child, and widue, that ben withynne thi yatis, `schulen come, and schulen ete, and be fillid, that thi Lord God blesse thee, in alle werkis of thin hondis whiche thou schalt do.
