Atos 3
1 Pedro e João estavam subindo ao templo na hora da oração, a nona hora.
Now at the same time Peter and John were going up into the temple, at the hour of prayer, the ninth.
2 Um certo homem que estava coxo desde o ventre de sua mãe estava sendo carregado, que eles colocavam diariamente à porta do templo que se chama Bonito, para pedir presentes para os necessitados daqueles que entravam no templo.
And a certain man, being lame from his mother's belly, was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple, called Beautiful, to ask charity from those who entered into the temple,
3 Ao ver Pedro e João prestes a entrar no templo, ele pediu para receber presentes para os necessitados.
who, having seen Peter and John intending to go into the temple, asked charity.
4 Pedro, fixando seus olhos nele, com João, disse: “Olhe para nós”.
And Peter, having gazed intently at him, with John, said, Look at us.
5 Ele os ouviu, esperando receber algo deles.
And he gave attention to them expecting to receive something from them.
6 Mas Pedro disse: “Eu não tenho prata nem ouro, mas o que eu tenho, que eu lhes dou. Em nome de Jesus Cristo de Nazaré, levantem-se e caminhem”!
But Peter said, No silver and gold exists to me, but what I have, this I give thee. In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, rise up and walk.
7 Ele o pegou pela mão direita e o levantou. Imediatamente seus pés e seus ossos do tornozelo receberam força.
And after taking him by the right hand, he lifted him up. And immediately his feet and his ankles were strengthened.
8 Saltando, ele se levantou e começou a andar. Ele entrou com eles no templo, caminhando, saltando e louvando a Deus.
And leaping up, he stood and walked. And he entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.
9 Todo o povo o viu caminhando e louvando a Deus.
And all the people saw him walking and praising God,
10 Eles o reconheceram, que era ele quem costumava sentar-se pedindo presentes para os necessitados na Porta Bonita do templo. Ficaram maravilhados e maravilhados com o que havia acontecido com ele.
and they recognized him, that this was the man who sat for charity at the Beautiful Gate of the temple. And they were filled of astonishment and amazement at that which happened to him.
11 Como o coxo que foi curado se agarrou a Pedro e João, todas as pessoas correram juntas para eles no alpendre que se chama Salomão, maravilhando-se muito.
And as the lame man who was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together to them in the porch that is called Solomon's, amazed.
12 Quando Pedro o viu, ele respondeu ao povo: “Vocês, homens de Israel, por que se maravilham com este homem? Por que fixam seus olhos em nós, como se por nosso próprio poder ou piedade o tivéssemos feito andar?
And Peter having seen, he responded to the people, Men, Israelites, why do ye marvel at this man? Or why do ye stare at us, as by our own power or piety we have made him to walk?
13 O Deus de Abraão, Isaac e Jacó, o Deus de nossos pais, glorificou seu Servo Jesus, a quem vocês entregaram e negaram na presença de Pilatos, quando ele havia determinado libertá-lo.
The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his Boy Jesus, whom ye actually delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate who preferred to release that man.
14 Mas vós negastes o Santo e Justo e pedistes que vos fosse concedido um assassino,
But ye denied the Holy and Righteous, and asked for a man, a murderer to be granted to you.
15 e matastes o Príncipe da vida, a quem Deus ressuscitou dentre os mortos, do qual nós somos testemunhas.
And ye killed the Pathfinder of life, whom God raised from the dead, of which we are witnesses.
16 Pela fé em seu nome, seu nome tornou este homem forte, que você vê e conhece. Sim, a fé que é através dele lhe deu esta perfeita solidez na presença de todos vós.
And by faith in his name, this man whom ye see and know, his name has made strong. And faith through him has given him this complete soundness in the presence of you all.
17 “Agora, irmãos, eu sei que vocês fizeram isto por ignorância, assim como seus governantes.
And now, brothers, I know that ye did it from ignorance, as also your rulers.
18 Mas as coisas que Deus anunciou pela boca de todos os seus profetas, que Cristo deveria sofrer, ele assim cumpriu.
But this way God fulfilled what things were foretold, through the mouth of all his prophets, the Christ was to endure.
19 “Arrependei-vos, portanto, e convertei-vos novamente, para que vossos pecados sejam apagados, para que venham tempos de refrigério da presença do Senhor,
Repent ye therefore, and be converted in order to wipe away your sins, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.
20 e para que Ele envie Cristo Jesus, que foi ordenado para vós antes,
And he may send Christ Jesus who has been pre-ordained for you,
21 a quem o céu deve receber até os tempos da restauração de todas as coisas, que Deus falou há muito tempo pela boca de seus santos profetas. (aiōn g165)
whom heaven must indeed receive until the times of restoration of all things, of which God spoke through the mouth of all his holy prophets from the age. (aiōn g165)
22 Pois Moisés disse de fato aos pais: 'O Senhor Deus levantará um profeta para vós de entre vossos irmãos, como eu'. O ouvireis em tudo o que ele vos disser”.
For Moses indeed said to the fathers, The Lord our God will raise up a prophet for you, from your brothers, like me. Ye shall hear him in all things, as many as he might speak to you.
23 Será que toda alma que não der ouvidos a esse profeta será totalmente destruída do meio do povo”.
And every soul, whichever it will be, if it will not hear that prophet will be utterly destroyed from the people.
24 Sim, e todos os profetas de Samuel e aqueles que o seguiram, tantos quantos falaram, também falaram destes dias.
And also all the prophets from Samuel and those in succession, as many as spoke, also proclaimed these days.
25 Vocês são os filhos dos profetas, e do pacto que Deus fez com nossos pais, dizendo a Abraão: “Todas as famílias da terra serão abençoadas através de sua descendência”.
Ye are sons of the prophets, and of the covenant that God made for our fathers, saying to Abraham, And in thy seed all the patriarchies of the earth will be blessed.
26 Deus, tendo ressuscitado seu servo Jesus, enviou-o primeiro a vós para abençoar-vos, afastando cada um de vós de vossa maldade”.
To you first, having raised up his Boy Jesus, God sent him blessing you, in turning away each man from your evils.
