2 Timóteo 3
1 Mas saiba isto: que nos últimos dias virão tempos dolorosos.
This knowe also, that in the last dayes shall come perilous times.
2 Para os homens serão amantes de si mesmos, amantes do dinheiro, orgulhosos, arrogantes, blasfemos, desobedientes aos pais, ingratos, profanos,
For men shalbe louers of their owne selues, couetous, boasters, proud, cursed speakers, disobedient to parents, vnthankefull, vnholy,
3 sem afeição natural, imperdoáveis, caluniadores, sem autocontrole, ferozes, não amantes do bem,
Without naturall affection, truce breakers, false accusers, intemperate, fierce, no louers at all of them which are good,
4 traitors, obstinados, convencidos, amantes do prazer ao invés de amantes de Deus,
Traitours, headie, high minded, louers of pleasures more then louers of God,
5 segurando uma forma de piedade, mas tendo negado seu poder. Afaste-se destes também.
Hauing a shewe of godlinesse, but haue denied the power thereof: turne away therefore from such.
6 Para alguns deles são pessoas que se infiltram em casas e levam cativas mulheres crédulas carregadas de pecados, levadas por várias luxúrias,
For of this sort are they which creepe into houses, and leade captiue simple women laden with sinnes, and led with diuers lustes,
7 sempre aprendendo e nunca podendo chegar ao conhecimento da verdade.
Which women are euer learning, and are neuer able to come to the acknowledging of the trueth.
8 Mesmo quando Jannes e Jambres se opuseram a Moisés, estes também se opõem à verdade, os homens corrompidos na mente, que no que diz respeito à fé são rejeitados.
And as Iannes and Iambres withstoode Moses, so doe these also resist the trueth, men of corrupt mindes, reprobate concerning the faith.
9 Mas eles não prosseguirão mais. Pois sua loucura será evidente para todos os homens, como a deles também veio a ser.
But they shall preuaile no longer: for their madnesse shalbe euident vnto all men, as theirs also was.
10 Mas vocês seguiram meus ensinamentos, conduta, propósito, fé, paciência, amor, perseverança,
But thou hast fully knowen my doctrine, maner of liuing, purpose, faith, long suffering, loue, patience,
11 perseguições e sofrimentos - as coisas que me aconteceram em Antioquia, Iconium e Lystra. Eu suportei essas perseguições. O Senhor me libertou de todas elas.
Persecutions, and afflictions which came vnto me at Antiochia, at Iconium, and at Lystri, which persecutions I suffered: but from them all the Lord deliuered me.
12 Sim, e todos os que desejam viver piedosamente em Cristo Jesus sofrerão perseguições.
Yea, and all that will liue godly in Christ Iesus, shall suffer persecution.
13 Mas os homens maus e os impostores vão ficar cada vez piores, enganando e sendo enganados.
But the euill men and deceiuers, shall waxe worse and worse, deceiuing, and being deceiued.
14 Mas vocês permanecem nas coisas que aprenderam e de quem aprenderam, sabendo com quem as aprenderam.
But continue thou in the thinges which thou hast learned, and which are committed vnto thee, knowing of who thou hast learned them:
15 Desde a infância, você conhece as Sagradas Escrituras que são capazes de torná-lo sábio para a salvação através da fé que está em Cristo Jesus.
And that thou hast knowen the holy Scriptures of a childe, which are able to make thee wise vnto saluation, through the faith which is in Christ Iesus.
16 Toda Escritura é inspirada por Deus e proveitosa para o ensino, para a repreensão, para a correção e para a instrução em justiça,
For the whole Scripture is giuen by inspiration of God, and is profitable to teache, to conuince, to correct, and to instruct in righteousnesse,
17 para que cada pessoa que pertence a Deus possa ser completa, completamente equipada para cada boa obra.
That the man of God may be absolute, being made perfect vnto all good workes.
