2 Samuel 7
1 Quando o rei vivia em sua casa, e Javé havia lhe dado descanso de todos os seus inimigos ao redor,
Afterwarde when the King sate in his house and the Lord had giuen him rest rounde about from all his enemies,
2 o rei disse ao profeta Natan: “Veja agora, eu moro em uma casa de cedro, mas a arca de Deus mora dentro de cortinas”.
The King saide vnto Nathan the Prophet, Beholde, nowe I dwel in an house of cedar trees, and the Arke of God remayneth within the curtaines.
3 Nathan disse ao rei: “Vá, faça tudo o que está em seu coração, pois Yahweh está com você”.
Then Nathan sayde vnto the King, Go, and doe all that is in thine heart: for the Lord is with thee.
4 Naquela mesma noite, a palavra de Javé veio a Nathan, dizendo:
And the same night the worde of the Lord came vnto Nathan, saying,
5 “Vá e diga ao meu servo David: 'Javé diz: 'Você deveria construir uma casa para eu morar?
Goe and tell my seruant Dauid, Thus saieth the Lord, Shalt thou buylde me an house for my dwelling?
6 Pois eu não vivo em uma casa desde o dia em que tirei os filhos de Israel do Egito, até hoje, mas me mudei em uma tenda e em um tabernáculo”.
For I haue dwelt in no house since the time that I brought the children of Israel out of Egypt vnto this day, but haue walked in a tent and tabernacle.
7 Em todos os lugares em que caminhei com todos os filhos de Israel, eu disse uma palavra a alguém das tribos de Israel a quem ordenei que fosse pastor de meu povo Israel, dizendo: 'Por que não me construiu uma casa de cedro?
In al the places wherein I haue walked with all the children of Israel, spake I one worde with any of the tribes of Israel when I commanded the iudges to feede my people Israel? or sayde I, Why build ye not me an house of cedar trees?
8 Agora, portanto, diga isto ao meu servo David: Yahweh dos Exércitos diz: “Eu o tirei do curral de ovelhas, de seguir as ovelhas, para ser príncipe sobre meu povo, sobre Israel”.
Nowe therefore so say vnto my seruant Dauid, Thus saieth the Lord of hostes, I tooke thee from the sheepecote following the sheepe, that thou mightest bee ruler ouer my people, ouer Israel.
9 Eu estive com você onde quer que você tenha ido, e cortei todos os seus inimigos de antes de você”. Vou fazer de vocês um grande nome, como o nome dos grandes que estão na terra.
And I was with thee wheresoeuer thou hast walked, and haue destroyed all thine enemies out of thy sight, and haue made thee a great name, like vnto the name of the great men that are in the earth.
10 Designarei um lugar para meu povo Israel, e o plantarei, para que ele possa morar em seu próprio lugar e não seja mais movido. Os filhos da maldade não os afligirão mais, como no início,
(Also I will appoynt a place for my people Israel, and will plant it, that they may dwell in a place of their owne, and moue no more, neither shall wicked people trouble them any more as before time,
11 e a partir do dia em que ordenei aos juízes que estivessem sobre meu povo Israel. Farei com que descansem de todos os seus inimigos. Além disso, Javé lhe diz que Javé fará de você uma casa.
And since the time that I set Iudges ouer my people of Israel) and I will giue thee rest from al thine enemies: also the Lord telleth thee, that he will make thee an house.
12 Quando seus dias estiverem cumpridos e você dormir com seus pais, eu farei com que seus descendentes venham atrás de você, que sairá de seu corpo, e estabelecerei seu reino.
And when thy daies bee fulfilled, thou shalt sleepe with thy fathers, and I wil set vp thy seede after thee, which shall proceede out of thy body, and will stablish his kingdome.
13 Ele construirá uma casa em meu nome, e eu estabelecerei o trono de seu reino para sempre.
He shall buyld an house for my Name, and I will stablish ye throne of his kingdome for euer.
14 Eu serei seu pai, e ele será meu filho. Se ele cometer iniqüidade, castigá-lo-ei com a vara dos homens e com as listras dos filhos dos homens;
I will be his father, and hee shall bee my sonne: and if he sinne, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the plagues of the children of men.
15 mas minha bondade amorosa não se afastará dele, como a tirei de Saul, a quem guardei diante de vós.
But my mercy shall not depart away from him, as I tooke it from Saul whome I haue put away before thee.
16 Sua casa e seu reino serão assegurados para sempre diante de você. Vosso trono será estabelecido para sempre”'”.
And thine house shall be stablished and thy kingdome for euer before thee, euen thy throne shalbe stablished for euer.
17 Nathan falou a David todas estas palavras, e de acordo com toda esta visão.
According to all these wordes, and according to all this vision, Nathan spake thus vnto Dauid.
18 Então o rei David entrou e sentou-se diante de Javé; e disse: “Quem sou eu, Senhor Javé, e qual é a minha casa, que o Senhor me trouxe até aqui?
Then King Dauid went in, and sate before the Lord, and sayde, Who am I, O Lord God, and what is mine house, that thou hast brought me hitherto?
19 Isto ainda era uma coisa pequena aos seus olhos, Senhor Javé, mas você também falou da casa de seu servo por um grande tempo; e isto entre os homens, Senhor Javé!
And this was yet a small thing in thy sight, O Lord God, therefore thou hast spoken also of thy seruants house for a great while: but doth this appertaine to man, O Lord God?
20 O que mais David pode dizer a você? Pois você conhece seu servo, Lorde Yahweh.
And what can Dauid say more vnto thee? for thou, Lord God, knowest thy seruant.
21 Por sua palavra, e de acordo com seu próprio coração, você trabalhou toda essa grandeza, para que seu servo a conhecesse.
For thy words sake, and according to thine owne heart hast thou done all these great things, to make them knowen vnto thy seruant.
22 Portanto, você é grande, Senhor Javé Deus. Pois não há ninguém como você, nem há outro Deus além de você, segundo tudo o que ouvimos com nossos ouvidos.
Wherefore thou art great, O Lord God: for there is none like thee, neither is there any God besides thee, according to all that wee haue heard with our eares.
23 Que nação na terra é como teu povo, mesmo como Israel, que Deus foi resgatar para si mesmo por um povo, e fazer para si mesmo um nome, e fazer grandes coisas por ti, e coisas espantosas por tua terra, diante de teu povo, que resgataste para ti mesmo do Egito, das nações e de seus deuses?
And what one people in the earth is like thy people, like Israel? whose God went and redeemed them to himselfe, that they might be his people, and that hee might make him a name, and do for you great things, and terrible for thy land, O Lord, euen for thy people, whome thou redeemedst to thee out of Egypt, from the nations, and their gods?
24 Você estabeleceu para si mesmo seu povo Israel para ser seu povo para sempre; e você, Javé, tornou-se o Deus deles.
For thou hast ordeyned to thy selfe thy people Israel to be thy people for euer: and thou Lord art become their God.
25 “Agora, Javé Deus, a palavra que você falou a respeito de seu servo, e a respeito de sua casa, confirme-a para sempre, e faça como você falou.
Nowe therefore, O Lord God, confirme for euer the word that thou hast spoken concerning thy seruant and his house, and doe as thou hast sayde.
26 Que seu nome seja eternamente engrandecido, dizendo: 'Javé dos Exércitos é Deus sobre Israel; e a casa de seu servo Davi será estabelecida diante de você'.
And let thy Name bee magnified for euer by them that shall say, The Lord of hostes is the God ouer Israel: and let the house of thy seruant Dauid be stablished before thee.
27 Para você, Javé dos Exércitos, o Deus de Israel, revelou a seu servo, dizendo: 'Eu lhe construirei uma casa'. Portanto, seu servo encontrou em seu coração esta oração para rezar a você.
For thou, O Lord of hostes, God of Israel, hast reueiled vnto thy seruant, saying, I will build thee an house: therefore hath thy seruant bene bold to pray this prayer vnto thee.
28 “Agora, ó Senhor Javé, Vós sois Deus, e vossas palavras são verdade, e prometestes este bem a vosso servo.
Therefore now, O Lord God, (for thou art God, and thy words be true, and thou hast tolde this goodnes vnto thy seruant)
29 Agora, portanto, deixai que vos agrade abençoar a casa de vosso servo, para que ela continue para sempre diante de vós; pois vós, Senhor Javé, o dissestes. Que a casa de seu servo seja abençoada para sempre com a sua bênção”.
Therefore nowe let it please thee to blesse the house of thy seruant, that it may continue for euer before thee: for thou, O Lord God, hast spoken it: and let the house of thy seruant be blessed for euer, with thy blessing.
