2 Pedro 2
1 Mas os falsos profetas também surgiram entre o povo, como falsos mestres também estarão entre vocês, que trarão secretamente heresias destrutivas, negando até mesmo o Mestre que os comprou, trazendo sobre si mesmos uma rápida destruição.
Bvt there were false prophets also among the people, euen as there shalbe false teachers among you: which priuily shall bring in damnable heresies, euen denying the Lord, that hath bought them, and bring vpon themselues swift damnation.
2 Muitos seguirão seus caminhos imorais e, como conseqüência, o caminho da verdade será maligno.
And many shall follow their destructions, by whom the way of trueth shalbe euil spoken of,
3 Na cobiça, eles o explorarão com palavras enganosas: cuja sentença de outrora não se prolonga, e sua destruição não adormecerá.
And through couetousnes shall they with fained words make marchandise of you, whose condemnation long since resteth not, and their destruction slumbreth not.
4 Pois se Deus não poupou os anjos quando eles pecaram, mas os lançou no Tártaro, e os comprometeu em poços de escuridão para serem reservados para o julgamento; (Tartaroō g5020)
For if God spared not the Angels that had sinned, but cast them downe into hell, and deliuered them into chaines of darkenes, to be kept vnto damnation: (Tartaroō g5020)
5 e não poupou o mundo antigo, mas preservou Noé com outros sete, um pregador da justiça, quando ele trouxe uma inundação sobre o mundo dos ímpios,
Neither hath spared the olde worlde, but saued Noe the eight person a preacher of righteousnesse, and brought in the flood vpon the world of the vngodly,
6 e transformou as cidades de Sodoma e Gomorra em cinzas, condenou-os à destruição, tendo-os feito um exemplo para aqueles que viveriam de forma ímpia,
And turned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrhe into ashes, condemned them and ouerthrewe them, and made them an ensample vnto them that after should liue vngodly,
7 e entregou Lote justo, que estava muito angustiado com a vida luxuriosa dos ímpios
And deliuered iust Loth vexed with the vncleanly conuersation of the wicked:
8 (pois aquele homem justo que habitava entre eles era atormentado em sua alma justa de dia para dia com ver e ouvir atos sem lei),
(For he being righteous, and dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soule from day to day with their vnlawfull deedes.)
9 então o Senhor sabe como libertar os piedosos da tentação e manter os iníquos sob punição para o dia do julgamento,
The Lord knoweth to deliuer the godly out of tentation, and to reserue the vniust vnto the day of iudgement vnder punishment.
10 mas principalmente aqueles que andam atrás da carne na luxúria da profanação e desprezam a autoridade. Ousados, obstinados, não têm medo de falar mal dos dignitários,
And chiefly them that walke after the flesh, in the lust of vncleannesse, and despise gouernement, which are bolde, and stand in their owne conceite, and feare not to speake euill of them that are in dignitie.
11 enquanto os anjos, embora maiores em força e poder, não trazem um julgamento calunioso contra eles perante o Senhor.
Where as the Angels which are greater both in power and might, giue not railing iudgement against them before the Lord.
12 Mas estes, como criaturas irracionais, nascidos animais naturais para serem tomados e destruídos, falando mal em assuntos sobre os quais são ignorantes, certamente serão destruídos,
But these, as naturall brute beasts, led with sensualitie and made to be taken, and destroyed, speake euill of those things which they know not, and shall perish through their owne corruption,
13 recebendo o salário da injustiça; pessoas que consideram prazer em se divertir durante o dia, manchas e defeitos, se divertindo em seus enganos enquanto se banqueteiam com você;
And shall receiue the wages of vnrighteousnes, as they which count it pleasure dayly to liue deliciously. Spottes they are and blottes, deliting them selues in their deceiuings, in feasting with you,
14 tendo os olhos cheios de adultério, e que não podem cessar de pecar, aliciando almas inquietas, tendo um coração treinado na ganância, filhos amaldiçoados!
Hauing eyes full of adulterie, and that can not cease to sinne, beguiling vnstable soules: they haue heartes exercised with couetousnesse, they are the children of curse:
15 Abandonando o caminho certo, desviaram-se, tendo seguido o caminho de Balaam, o filho de Beor, que amava o salário da injustiça;
Which forsaking the right way, haue gone astray, folowing the way of Balaam, the sonne of Bosor, which loued the wages of vnrighteousnes.
16 mas ele foi repreendido por sua própria desobediência. Um burro sem palavras falou com a voz de um homem e parou a loucura do profeta.
But he was rebuked for his iniquitie: for the dumme beast speaking with mans voyce, forbade the foolishnesse of the Prophet.
17 Estes são poços sem água, nuvens impulsionadas por uma tempestade, para os quais a escuridão das trevas foi reservada para sempre. (questioned)
These are welles without water, and cloudes caried about with a tempest, to whome the blacke darkenes is reserued for euer. (questioned)
18 Pois, proferindo grandes palavras inchadas de vazio, eles seduzem nas luxúrias da carne, pela licenciosidade, aqueles que de fato estão escapando daqueles que vivem no erro;
For in speaking swelling wordes of vanitie, they beguile with wantonnesse through the lusts of the flesh them that were cleane escaped from them which are wrapped in errour,
19 prometendo-lhes liberdade, enquanto eles mesmos são servos da corrupção; pois um homem é levado à escravidão por quem o supera.
Promising vnto them libertie, and are themselues the seruants of corruption: for of whomsoeuer a man is ouercome, euen vnto the same is he in bondage.
20 Pois se, depois de terem escapado da profanação do mundo através do conhecimento do Senhor e Salvador Jesus Cristo, estão novamente enredados nele e vencidos, o último estado se tornou pior para eles do que o primeiro.
For if they, after they haue escaped from the filthinesse of the world, through the acknowledging of the Lord, and of the Sauiour Iesus Christ, are yet tangled againe therein, and ouercome, the latter ende is worse with them then the beginning.
21 Pois seria melhor para eles não terem conhecido o caminho da retidão do que, depois de conhecê-lo, voltarem atrás em relação ao santo mandamento a eles entregue.
For it had bene better for them, not to haue acknowledged the way of righteousnes, then after they haue acknowledged it, to turne from the holy commandement giuen vnto them.
22 Mas isso lhes aconteceu segundo o verdadeiro provérbio: “O cão se volta novamente para seu próprio vômito” e “a porca que se lavou para chafurdar na lama”.
But it is come vnto them, according to the true Prouerbe, The dogge is returned to his owne vomit: and, The sowe that was washed, to the wallowing in the myre.
