2 Crônicas 36
1 Então o povo da terra tomou Jehoahaz, filho de Josias, e o fez rei no lugar de seu pai em Jerusalém.
Then the people of the lande tooke Iehoahaz the sonne of Iosiah, and made him king in his fathers steade in Ierusalem.
2 Joaquim tinha vinte e três anos de idade quando começou a reinar; e reinou três meses em Jerusalém.
Iehoahaz was three and twentie yeere old when he began to reigne, and he reigned three moneths in Ierusalem.
3 O rei do Egito o retirou do cargo em Jerusalém, e multou a terra em cem talentos de prata e um talento de ouro.
And the King of Egypt tooke him away at Ierusalem, and condemned the lande in an hundreth talents of siluer, and a talent of gold.
4 O rei do Egito fez de Eliakim seu irmão rei sobre Judá e Jerusalém, e mudou seu nome para Jehoiakim. Neco levou Joaaz, seu irmão, e o levou para o Egito.
And the King of Egypt made Eliakim his brother King ouer Iudah and Ierusalem, and turned his name to Iehoiakim: and Necho tooke Iehoahaz his brother, and caryed him to Egypt.
5 Jehoiakim tinha vinte e cinco anos de idade quando começou a reinar, e reinou onze anos em Jerusalém. Ele fez o que era mau aos olhos de Iavé, seu Deus.
Iehoiakim was fiue and twentie yeere old, when he began to reigne, and he reigned eleuen yeere in Ierusalem, and did euill in the sight of the Lord his God.
6 Nabucodonosor, rei da Babilônia, enfrentou-o e o amarrou em grilhões para levá-lo à Babilônia.
Against him came vp Nebuchadnezzar King of Babel, and bounde him with chaines to cary him to Babel.
7 Nabucodonosor também levou alguns dos vasos da casa de Iavé para Babilônia, e os colocou em seu templo na Babilônia.
Nebuchadnezzar also caryed of the vessels of the house of the Lord to Babel, and put them in his temple at Babel.
8 Agora o resto dos atos de Jeoiaquim, e suas abominações que ele fez, e o que foi encontrado nele, eis que estão escritos no livro dos reis de Israel e Judá; e Jeoiaquim, seu filho, reinou em seu lugar.
Concerning the rest of the actes of Iehoiakim, and his abominations which he did, and that which was founde vpon him, behold, they are written in the booke of the Kings of Israel and Iudah, and Iehoiachin his sonne reigned in his stead.
9 Jehoiachin tinha oito anos quando começou a reinar, e reinou três meses e dez dias em Jerusalém. Ele fez o que era mau aos olhos de Iavé.
Iehoiachin was eight yeere olde when he beganne to reigne, and he reigned three moneths and ten dayes in Ierusalem, and did euill in the sight of the Lord.
10 No retorno do ano, o rei Nabucodonosor o enviou e o trouxe à Babilônia, com os valiosos vasos da casa de Iavé, e fez de Zedequias seu irmão rei sobre Judá e Jerusalém.
And when the yeere was out, King Nebuchadnezzar sent and brought him to Babel with the precious vessels of the house of the Lord, and he made Zedekiah his brother King ouer Iudah and Ierusalem.
11 Zedequias tinha vinte e um anos de idade quando começou a reinar, e reinou onze anos em Jerusalém.
Zedekiah was one and twentie yeere olde, when he beganne to reigne, and reigned eleuen yeere in Ierusalem.
12 Ele fez o que era mau aos olhos de Iavé seu Deus. Ele não se humilhou diante de Jeremias, o profeta, falando da boca de Iavé.
And he did euill in the sight of the Lord his God, and humbled not himselfe before Ieremiah the Prophet at the commandement of the Lord,
13 Ele também se rebelou contra o rei Nabucodonosor, que o tinha feito jurar por Deus; mas endureceu seu pescoço, e endureceu seu coração contra voltar-se para Iavé, o Deus de Israel.
But he rebelled moreouer against Nebuchadnezzar, which had caused him to sweare by God: and he hardened his necke and made his heart obstinate that he might not returne to the Lord God of Israel.
14 Além disso, todos os chefes dos sacerdotes e do povo transgrediram muito depois de todas as abominações das nações; e poluíram a casa de Iavé, que ele havia santificado em Jerusalém.
All the chiefe of the Priestes also and of the people trespassed wonderfully, according to all the abominations of the heathen, and polluted the house of the Lord which he had sanctified in Ierusalem.
15 Yahweh, o Deus de seus pais, enviado a eles por seus mensageiros, levantando-se cedo e enviando, porque tinha compaixão de seu povo e de sua morada;
Therefore the Lord God of their fathers sent to them by his messengers, rising earely and sending: for he had compassion on his people, and on his habitation.
16 mas eles zombavam dos mensageiros de Deus, desprezavam suas palavras e zombavam de seus profetas, até que a ira de Yahweh surgiu contra seu povo, até que não houve remédio.
But they mocked the messengers of God and despised his wordes, and misused his Prophets, vntill the wrath of the Lord arose against his people, and till there was no remedie.
17 Therefore ele trouxe sobre eles o rei dos caldeus, que matou seus jovens com a espada na casa de seu santuário, e não teve compaixão do jovem ou virgem, velho ou enfermo. Ele os entregou a todos em suas mãos.
For he brought vpon them the King of the Caldeans, who slewe their yong men with the sworde in the house of their Sanctuarie, and spared neither yong man, nor virgin, ancient, nor aged. God gaue all into his hande,
18 Todos os vasos da casa de Deus, grandes e pequenos, e os tesouros da casa de Javé, e os tesouros do rei e de seus príncipes, tudo isso ele trouxe para a Babilônia.
And all the vessels of the house of God great and small, and the treasures of the house of the Lord, and the treasures of the King, and of his princes: all these caryed he to Babel.
19 Eles queimaram a casa de Deus, derrubaram o muro de Jerusalém, queimaram todos os seus palácios com fogo, e destruíram todos os seus valiosos vasos.
And they burnt the house of God, and brake downe the wall of Ierusalem, and burnt all the palaces thereof with fire, and all the precious vessels thereof, to destroy all.
20 Ele levou aqueles que haviam escapado da espada para Babilônia, e eles foram servos para ele e seus filhos até o reinado do reino da Pérsia,
And they that were left by the sworde, caryed he away to Babel, and they were seruants to him and to his sonnes, vntill the kingdome of the Persians had rule,
21 para cumprir a palavra de Javé pela boca de Jeremias, até que a terra tivesse desfrutado de seus sábados. Desde que se desolou, ela guardou o sábado, para cumprir setenta anos.
To fulfill the worde of the Lord by the mouth of Ieremiah, vntill the lande had her fill of her Sabbaths: for all the dayes that she lay desolate, she kept Sabbath, to fulfill seuentie yeeres.
22 Agora no primeiro ano de Ciro, rei da Pérsia, para que a palavra de Javé pela boca de Jeremias pudesse ser cumprida, Javé despertou o espírito de Ciro, rei da Pérsia, para que ele fizesse uma proclamação por todo o seu reino, e a colocasse também por escrito, dizendo:
But in the first yeere of Cyrus King of Persia (when the worde of the Lord, spoken by the mouth of Ieremiah, was finished) the Lord stirred vp the spirit of Cyrus King of Persia, and he made a proclamation through all his kingdome, and also by writing, saying,
23 “Ciro, rei da Pérsia, diz: “Javé, o Deus do céu, deu-me todos os reinos da terra; e me ordenou que lhe construísse uma casa em Jerusalém, que é em Judá”. Quem quer que haja entre vós de todo seu povo, Javé, seu Deus, esteja com ele, e o deixe subir”.
Thus saith Cyrus King of Persia, All the kingdomes of the earth hath the Lord God of heauen giuen me, and hath commanded me to build him an house in Ierusalem, that is in Iudah. Who is among you of all his people, with whom the Lord his God is? let him goe vp.
