1 Crônicas 29
1 David o rei disse a toda a assembléia: “Salomão meu filho, a quem só Deus escolheu, ainda é jovem e terno, e a obra é grande; pois o palácio não é para o homem, mas para Javé Deus”.
And king David said to all the assembly: Solomon my son, whom alone God hath chosen, is as yet young and tender: and the work is great, for a house is prepared not for man, but for God.
2 Now Preparei com todas as minhas forças para a casa de meu Deus o ouro para as coisas de ouro, a prata para as coisas de prata, o bronze para as coisas de bronze, o ferro para as coisas de ferro, e a madeira para as coisas de madeira, também pedras de ônix, pedras para fixar, pedras para trabalhos incrustadas de várias cores, todos os tipos de pedras preciosas, e pedras de mármore em abundância.
And I with all my ability have prepared the expenses for the house of my God. Gold for vessels of gold, and silver for vessels of silver, brass for things of brass, iron for things of iron, wood for things of wood: and onyx stones, and stones like alabaster, and of divers colours, and all manner of precious stones, and marble of Paros in great abundance.
3 Além disso, por ter colocado meu afeto na casa de meu Deus, já que tenho um tesouro próprio de ouro e prata, dou-o à casa de meu Deus, acima de tudo o que preparei para a casa santa:
Now over and above the things which I have offered into the house of my God I give of my own proper goods, gold and silver for the temple of my God, beside what things I have prepared for the holy house.
4 até mesmo três mil talentos de ouro, do ouro de Ophir e sete mil talentos de prata refinada, com os quais sobrepor as paredes das casas;
Three thousand talents of gold of the gold of Ophir: and seven thousand talents of refined silver, to overlay the walls of the temple.
5 de ouro para as coisas de ouro, e de prata para as coisas de prata, e para todo tipo de trabalho a ser feito pelas mãos de artesãos. Quem então se oferece voluntariamente para consagrar-se hoje a Yahweh”?
And gold for wheresoever there is need of gold: and silver for wheresoever there is need of silver, for the works to be made by the hands of the artificers: now if any man is willing to offer, let him fill his hand today, and offer what he pleaseth to the Lord.
6 Então os príncipes das famílias dos pais, e os príncipes das tribos de Israel, e os capitães de milhares e centenas, com os governantes sobre o trabalho do rei, ofereceram voluntariamente;
Then the heads of the families, and the princes of the tribes of Israel, and the captains of thousands, and of hundreds, and the overseers of the king’s possessions promised,
7 e deram para o serviço da casa de Deus de ouro cinco mil talentos e dez mil daricos, de prata dez mil talentos, de bronze dezoito mil talentos, e de ferro cem mil talentos.
And they gave for the works of the house of the Lord, of gold, five thousand talents, and ten thousand solids: of silver ten thousand talents: and of brass eighteen thousand talents: and of iron a hundred thousand talents.
8 People com quem foram encontradas pedras preciosas deu-as ao tesouro da casa de Iavé, sob a mão de Jeiel, o Gershonita.
And all they that had stones, gave them to the treasures of the house of the Lord, by the hand of Jahiel the Gersonite.
9 Então o povo se regozijou, porque se ofereceu de bom grado, porque com um coração perfeito se ofereceu de bom grado a Javé; e David, o rei, também se regozijou com grande alegria.
And the people rejoiced, when they promised their offerings willingly: because they offered them to the Lord with all their heart: and David the king rejoiced also with a great joy.
10 Portanto, Davi abençoou Javé perante toda a assembléia; e Davi disse: “Tu és abençoado, Javé, o Deus de Israel, nosso pai, para todo o sempre”.
And he blessed the Lord before all the multitude, and he said: Blessed art thou, O Lord the God of Israel, our father from eternity to eternity.
11 Yours, Iavé, é a grandeza, o poder, a glória, a vitória e a majestade! Pois tudo o que está nos céus e na terra é seu. Teu é o reino, Yahweh, e és exaltado como cabeça acima de tudo.
Thine, O Lord, is magnificence, and power, and glory, and victory: and to thee is praise: for all that is in heaven, and in earth, is thine: thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and thou art above all princes.
12 Tanto a riqueza como a honra vêm de você, e você governa sobre todos! Na tua mão está o poder e a força! Está em tua mão fazer grande e dar força a todos!
Thine are riches, and thine is glory, thou hast dominion over all, in thy hand is power and might: in thy hand greatness, and the empire of all things.
13 Agora, portanto, nosso Deus, agradecemos-lhe e louvamos seu glorioso nome.
Now therefore our God we give thanks to thee, and we praise thy glorious name.
14 Mas quem sou eu, e o que é meu povo, que devemos ser capazes de oferecer tão voluntariamente como isto? Pois tudo vem de você, e nós lhe demos o que é seu.
Who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to promise thee all these things? all things are thine: and we have given thee what we received of thy hand.
15 Pois somos estranhos diante de vocês e estrangeiros, como todos os nossos pais foram. Nossos dias na terra são como uma sombra, e não há mais nenhum remanescente.
For we are sojourners before thee, and strangers, as were all our fathers. Our days upon earth are as a shadow, and there is no stay.
16 Yahweh nosso Deus, toda esta loja que preparamos para construir-lhe uma casa para seu santo nome vem de sua mão, e é toda sua.
O Lord our God, all this store that we have prepared to build thee a house for thy holy name, is from thy hand, and all things are thine.
17 Eu sei também, meu Deus, que você experimenta o coração e tem prazer na retidão. Quanto a mim, na retidão do meu coração, ofereci todas estas coisas de bom grado. Agora vi com alegria seu povo, que está aqui presente, oferecer voluntariamente a você.
I know my God that thou provest hearts, and lovest simplicity, wherefore I also in the simplicity of my heart, have joyfully offered all these things: and I have seen with great joy thy people, which are here present, offer thee their offerings.
18 Javé, o Deus de Abraão, de Isaac, e de Israel, nossos pais, guarda para sempre este desejo nos pensamentos do coração de teu povo, e prepara o coração deles para ti;
O Lord God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Israel our fathers, keep for ever this will of their heart, and let this mind remain always for the worship of thee.
19 e dá a Salomão meu filho um coração perfeito, para guardar teus mandamentos, teus testemunhos e teus estatutos, e para fazer todas estas coisas, e para construir o palácio, para o qual eu providenciei”.
And give to Solomon my son a perfect heart, that he may keep thy commandments, thy testimonies, and thy ceremonies, and do all things: and build the house, for which I have provided the charges.
20 Então David disse a toda a assembléia: “Agora abençoe Yahweh seu Deus”! Toda a assembléia abençoou Javé, o Deus de seus pais, e se inclinaram e se prostraram diante de Javé e do rei.
And David commanded all the assembly: Bless ye the Lord our God. And all the assembly blessed the Lord the God of their fathers: and they bowed themselves and worshipped God, and then the king.
21 Eles sacrificaram sacrifícios a Iavé e ofereceram holocaustos a Iavé no dia seguinte, mesmo mil touros, mil carneiros e mil cordeiros, com suas ofertas de bebida e sacrifícios em abundância por todo Israel,
And they sacrificed victims to the Lord: and they offered holocausts the next day, a thousand bullocks, a thousand rams, a thousand lambs, with their libations, and with every thing prescribed most abundantly for all Israel.
22 e comeram e beberam diante de Iavé naquele dia com grande alegria. Eles fizeram de Salomão o filho de Davi rei pela segunda vez, e o ungiram diante de Iavé para ser príncipe, e Zadoque para ser sacerdote.
And they ate, and drank before the Lord that day with great joy. And they anointed the second time Solomon the son of David. And they anointed him to the Lord to be prince, and Sadoc to be high priest.
23 Então Salomão sentou-se no trono de Iavé como rei em vez de Davi, seu pai, e prosperou; e todo Israel lhe obedeceu.
And Solomon sat on the throne of the Lord as king instead of David his father, and he pleased all: and all Israel obeyed him.
24 Todos os príncipes, os homens poderosos e também todos os filhos do rei Davi se submeteram ao rei Salomão.
And all the princes, and men of power, and all the sons of king David gave their hand, and were subject to Solomon the king.
25 Yahweh engrandeceu Salomão de forma extraordinária aos olhos de todo o Israel, e lhe deu a majestade real que não havia sido sobre nenhum rei antes dele em Israel.
And the Lord magnified Solomon over all Israel: and gave him the glory of a reign, such as no king of Israel had before him.
26 Now David, o filho de Jesse, reinou sobre todo Israel.
So David the son of Isai reigned over all Israel.
27 O tempo em que ele reinou sobre Israel foi quarenta anos; ele reinou sete anos em Hebron, e ele reinou trinta e três anos em Jerusalém.
And the days that he reigned over Israel, were forty years: in Hebron he reigned seven years, and in Jerusalem three and thirty years.
28 Morreu com uma boa velhice, cheio de dias, riqueza e honra; e Salomão, seu filho, reinou em seu lugar.
And he died in a good age, full of days, and riches, and glory. And Solomon his son reigned in his stead.
29 Agora os atos do rei Davi, primeiro e último, eis que estão escritos na história de Samuel, o vidente, e na história de Natã, o profeta, e na história de Gad, o vidente,
Now the acts of king David first and last are written in the book of Samuel the seer, and in the book of Nathan the prophet, and in the book of Gad the seer:
30 com todo seu reinado e seu poder, e os eventos que o envolveram, Israel, e todos os reinos das terras.
And of all his reign, and his valour, and of the times that passed under him, either in Israel, or in all the kingdoms of the countries.
