1 Crônicas 28

1 Davi reuniu todos os príncipes de Israel, os príncipes das tribos, os capitães das companhias que serviam ao rei por divisão, os capitães de milhares, os capitães de centenas e os governantes sobre toda a substância e posses do rei e de seus filhos, com os oficiais e os poderosos, até mesmo todos os poderosos homens de valor, em Jerusalém.

And David assembled all the princes of Israel, the princes of the tribes, and the captains of the divisions that ministered to the king, and the captains of the thousands, and the captains of the hundreds, and the rulers of all the property and the cattle of the king and of his sons, with the court-servants, and the mighty men, and with all the valiant men of the army, unto Jerusalem.

2 Então o rei Davi levantou-se de pé e disse: “Escutem-me, meus irmãos e meu povo! Quanto a mim, estava em meu coração construir uma casa de repouso para a arca da aliança de Javé, e para o escabelo de nosso Deus; e eu tinha me preparado para a construção.

Then arose king David upon his feet, and said, Hear me, my brethren, and my people! I had in my heart to build a house of rest for the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and for the footstool of our God, and I had made preparations to build;

3 Mas Deus me disse: 'Você não construirá uma casa em meu nome, porque é um homem de guerra e derramou sangue'.

But God said unto me, Thou shalt not build a house unto my name; because thou art a man of war, and blood hast thou shed.

4 However Javé, o Deus de Israel, me escolheu de toda a casa de meu pai para ser rei sobre Israel para sempre. Pois ele escolheu Judá para ser príncipe; e na casa de Judá, a casa de meu pai; e entre os filhos de meu pai ele teve prazer em mim para me fazer rei sobre todo Israel.

Yet the Lord the God of Israel made choice of me out of all the house of my father to be king over Israel for ever; for of Judah had he made choice as ruler, and among the house of Judah, of the house of my father; and among the sons of my father had he pleasure in me to make [me] king over all Israel:

5 De todos os meus filhos (pois Javé me deu muitos filhos), ele escolheu Salomão meu filho para sentar-se no trono do reino de Javé sobre Israel.

And of all my sons, —for the Lord hath given me many sons, — hath he made choice of Solomon my son, to sit upon the throne of the kingdom of the Lord over Israel.

6 Ele me disse: 'Salomão, seu filho, construirá minha casa e minha corte; pois o escolhi para ser meu filho, e eu serei seu pai'.

And he hath said unto me, Solomon thy son it is that shall build my house and my courts; for I have made choice of him to be as a son unto me, and I will be indeed to him as a father.

7 Estabelecerei seu reino para sempre, se ele continuar a cumprir meus mandamentos e minhas ordenanças, como é hoje”.

Moreover, I will firmly establish his kingdom for everlasting, if he be strong to execute my commandments and my ordinances as it is this day.

8 Agora, portanto, diante de todo Israel, a assembléia de Iavé, e na audiência de nosso Deus, observe e busque todos os mandamentos de Iavé seu Deus, para que possua esta boa terra, e a deixe para sempre por herança a seus filhos depois de você.

And now before the eyes of all Israel, the congregation of the Lord, and in the hearing of our God, [I admonish you] observe and seek for all the commandments of the Lord your God: in order that ye may keep possession of this good land, and leave it for an inheritance unto your children after you forever.

9 Você, meu filho Salomão, conhece o Deus de seu pai e o serve com um coração perfeito e com uma mente disposta; pois Javé busca todos os corações e compreende todas as imaginações dos pensamentos. Se o buscardes, ele será encontrado por vós; mas se o abandonardes, ele vos abandonará para sempre.

And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with an entire heart and with a willing soul; for all hearts doth the Lord search, and every imagination of the thoughts doth he understand; if thou seek him, he will let himself be found by thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.

10 Preste atenção agora, pois Javé o escolheu para construir uma casa para o santuário. Seja forte, e faça-o”.

See now that the Lord hath made choice of thee to build a house for the sanctuary: be strong and do it.

11 Então David deu a Salomão seu filho os planos para o alpendre do templo, para suas casas, para seus tesouros, para seus quartos superiores, para seus quartos interiores, para o lugar do propiciatório;

Then gave David to Solomon his son the pattern of the porch, and of its apartments, and of its treasuries, and of upper chambers, and of its inner chambers, and of the place of the cover of the ark.

12 e os planos de tudo o que ele tinha pelo Espírito, para as cortes da casa de Javé, para todos os quartos vizinhos, para os tesouros da casa de Deus, e para os tesouros das coisas dedicadas;

And the pattern of all that he had in his spirit, concerning the courts of the house of the Lord, and concerning all the chambers round about, concerning the treasuries of the house of God, and concerning the treasuries of the holy things:

13 também para as divisões dos sacerdotes e levitas, para todo o trabalho do serviço da casa de Iavé, e para todos os vasos de serviço da casa de Iavé -

Also concerning the divisions of the priests and the Levites, and concerning all the work of the service of the house of the Lord, and concerning all the vessels of service of the house of the Lord;

14 de ouro por peso para o ouro para todos os vasos de todo tipo de serviço, para todos os vasos de prata por peso, para todos os vasos de todo tipo de serviço;

Concerning the golden vessels, after the weight of the gold, for all the vessels of all manner of service; concerning all the vessels of silver after the weight, for all the vessels of every kind of service;

15 por peso também para as bancadas de ouro, e para suas lâmpadas, de ouro, por peso para cada bancada de lâmpadas e para suas lâmpadas; e para as bancadas de prata, por peso para cada bancada de lâmpadas e para suas lâmpadas, de acordo com o uso de cada bancada de lâmpadas;

Also the weight for the candlesticks of gold, and for their lamps of gold, after the weight for every candlestick, and for its lamps; and concerning the candlesticks of silver after the weight, for the candlestick, and for its lamps, according to the use of every candlestick;

16 e o ouro por peso para as mesas de pão de exposição, para cada mesa; e a prata para as mesas de prata;

And the gold after the weight for the tables of the rows of shewbread, for every table; and the silver for the tables of silver;

17 e os garfos, as bacias e as taças de ouro puro; e para as taças de ouro por peso para cada taça; e para as taças de prata por peso para cada taça;

Also [concerning] the forks, and the bowls, and the supporters of pure gold; and concerning the golden cups after the weight for every cup; and concerning the silver cups after the weight for every cup;

18 e para o altar de incenso, ouro refinado por peso; e ouro para as plantas da carruagem, e os querubins que se espalham e cobrem a arca do pacto de Yahweh.

And concerning the altar of incense the refined gold after the weight; and concerning the pattern of the chariot of the golden cherubim, which spread out [their wings], and over the ark of the covenant of the Lord.

19 “Tudo isto”, disse David, “Fui levado a entender por escrito da mão de Iavé, mesmo todos os trabalhos deste padrão”.

All [this, said David, ] was put in writing from the hand of the Lord, who gave me instruction [respecting] all the works of the pattern.

20 David disse a Salomão seu filho: “Seja forte e corajoso, e faça-o”. Não tenha medo, nem se assuste, pois Javé Deus, mesmo meu Deus, está com você”. Ele não vos falhará nem vos abandonará, até que todo o trabalho para o serviço da casa de Iavé esteja terminado.

And David said to Solomon his son, Be strong, and of good courage, and do [the work]; fear not, and be not dismayed; for the Lord God, [yea, ] my God is with thee: he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee, until thou have finished all the work for the service of the house of the Lord.

21 Eis que existem as divisões dos sacerdotes e dos levitas para todo o serviço da casa de Deus. Todo homem disposto que tiver habilidade para qualquer tipo de serviço estará com você em todos os tipos de trabalho. Também os capitães e todo o povo estarão inteiramente a seu comando”.

And, behold, the divisions of the priests and the Levites are there for all the service of the house of God; and with thee are in all manner of workmanship all kinds of men distinguished in wisdom, for every manner of service; and the princes and all the people are ready [to obey] all thy words.
