1 Crônicas 27
1 Agora os filhos de Israel após seu número, os chefes de família dos pais e os capitães de milhares e centenas, e seus oficiais que serviram ao rei em qualquer questão das divisões que entraram e saíram mês a mês durante todos os meses do ano de cada divisão eram vinte e quatro mil.
This is the list of the Israelite family leaders, commanders of thousands and hundreds, as well as army officers who served the king in various ways. Each military division served month by month throughout the year. Each division had twenty-four thousand men.
2 Durante a primeira divisão no primeiro mês foi Jashobeam, o filho de Zabdiel. Em sua divisão eram vinte e quatro mil.
Over the division for the first month was Jashobeam son of Zabdiel. In his division were twenty-four thousand men.
3 Ele era dos filhos de Perez, o chefe de todos os capitães do exército para o primeiro mês.
He was among the descendants of Perez and in charge of all the army officers for the first month.
4 Sobre a divisão do segundo mês estava Dodai, o Ahohite, e sua divisão, e Mikloth, o governante; e em sua divisão eram vinte e quatro mil.
Over the division for the second month was Dodai, from the clan descended from Ahoah. Mikloth was second in rank. In his division were twenty-four thousand men.
5 O terceiro capitão do exército para o terceiro mês foi Benaiah, o filho de Jehoiada, o chefe dos sacerdotes. Em sua divisão eram vinte e quatro mil.
The commander of the army for the third month was Benaiah son of Jehoiada, a priest and leader. In his division were twenty-four thousand men.
6 Este é aquele Benaías que era o homem poderoso dos trinta e mais de trinta. De sua divisão, Ammizabad era seu filho.
This is the Benaiah who was the leader of the thirty, and over the thirty. Ammizabad his son was in his division.

The commander for the seventh month was Helez the Pelonite, from the people of Ephraim. In his division were twenty-four thousand men.
11 O oitavo capitão para o oitavo mês foi Sibbecai o Hushathite, dos Zerahitas. Em sua divisão eram vinte e quatro mil.
The commander for the eighth month was Sibbekai the Hushathite, from the clan descended from Zerah. In his division were twenty-four thousand men.
12 O nono capitão do nono mês era Abiezer, o Anatotita, dos Benjamitas. Em sua divisão eram vinte e quatro mil.
The commander for the ninth month was Abiezer the Anathothite, from the tribe of Benjamin. In his division were twenty-four thousand men.
13 O décimo capitão do décimo mês foi Maharai, o netofatita, dos zerahitas. Em sua divisão eram vinte e quatro mil.
The commander for the tenth month was Maharai from the city of Netophah, from the clan descended from Zerah. In his division were twenty-four thousand men.
14 O décimo primeiro capitão do décimo primeiro mês foi Benaiah, o Piratonita, dos filhos de Efraim. Em sua divisão eram vinte e quatro mil.
The commander for the eleventh month was Benaiah from the city of Pirathon, from the tribe of Ephraim. In his division were twenty-four thousand men.
15 O décimo segundo capitão para o décimo segundo mês foi Heldai, o Netofatítico, de Othniel. Em sua divisão eram vinte e quatro mil.
The commander for the twelfth month was Heldai from the city of Netophah, from the clan descended from Othniel. In his division were twenty-four thousand men.
16 Furthermore sobre as tribos de Israel: dos rubenitas, Eliezer o filho de Zicri era o governante; dos simeonitas, Sefatias o filho de Maaca;
These were the leaders of the tribes of Israel: For the tribe of Reuben, Eliezer son of Zichri was the leader. For the tribe of Simeon, Shephatiah son of Maacah was the leader.

For the tribe of Levi, Hashabiah son of Kemuel was the leader, and Zadok led Aaron's descendants.

23 Mas David não levou o número deles de vinte anos ou menos, porque Javé tinha dito que aumentaria Israel como as estrelas do céu.
David did not count those twenty years old or younger, because Yahweh had promised to increase Israel like the stars of heaven.

Joab son of Zeruiah began to count the men, but did not finish. Wrath fell on Israel for this. This number was not written down in the Chronicles of King David.
25 Sobre os tesouros do rei estava Azmaveth, o filho de Adiel. Sobre os tesouros nos campos, nas cidades, nas aldeias e nas torres estava Jonathan, filho de Uzziah;
Azmaveth son of Adiel was in charge of the king's treasuries. Jonathan son of Uzziah was over the storehouses in the fields, in the cities, and in the villages, and in the fortified towers.
26 Sobre aqueles que faziam o trabalho do campo para a lavoura do solo estava Ezri, filho de Chelub.
Ezri son of Kelub was over the farmers, those who plowed the land.
27 Sobre os vinhedos estava Shimei, o Ramathite. Sobre o aumento dos vinhedos para as adegas estava Zabdi, o Sifmita.
Shimei the Ramathite was over the vineyards, and Zabdi the Shiphmite was over the grapes and the wine cellars.
28 Sobre as oliveiras e os sicômoros que estavam nas terras baixas estava Baal Hanan, o Gederite. Sobre as adegas de azeite estava o Joash.
Over the olive trees and the sycamore trees that were in the lowlands was Baal-Hanan from Geder, and over the storehouses of oil was Joash.
29 Sobre os rebanhos que se alimentavam em Sharon estava Shitrai, a Sharonita. Sobre os rebanhos que estavam nos vales estava Shaphat, o filho de Adlai.
Over the herds that were pastured in Sharon was Shitrai from Sharon, and over the herds that were in the valleys was Shaphat son of Adlai.
30 Sobre os camelos estava Obil, o ismaelita. Sobre os burros estava Jehdeiah, o Meronotíta. Sobre os rebanhos estava Jaziz, o Hagita.
Over the camels was Obil the Ishmaelite, and over the female donkeys was Jehdeiah from Meronoth. Over the flocks was Jaziz the Hagrite.
31 Todos estes eram os governantes da propriedade que era do rei David.
Jaziz the Hagrite was in charge of the flocks. All these officials were in charge of the property of King David.
32 Também Jonathan, tio de David, era um conselheiro, um homem de entendimento e um escriba. Jehiel, o filho de Hachmoni, estava com os filhos do rei.
Jonathan, David's uncle, was an advisor, since he was a wise man and a scribe. Jehiel son of Hakmoni cared for the king's sons.
33 Ahithophel era o conselheiro do rei. Hushai, o Arquiteto, era o amigo do rei.
Ahithophel was the king's advisor, and Hushai from the Arkite people was the king's private advisor.
34 Depois de Ahithophel foi Jehoiada, filho de Benaia, e Abiathar. Joab era o capitão do exército do rei.
Ahithophel's position was taken by Jehoiada son of Benaiah, and by Abiathar. Joab was commander of the king's army.
