1 Crônicas 11
1 Então todo Israel se reuniu a David em Hebron, dizendo: “Eis que nós somos seus ossos e sua carne.
Then all Israel gathered themselues to Dauid vnto Hebron, saying, Beholde, we are thy bones and thy flesh.
2 Em tempos passados, mesmo quando Saul era rei, foi você quem conduziu e trouxe para Israel. Javé teu Deus te disse: “Serás pastor do meu povo Israel, e serás príncipe sobre o meu povo Israel”.
And in time past, euen when Saul was King, thou leddest Israel out and in: and the Lord thy God sayde vnto thee, Thou shalt feede my people Israel, and thou shalt be captaine ouer my people Israel.
3 Então todos os anciãos de Israel vieram ao rei em Hebron; e Davi fez um pacto com eles em Hebron antes de Yahweh. Eles ungiram Davi rei sobre Israel, de acordo com a palavra de Iavé por Samuel.
So came all the Elders of Israel to the King to Hebron, and Dauid made a couenant with them in Hebron before the Lord. And they anoynted Dauid King ouer Israel, according to the word of the Lord by the hand of Samuel.
4 David e todo Israel foram a Jerusalém (também chamada Jebus); e os jebusitas, os habitantes da terra, estavam lá.
And Dauid and all Israel went to Ierusalem, which is Iebus, where were the Iebusites, the inhabitants of the land.
5 Os habitantes de Jebus disseram a Davi: “Você não entrará aqui”! No entanto, Davi tomou o bastião de Sião. A mesma é a cidade de Davi.
And the inhabitants of Iebus said to Dauid, Thou shalt not come in hither. Neuertheles Dauid tooke the towre of Zion, which is the city of Dauid.
6 David tinha dito: “Quem atacar primeiro os jebuseus será chefe e capitão”. Joab, filho de Zeruia, subiu primeiro, e foi nomeado chefe.
And Dauid sayd, Whosoeuer smiteth the Iebusites first, shalbe the chiefe and captaine. So Ioab the sonne of Zeruiah went first vp, and was captaine.
7 Davi vivia na fortaleza; por isso lhe chamavam a cidade de Davi.
And Dauid dwelt in the tower: therefore they called it the citie of Dauid.
8 Ele construiu a cidade ao redor, desde Millo até mesmo ao redor; e Joabe reparou o resto da cidade.
And he built the citie on euery side, from Millo euen round about, and Ioab repaired the rest of the citie.
9 David cresceu cada vez mais, pois Yahweh de Exércitos estava com ele.
And Dauid prospered, and grewe: for the Lord of hostes was with him.
10 Now estes são os chefes dos homens poderosos que David teve, que se mostraram fortes com ele em seu reino, junto com todo Israel, para fazê-lo rei, de acordo com a palavra de Iavé a respeito de Israel.
These also are the chiefe of the valiant men that were with Dauid, and ioyned their force with him in his kingdome with al Israel, to make him King ouer Israel, according to the worde of the Lord.
11 Este é o número dos homens poderosos que David tinha: Jashobeam, o filho de um hachmonita, o chefe dos trinta; ele levantou sua lança contra trezentos e os matou de uma só vez.
And this is the nomber of the valiant men whome Dauid had, Iashobeam the sonne of Hachmoni, the chiefe among thirtie: he lift vp his speare against three hundreth, whom he slewe at one time.
12 Depois dele foi Eleazar, o filho de Dodo, o Ahohite, que era um dos três homens poderosos.
And after him was Eleazar the sonne of Dodo the Ahohite, which was one of the three valiant men.
13 Ele estava com David em Pasdammim, e ali os filisteus estavam reunidos para a batalha, onde havia um terreno cheio de cevada; e o povo fugiu de antes dos filisteus.
He was with Dauid at Pas-dammim, and there the Philistims were gathered together to battel: and there was a parcell of ground full of barley, and the people fled before the Philistims.
14 Eles ficaram no meio da trama, defenderam-na e mataram os filisteus; e Yahweh os salvou com uma grande vitória.
And they stood in the middes of the field, and saued it, and slewe the Philistims: so the Lord gaue a great victorie.
15 Três dos trinta chefes desceram à rocha para David, na caverna de Adullam; e o exército dos filisteus estava acampado no vale de Rephaim.
And three of the thirtie captaines went to a rocke to Dauid, into the caue of Adullam. And the armie of the Philistims camped in the valley of Rephaim.
16 David estava então na fortaleza, e a guarnição dos filisteus estava em Belém naquela época.
And when Dauid was in the hold, the Philistims garison was at Beth-lehem.
17 David ansiava, e disse: “Oh, que alguém me desse água para beber do poço de Belém, que está junto ao portão”!
And Dauid longed, and said, Oh, that one would giue me to drinke of the water of the well of Beth-lehem that is at the gate.
18 Os três romperam o exército dos filisteus e tiraram água do poço de Belém que estava junto ao portão, tomaram-na e trouxeram-na a David; mas David não quis beber nada dela, mas derramou-a para Iavé,
Then these three brake thorowe the hoste of the Philistims, and drewe water out of the well of Beth-lehem that was by the gate, and tooke it and brought it to Dauid: but Dauid would not drinke of it, but powred it for an oblation to the Lord,
19 e disse: “Meu Deus me livre, que eu faça isso! Devo beber o sangue destes homens que colocaram suas vidas em perigo?” Pois eles arriscaram suas vidas para trazê-lo. Portanto, ele não o beberia. Os três homens poderosos fizeram estas coisas.
And said, Let not my God suffer me to do this: should I drinke the blood of these mens liues? for they haue brought it with the ieopardie of their liues: therefore he would not drinke it: these things did these three mightie men.
20 Abishai, o irmão de Joab, era o chefe dos três; pois ele levantou sua lança contra trezentos e os matou, e tinha um nome entre os três.
And Abishai the brother of Ioab, he was chiefe of the three, and he lift vp his speare against three hundreth, and slew them, and had the name among the three.
21 Dos três, ele era mais honrado que os dois, e foi nomeado seu capitão; no entanto, ele não foi incluído nos três.
Among the three he was more honourable then the two, and he was their captaine: but he attained not vnto the first three.
22 Benaiah, filho de Jehoiada, filho de um valente homem de Kabzeel, que tinha feito grandes feitos, matou os dois filhos de Ariel de Moab. Ele também desceu e matou um leão no meio de um poço em um dia de neve.
Benaiah the sonne of Iehoiada (the sonne of a valiant man) which had done many actes, and was of Kabzeel, he slewe two strong men of Moab: he went downe also and slewe a lion in the middes of a pit in time of snowe.
23 Ele matou um egípcio, um homem de grande estatura, de cinco côvados de altura. Na mão do egípcio estava uma lança como uma trave de tecelão; e desceu até ele com um bastão, arrancou a lança da mão do egípcio, e o matou com sua própria lança.
And he slewe an Egyptian, a man of great stature, euen fiue cubites long, and in the Egyptians hand was a speare like a weauers beame: and he went downe to him with a staffe, and plucked the speare out of the Egyptians hand, and slewe him with his owne speare.
24 Benaiah, o filho de Jehoiada, fez estas coisas e tinha um nome entre os três homens poderosos.
These things did Benaiah ye sonne of Iehoiada, and had the name among the three worthies.
25 Eis que ele era mais honrado que os trinta, mas não chegou aos três; e David o colocou sobre sua guarda.
Behold, he was honourable among thirtie, but he attained not vnto the first three. And Dauid made him of his counsell.
26 Os homens poderosos dos exércitos também incluem Asahel o irmão de Joab, Elhanan o filho de Dodo de Belém,
These also were valiant men of warre, Asahel the brother of Ioab, Elhanan the sonne of Dodo of Beth-lehem,
27 Shammoth o Harorita, Helez o Pelonita,
Shammoth the Harodite, Helez the Pelonite,
28 Ira o filho de Ikkesh o Tecoíta, Abiezer o Anatotita,
Ira the sonne of Ikkesh the Tekoite, Abiezer the Antothite,
29 Sibbecai o Hushathite, Ilai o Ahohite,
Sibbecai the Husathite, Ilai the Ahohite,
30 Maharai o Netofatita, Heled o filho de Baanah o Netofatita,
Maharai the Netophathite, Heled ye sonne of Baanah the Netophathite,
31 Ithai o filho de Ribai de Gibeah dos filhos de Benjamim, Benaiah o Piratonita,
Ithai the sonne of Ribai of Gibeah of the children of Beniamin, Benaiah the Pirathonite,
32 Hurai dos riachos de Gaash, Abiel o Arbatita,
Hurai of the riuers of Gaash, Abiel the Arbathite,
33 Azmaveth o Baharumita, Eliahba o Shaalbonita,
Azmaueth the Baharumite, Elihaba the Shaalbonite,
34 os filhos de Hashem o Gizonita, Jonathan o filho de Shagee o Hararita,
The sonnes of Hashem the Gizonite, Ionathan the sonne of Shageh the Harite,
35 Ahiam o filho de Sacar o Hararita, Eliphal o filho de Ur,
Ahiam the sonne of Sacar the Hararite, Eliphal the sonne of Vr,
36 Hepher o Mecheratita, Ahijah o Pelonita,
Hepher the Mecherathite, Ahiiah the Pelonite,
37 Hezro o Carmelita, Naarai o filho de Ezbai,
Hezro the Carmelite, Naarai the sonne of Ezbai,
38 Joel o irmão de Nathan, Mibhar o filho de Hagri,
Ioel the brother of Nathan, Mibhar the sonne of Haggeri,
39 Zelek o amonita, Naharai o berotítico (o portador da armadura de Joab o filho de Zeruiah),
Zelek the Ammonite, Nahrai the Berothite, the armour bearer of Ioab, the sonne of Zeruiah,
40 Ira o itrita, Gareb o itrita,
Ira the Ithrite, Garib the Ithrite,
41 Uriah o hitita, Zabad o filho de Ahlai,
Vriah the Hittite, Zabad the sonne of Ahlai,
42 Adina o filho de Shiza o reubenita (um chefe dos reubenitas), e trinta com ele,
Adina the sonne of Shiza the Reubenite, a captaine of the Reubenites, and thirtie with him,
43 Hanan o filho de Maacah, Joshaphat o Mithnite,
Hanan the sonne of Maachah, and Ioshaphat the Mithnite,
44 Uzzia o Ashterathite, Shama e Jeiel os filhos de Hotham o Aroerite,
Vzia the Ashterathite, Shama and Ieiel the sonnes of Otham the Aroerite,
45 Jediael o filho de Shimri, e Joha seu irmão, o Tizite,
Iediael the sonne of Shimri, and Ioha his brother the Tizite,
46 Eliel o Mahavite, e Jeribai, e Joshaviah, os filhos de Elnaam, e Ithmah o Moabite,
Eliel the Mahauite, and Ieribai and Ioshauiah the sonnes of Elnaam, and Ithmah the Moabite,
47 Eliel, Obed, e Jaasiel o Mezobaite.
Eliel and Obed, and Iaasiel the Mesobaite.
