Apocalipse 4
1 Depois disso, eu, [João], vi [em outra cena que ]havia uma porta aberta no céu. Aquele cuja voz era como [SIM] uma trombeta [altissonante], o mesmo que me tinha falado anteriormente, [me ]disse: “Suba para cá! Quero mostrar-lhe os eventos que devem ocorrer mais tarde”.
After this I loked and beholde a dore was open in heven and the fyrste voyce which I harde was as it were of a trompet talkinge with me which said: come vp hydder and I will shewe the thynges which must be fulfyllyd hereafter
2 Imediatamente senti que o Espírito [de Deus estava me controlando poderosamente. ]Lá no céu havia um trono, e no trono alguém estava sentado, [governando].
And immediatly I was in the sprete: and beholde a seate was put in heven and one sate on the seate.
3 O aspecto dele [brilhava ]como [SIM] [uma joia ]jaspe resplendente (OU: diamante) e como um rubi [cintilante. ]Ao redor do trono havia um arco-íris que [brilhava como uma ]esmeralda [fulgurante/resplandecente].
And he that sat was to loke apo like vnto a iaspar stone and a sardyne stone: And there was a rayne bowe aboute the seate in syght lyke to an Emeralde.
4 O trono estava rodeado de vinte e quatro tronos. Nestes tronos estavam [sentados ]vinte e quatro anciãos. [Os anciãos ]vestiam roupas de branco [puro ]e na cabeça tinham coroas de ouro.
And aboute the seate were. xxiiii. seates. And upon the seates. xxiiii. elders syttinge clothed in whyte rayment and had on their heddes crounes of gold.
5 Saíam do trono relâmpagos, barulhos e trovões. Sete tochas de fogo brilhavam diante do trono. Estas [representam ]o Espírito de Deus que tem todo tipo de poder (OU: que é [também ]simbolizado como sete espíritos).
And out of the seate proceded lightnynges and thundrynges and voyces and there wer vii. lampes of fyre burninge before ye seate which are the vii. sprettes of God.
6 Na frente do trono [havia algo parecido com ]um mar de vidro. Parecia [claro ]como cristal. Nos quatro lados do trono estavam [seres ]viventes. Cada um destes estava coberto de olhos na frente e atrás.
And before the seate there was a see of glasse lyke vnto cristall and in the myddes of the seate and rounde aboute the seate were iiii. bestes full of eyes before and behynde.
7 O primeiro [ser ]vivente era parecido com um leão. O segundo [ser ]vivente parecia um boi. O terceiro [ser ]vivente tinha cara de homem. O quarto ser vivente parecia uma águia que voava. Cada um dos quatro [seres ]viventes tinha seis asas. Estavam cobertos de olhos por todo [o corpo ]e debaixo [das asas]. Dia e noite não paravam [LIT] de cantar: “Santo, santo, santo é o Senhor Deus, o Todo-poderoso. É aquele que existia, que existe, e que sempre existirá”.
And the fyrste best was lyke a lion the seconde best lyke a calfe and ye thyrde beste had a face as a man and the fourthe beste was like a flyinge egle.
And the iiii. bestes had eche one of them vi. wynges aboute him and they were full of eyes with in. And they had noo reste daye nether nyght sayinge: holy holy holy lorde god almyghty which was and is and is to come.
9 Os [seres ]viventes [louvam], honram [DOU] e agradecem àquele que está sentado no trono, aquele que vive para sempre. (aiōn g165)
And when those beestes gave glory and honour and thankes to him that sat on the seate which lyveth for ever and ever: (aiōn g165)
10 Sempre que fazem assim, os vinte e quatro anciãos se prostram diante daquele que está sentado no trono e O adoram, àquele que vive para sempre. Eles depositam suas coroas diante do trono e cantam: (aiōn g165)
the xxiiii. elders fell doune before him that sat on the trone and worshipped him that lyveth for ever and caste their crounes before the trone sayinge: (aiōn g165)
11 “Nosso (excl) Senhor e Deus, Tu és digno de [que todos os seres ]te louvem, [que todos os seres ]te honrem e [que todos os seres ]confessem [que ] Tu és o poderoso, pois Tu [sozinho ]criaste todas as coisas. E mais, por haver determinado [que eles existissem, ]eles foram criados {Tu os criaste} e, [consequentemente, ]eles existem”.
thou arte worthy lorde to receave glory and honoure and power for thou haste created all thinges and for thy wylles sake they are and were created.
