Apocalipse 20
1 Eu vi um anjo descendo do céu, que tinha a chave do Abismo e uma grande corrente em sua mão. (Abyssos g12)
And I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key of the Abyss and a huge chain on his hand. (Abyssos g12)
2 Ele agarrou o dragão, aquela velha serpente que é o diabo e Satanás, e o prendeu com corrente por mil anos.
And he seized the dragon, the ancient serpent, who is a slanderer, even Satan, who deceives the whole inhabited earth, and bound him for a thousand years;
3 O anjo o jogou no Abismo, trancou e selou a porta, para que ele não pudesse mais enganar as nações por mil anos. Depois disso, ele precisa ser libertado por algum tempo. (Abyssos g12)
he threw him into the Abyss and locked and sealed it over him so that he should not deceive the nations any more until the thousand years were finished. And after these years he must be loosed for a short time. (Abyssos g12)
4 Eu vi pessoas sentadas em tronos, às quais foi dada autoridade para julgar. Também vi as almas das pessoas que foram decapitadas por causa do testemunho que deram a respeito de Jesus e por anunciarem a mensagem de Deus. Elas não adoraram o monstro ou a sua imagem e nem receberam o sinal dele em suas testas ou em suas mãos. Essas pessoas viveram e reinaram com Cristo por mil anos.
And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them; also, I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded on account of the testimony of Jesus and on account of the Word of God, even those who had not worshiped the Beast or his image and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hand. And they lived and reigned with the Christ for a thousand years.
5 Esta é a primeira ressurreição. O restante dos mortos não voltaram à vida novamente até que esses mil anos tivessem acabado.
(Now the rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were finished.) This is the first resurrection.
6 Abençoados e santos são aqueles que fazem parte da primeira ressurreição! Pois a segunda morte não tem poder sobre eles. Eles serão sacerdotes de Deus e de Cristo, e irão reinar com ele por mil anos.
Blessed and holy is the one having a part in the first resurrection; upon such the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and will reign with Him a thousand years.
7 Quando esse período de mil anos tiver terminado, Satanás será libertado de sua prisão,
Now when the thousand years are finished Satan will be released from his prison,
8 e sairá para enganar as nações espalhadas pelos quatro cantos do mundo, simbolizadas por Gogue e Magogue, para reuni-las para a batalha. O número de soldados é incontável como os grãos de areia da praia.
and he will go forth to deceive the nations that are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to the war, whose number is like the sand of the sea.
9 Eles marcharam sobre toda a superfície da terra e cercaram o acampamento do povo de Deus e de sua amada cidade. Mas, o fogo vindo do céu caiu diretamente sobre eles, queimando-os por completo.
They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down out of heaven from God and devoured them.
11 Então, vi um grande trono branco com aquele que se senta nele. O céu e a terra sumiram, e não mais foram vistos.
Then I saw a tremendous white throne and the One who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the sky fled away; and no place was found for them.
12 Eu vi os mortos, importantes e humildes, em pé diante do trono, e os livros foram abertos. Outro livro, o Livro da Vida, foi aberto e os mortos foram julgados com base no que havia sido escrito nos livros, a respeito do que eles tinham feito em vida.
And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne; and books were opened. And another Book was opened, namely, of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things that were written in the books.
13 O mar entregou os mortos que estavam nele, assim como também a morte e o Hades entregaram os seus mortos. E todos eles foram julgados de acordo com o que tinham feito. (Hadēs g86)
The ocean gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them; and they were judged each one according to their works. (Hadēs g86)
