Apocalipse 11
1 Eu recebi uma régua de medição, parecida com uma vara e me disseram: “Levante-se e meça o Templo de Deus, o altar e conte quantos estão adorando no Templo.
AND there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.
2 Não meça o pátio exterior do Templo, deixe isso, pois ele foi entregue aos pagãos. Eles irão pisar a cidade santa durante quarenta e dois meses.
But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.
3 Eu darei poder às minhas duas testemunhas, e elas irão fazer profecias durante mil duzentos e sessenta dias, vestindo roupas de tecido grosseiro.”
And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
4 Elas são as duas oliveiras e os dois candelabros que estão diante do Senhor da terra.
These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
5 Se alguém tentar causar algum mal a essas duas testemunhas, sairá fogo de suas bocas, queimando os seus inimigos. É dessa maneira que morrerá qualquer um que tentar machucá-las.
And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
6 Essas duas testemunhas têm o poder para fechar o céu, para que não caia uma única gota de chuva, enquanto estiverem anunciando a sua profecia. Elas também têm o poder para transformar a água em sangue e para atacar a terra com todos os tipos de pragas, quantas vezes quiserem.
These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.
7 Quando elas acabarem de dar o seu testemunho, o monstro que virá do Abismo atacará as testemunhas, irá derrotá-las e as matará. (Abyssos g12)
And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. (Abyssos g12)
8 Os seus corpos ficarão jogados na rua principal da grande cidade, simbolicamente chamada Sodoma e Egito. E foi nesse mesmo lugar em que o Senhor das duas testemunhas foi crucificado.
And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
9 Durante três dias e meio as pessoas de todos os povos, tribos, línguas e nações olharão para os seus corpos mortos e não permitirão que sejam sepultados.
And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.
10 Os habitantes da terra ficarão muito contentes com a morte dessas duas testemunhas. Eles irão comemorar enviando presentes uns para os outros, pois esses dois profetas foram um verdadeiro tormento para eles.
And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.
11 Mas três dias e meio depois, o sopro de vida de Deus penetrou nos dois corpos e eles se levantaram. Aqueles que viram isso acontecer ficaram absolutamente aterrorizados.
And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
12 As duas testemunhas ouviram uma voz bem alta, vinda do céu, dizendo-lhes: “Subam até aqui!” Então, elas subiram ao céu em uma nuvem, enquanto os seus inimigos as olhavam.
And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
13 Ao mesmo tempo, houve um grande terremoto, e um décimo da cidade foi destruído. Sete mil pessoas morreram por causa desse terremoto, e o restante ficou com tanto medo que deu glória ao Deus do céu.
And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.
14 O segundo Ai foi cumprido; o terceiro Ai está quase chegando!
The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.
15 O sétimo anjo tocou a sua trombeta, e vozes bem altas gritaram no céu: “O reino do mundo se tornou de nosso Senhor e do seu Cristo, e ele reinará para todo o sempre.” (aiōn g165)
And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. (aiōn g165)
16 Os vinte e quatro anciãos que estavam sentados em seus tronos, diante de Deus, se prostraram com os seus rostos virados para o chão e adoraram a Deus.
And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,
17 Eles disseram: “Nós lhe damos graças, ó Senhor Deus, Todo-Poderoso, que é e que era, pois o Senhor assumiu o seu grande poder e começou a reinar.”
Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.
18 As nações se enfureceram, mas o seu julgamento chegou, o momento em que os mortos serão julgados. Esse é o tempo em que os seus servos, os profetas e os irmãos na fé receberão a sua recompensa e também todos os que respeitam a sua autoridade, sejam eles importantes ou humildes. Esse também é o tempo em que você destruirá aqueles que destroem a terra.
And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
19 Então, abriu-se o Templo de Deus no céu, e a Arca do Acordo pôde ser vista dentro do seu Templo. Houve o brilho de relâmpagos, o som de trovões, um terremoto e uma forte chuva de pedras de gelo.
And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.
