Filemón 1
1 Esta carta foi escrita por Paulo, prisioneiro de Jesus Cristo, e pelo irmão Timóteo, para Filemom, nosso amado amigo e companheiro no anúncio do evangelho,
Paul a prisoner of Christ Jesus and Timothy [our] brother To Philemon the beloved and fellow worker of us
2 e para a igreja que se reúne em sua casa. A carta também é endereçada a nossa irmã Áfia, e para Arquipo, que está sempre ao nosso lado nesta luta.
and to Apphia (our sister *N(K)O*) and to Archippus the fellow soldier of us and to the at [the] house of you church:
3 Que a graça e a paz de Deus, nosso Pai, e do Senhor Jesus Cristo estejam com todos vocês!
Grace to you and peace from God Father of us and [the] Lord Jesus Christ.
4 Eu sempre agradeço ao meu Deus por você, Filemom, lembrando-me de você em minhas orações,
I thank the God of mine always mention of you making upon the prayers of mine,
5 pois tenho ouvido falar sobre a sua fé no Senhor Jesus e sobre o seu amor pelos irmãos.
hearing of your love and the faith that you have (toward *NK(o)*) the Lord Jesus and toward all the saints,
6 Oro para que você coloque em prática a sua generosidade, que vem de sua fé em Deus, ao perceber todas as boas coisas que compartilhamos em Cristo.
so that the fellowship of the faith of you effective may become in [the] acknowledgment of every good [thing] that [is] in (us *N(K)O*) in Christ (Jesus. *K*)
7 O seu amor, meu querido irmão, trouxe muita alegria e muito incentivo para mim. Você realmente inspira aqueles entre nós que creem.
(Joy *NK(O)*) for great (I have *N(K)O*) and encouragement by occasion of the love of you, because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed through you, brother.
8 E é por isso que embora eu tenha o direito, em Cristo, de ordenar o que você deve fazer,
Therefore much in Christ boldness having to order you what [is] befitting
9 prefiro que você entenda isso como um favor que lhe peço com amor. Eu, Paulo, já velho, agora também prisioneiro de Cristo Jesus,
for the sake of love rather I exhort [you], such a one being as Paul aged now then also a prisoner of Christ Jesus;
10 peço a você, em favor de Onésimo, que se tornou meu filho adotivo durante este tempo na prisão.
I exhort you for my child whom I have begotten in the chains (of mine *K*) Onesimus,
11 No passado, ele não teve utilidade para você, mas agora, ele é útil tanto para você quanto para mim!
once to you useless now however (both *n*) to you and to me myself useful,
12 Eu o envio até você, e com ele vai o meu próprio coração.
whom I have sent back (to you *N(K)O*) (now *k*) in person — who is my very heart — (do yourself receive. *K*)
13 Eu preferiria que ele continuasse aqui comigo, para que me ajudasse a anunciar o evangelho, da mesma maneira que você teria feito, enquanto estou na prisão.
whom I myself was wishing with myself to keep, so that on behalf of you me he may serve in the chains of the gospel;
14 Mas, decidi não fazer nada sem antes ter a sua permissão. Pois eu não quero forçar você a fazer o bem, mas, sim, que o faça espontaneamente.
Apart from however your consent no [thing] I wished to do, so that not as according to necessity the good of you may be but according to willingness.
15 Talvez você tenha ficado sem a presença de Onésimo por algum tempo, para que, assim, possa tê-lo de volta para sempre. (aiōnios g166)
Perhaps for because of this he was separated [from you] for a time, so that eternally him you may possess; (aiōnios g166)
16 E não mais como escravo, pois agora ele se tornou bem mais do que isso. Ele é um irmão muito amado, especialmente por mim. E ainda mais por você, tanto como homem quanto como um companheiro na fé no Senhor.
no longer no longer as a slave but above a slave, a brother beloved, especially to me myself, how much however more to you both in [the] flesh and in [the] Lord?
17 Então, se você me considera como um companheiro que trabalha junto com você para o Senhor, receba bem a Onésimo, como se estivesse recebendo a mim mesmo.
If therefore me you consider a partner, do yourself receive him as me myself.
18 Se ele fez qualquer mal a você, ou lhe deve algo, ponha isso na minha conta.
If however in any way he has wronged you or he owes [you], this to me myself do charge.
19 E assino aqui com a minha própria mão: Eu, Paulo, lhe pagarei. É claro que eu não irei mencionar o que você me deve, incluindo a sua própria vida!
I myself Paul did write with my own hand, I myself will repay [it]; that not I may say to you that even yourself to me you owe also.
20 Sim, meu irmão, eu espero esse favor de você, no Senhor. Então, eu lhe peço que deixe-me feliz em Cristo.
Yes, brother, I myself from you I would have profit in [the] Lord; do refresh my heart in (Christ. *N(K)O*)
21 Estou escrevendo sobre isso para você porque estou convencido de que fará como eu lhe peço. Na verdade, eu sei que você fará até mais do que estou lhe pedindo!
Having been persuaded of the obedience of you I write to you knowing that even above (what [things] *N(k)O*) I say you will do.
22 Nesse meio tempo, por favor, deixe um quarto preparado para mim, pois espero que Deus atenda as suas orações e que eu possa vê-lo logo.
At the same time now also do prepare for me a lodging; I hope for that through the prayers of you I will be granted to you.

24 assim como meus companheiros, Marcos, Aristarco, Demas e Lucas.
