Lucas 21
1 Jesus estava olhando ao redor e viu pessoas ricas colocando suas contribuições na caixa de ofertas.
And he biheeld, and saye tho riche men, that casten her yiftis in to the treserie;
2 Ele também viu uma viúva muito pobre colocar duas pequenas moedas.
but he saye also a litil pore widewe castynge twei ferthingis.
3 Ele disse: “Eu lhes digo que isto é verdade: esta pobre viúva colocou mais do que todos os outros juntos.
And he seide, Treuli Y seie to you, that this pore widewe keste more than alle men.
4 Todos eles deram da riqueza que eles tinham, mas ela deu de sua pobreza tudo o que tinha para viver.”
For whi alle these of thing that was plenteuouse to hem casten in to the yiftis of God; but this widewe of that thing that failide to hir, caste al hir liflode, that sche hadde.
5 Algumas pessoas que estavam lá comentavam sobre o Templo, a respeito das bonitas pedras com que estava enfeitado e das coisas que tinham sido ofertadas. Mas, Jesus disse:
And whanne sum men seiden of the temple, that it was apparailid with gode stoonus and yiftis,
6 “Em relação a estas coisas para as quais vocês estão olhando, está chegando o momento em que não restará uma pedra sobre a outra. Tudo será destruído!”
he seide, These thingis that ye seen, daies schulen come, in whiche a stoon schal not be left on a stoon, which schal not be destried.
7 Eles lhe perguntaram: “Mestre, quando isso acontecerá? Qual será o sinal que mostrará que essas coisas acontecerão?”
And thei axiden hym, and seiden, Comaundour, whanne schulen these thingis be? and what tokne schal be, whanne thei schulen bigynne to be don?
8 Jesus lhes avisou: “Tenham cuidado para que não sejam enganados. Muitas pessoas vão aparecer, fingindo ser eu, afirmando: ‘Eu sou o Messias!’. E também: ‘O tempo chegou!’ Mas não as sigam.
And he seide, Se ye, that ye be not disseyued; for many schulen come in my name, seiynge, For Y am, and the tyme schal neiye; therfor nyle ye go aftir hem.
9 Quando vocês ouvirem sobre guerras e revoluções, não fiquem com medo, pois essas coisas precisam acontecer primeiro, mas não quer dizer que o fim virá imediatamente.”
And whanne ye schulen here batailis and stryues with ynne, nyle ye be aferd; it bihoueth first these thingis to be don, but not yit anoon is an ende.
10 Ele lhes disse: “As nações atacarão umas às outras, e os reinos lutarão uns contra os outros.
Thanne he seide to hem, Folk schal rise ayens folk, and rewme ayens rewme;
11 Haverá fortes tremores de terra, muita fome e epidemias em muitos lugares. Além disso, serão vistos estranhos sinais no céu, que irão aterrorizar a todos.
grete mouyngis of erthe schulen be bi placis, and pestilencis, and hungris, and dredis fro heuene, and grete tokenes schulen be.
12 Mas, antes de tudo isso, eles irão prendê-los e persegui-los. Eles irão arrastá-los até às sinagogas e os jogarão na prisão. Vocês serão julgados por reis e governadores, por minha causa.
But bifore alle these thingis thei schulen sette her hoondis on you, and schulen pursue, bitakynge in to synagogis and kepyngis, drawynge to kyngis and to iusticis, for my name;
13 Mas, isso lhes dará a oportunidade para falar em meu nome diante deles.
but it schal falle to you in to witnessyng.
14 Assim, não se preocupem sobre como falarão para se defender,
Therfor putte ye in youre hertis, not to thenke bifore, hou ye schulen answere; for Y schal yyue to you mouth and wisdom,
15 pois eu lhes darei palavras de sabedoria, para que os seus inimigos não sejam capazes de resistir a vocês ou de desmenti-los.
to whiche alle youre aduersaries schulen not mowe ayenstonde, and ayenseie.
16 Vocês serão entregues até por seus pais, irmãos, parentes e amigos e irão até mesmo matar alguns de vocês.
And ye schulen be takun of fadir, and modir, and britheren, and cosyns, and freendis, and bi deeth thei schulen turmente of you;
17 Todos odiarão vocês por serem meus seguidores.
and ye schulen be in haate to alle men for my name.
18 Mas, nem um único fio de cabelo da cabeça de vocês será perdido.
And an heere of youre heed schal not perische;
19 Ao ficarem firmes, vocês ganharão as suas vidas.
in youre pacience ye schulen welde youre soulis.
20 No entanto, quando vocês virem Jerusalém cercada por exércitos, então, saberão que a destruição da cidade está próxima.
But whanne ye schulen se Jerusalem ben enuyround with an oost, thanne wite ye, that the desolacioun of it schal neiye.
21 As pessoas que estiverem na Judeia deverão fugir para as montanhas, e aquelas que estiverem em Jerusalém deverão sair imediatamente. Os que se encontram nos campos não deverão entrar na cidade.
Thanne thei that ben in Judee, fle to the mountans; and thei that ben in the mydil of it, gon awei; and thei that ben in the cuntreis, entre not in to it.
22 Pois esses serão dias de punição, cumprindo assim o que está escrito.
For these ben daies of veniaunce, that alle thingis that ben writun, be fulfillid.
23 Que dias difíceis para as mulheres que estiverem grávidas ou amamentando os seus bebês nessa época! Porque virão problemas terríveis sobre a terra e acontecerá a punição para essas pessoas.
And wo to hem, that ben with child, and norischen in tho daies; for a greet diseese schal be on the erthe, and wraththe to this puple.
24 Muitas serão mortas pela espada, e outras levadas como prisioneiras para todas as nações. Jerusalém será esmagada pelas nações pagãs até que se acabe o tempo delas fazerem isso.
And thei schulen falle bi the scharpnesse of swerd, and thei schulen be led prisoneris in to alle folkis; and Jerusalem schal be defoulid of hethene men, til the tymes of naciouns be fulfillid.
25 Haverá sinais no sol, na lua e nas estrelas. Aqui na terra, as nações ficarão em dificuldade e confusas pelo barulho furioso e pela agitação do mar.
And tokenes schulen be in the sunne, and the mone, and in the sterris; and in the erthe ouerleiyng of folkis, for confusioun of sown of the see and of floodis;
26 As pessoas irão desmaiar de medo, aterrorizadas com o que estará acontecendo no mundo, pois os poderes dos céus serão abalados.
for men schulen wexe drye for drede and abidyng that schulen come to al the world; for vertues of heuenes schulen be mouyd.
27 Então, elas verão o Filho do Homem, vindo em uma nuvem, com poder e grande glória.
And thanne thei schulen se mannys sone comynge in a cloude, with greet power and maieste.
28 Mas, quando essas coisas acontecerem, fiquem firmes e ergam a cabeça, pois vocês logo serão salvos.”
And whanne these thingis bigynnen to be maad, biholde ye, and reise ye youre heedis, for youre redempcioun neiyeth.
29 Então, Jesus lhes contou esta história como um exemplo para o que queria dizer: “Vejam a figueira ou qualquer outro tipo de árvore.
And he seide to hem a liknesse, Se ye the fige tre, and alle trees,
30 Quando vocês veem novas folhas aparecerem ninguém precisa lhes dizer que o verão está próximo.
whanne thei bryngen forth now of hem silf fruyt, ye witen that somer is nyy;
31 Da mesma maneira, quando vocês virem essas coisas acontecendo não precisarão que alguém lhes diga que o Reino de Deus está próximo.
so ye, whanne ye seen these thingis to be don, wite ye, that the kyngdom of God is nyy.
32 Eu lhes digo que isto é verdade: esta geração não morrerá antes que tudo isso aconteça.
Treuli Y seie to you, that this generacioun schal not passe, til alle thingis be don.
33 O céu e a terra poderão desaparecer, mas a minha palavra não desaparecerá.
Heuene and erthe schulen passe, but my wordis schulen not passe.
34 Tomem cuidado para que não se distraiam com festas, bebedeiras ou com as preocupações desta vida, para que esse dia não os pegue de surpresa.
But take ye heede to you silf, lest perauenture youre hertis be greuyd with glotony, and drunkenesse, and bisynessis of this lijf, and thilke dai come sodein on you; for as a snare it schal come on alle men,
35 Pois esse dia virá para todos que vivem sobre a terra.
that sitten on the face of al erthe.
36 Fiquem sempre alerta e orem. Assim, vocês poderão escapar de tudo que irá acontecer e permanecer em pé diante do Filho do Homem.”
Therfor wake ye, preiynge in ech tyme, that ye be hadde worthi to fle alle these thingis that ben to come, and to stonde bifor mannus sone.
37 Todos os dias Jesus ensinava no Templo, e todas as noites ele ficava no monte das Oliveiras.
And in daies he was techynge in the temple, but in nyytis he yede out, and dwellide in the mount, that is clepid of Olyuet.
38 Todas as pessoas vinham bem cedo de manhã para ouvi-lo no Templo.
And al the puple roos eerli, to come to hym in the temple, and to here hym.
