Colossenses 4
1 Senhores, tratem os seus escravos de forma correta e justa, reconhecendo que vocês também têm um Senhor no céu.
Masters, give to your servants that which is just and equal, knowing that you also have a Master in heaven.
2 Lembrem-se de continuar orando com a mente alerta e agradecida!
Continue steadfastly in prayer, watching in it with thanksgiving;
3 Orem também por nós, para que Deus possa nos dar a oportunidade de anunciar a mensagem e para falar a respeito do mistério revelado de Cristo, que é o motivo por eu estar aqui preso.
praying together for us also, that God may open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds;
4 Orem para que eu fale da forma mais clara possível.
that I may reveal it as I ought to speak.
5 Tenham uma atitude sábia com os que são de fora e usem bem toda a oportunidade que tiverem.
Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time.
6 Ao falarem, sejam sempre gentis. Que as suas conversas sejam de bom gosto e que vocês pensem sobre como responder da melhor maneira a cada pessoa com a qual conversarem.
Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.
7 Tíquico lhes dirá o que está acontecendo comigo. Ele é um irmão querido, um trabalhador fiel e um companheiro no serviço do Senhor.
All my affairs will be made known to you by Tychicus, the beloved brother, faithful servant, and fellow slave in the Lord.
8 Eu o envio a vocês para que saibam como estou indo e para que, assim, se animem.

13 Pois eu lhes posso afirmar que ele tem feito muito por vocês e também por aqueles em Laodiceia e em Hierápolis.
