2 Timóteo 3
1 Esteja ciente de que haverá tempos difíceis nos últimos dias.
But, of this, be taking note—that, in last days, there will set in perilous seasons;
2 Muitos amarão a si mesmos e ao dinheiro. Eles serão orgulhosos, arrogantes, abusivos, desobedientes aos seus pais, ingratos e sem Deus em suas vidas.
For men will be—fond of themselves, fond of money, ostentatious, arrogant, defamers, to parents, unyielding, unthankful, unkind,
3 Insensíveis e rancorosos, dirão calúnias e não terão controle sobre si mesmos. Pessoas brutas, que odeiam o que é bom,
without natural affection, accepting no truce, given to intrigue, without self-control, uncivilized, unfriendly to good men,
4 serão traidores, atrevidos e cheios de orgulho. Elas amarão mais os prazeres do que a Deus.
traitors, reckless, beclouded, lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God,
5 Não se engane, pois elas podem até parecer religiosas, mas não acreditam realmente no poder da nossa religião. Fique longe desse tipo de pessoa!
having a form of godliness, but, the power thereof, denying! and, from these, turn away;
6 Elas são do tipo que entram disfarçadamente nas casas e controlam mulheres vulneráveis, que são consumidas pela culpa do pecado e se distraem com todo tipo de desejos.
For, of these, are they who enter into the houses, and captivate silly women, [women] laden with sins, led on by manifold covetings,
7 Essas mulheres estão sempre tentando aprender, mas nunca são capazes de compreender a verdade.
Ever learning and never, unto a personal knowledge of truth, able to come;
8 Exatamente como Janes e Jambres foram contra Moisés, esses mestres também são contra a verdade. A mente dessas pessoas é perversa e acreditam que crer em Deus é uma mentira.
Moreover, like as, Jannes and Jambres, withstood Moses, so, these men also, withstand the truth, —men utterly corrupted in their mind, disapproved concerning their faith;
9 Mas, elas não irão longe. A estupidez delas ficará visível para todos, como aconteceu com Janes e Jambres.
But they shall not force their way further, for, their folly, shall be, fully evident, unto all, —as also, that of those men, became.
10 Mas, você sabe tudo sobre os meus ensinamentos, o meu comportamento e também sobre o meu objetivo de vida. Você conhece a minha fé em Deus e o meu amor. Você sabe o que eu tive que suportar,
But, thou, hast closely studied—my teaching, manner of life, purpose, faith, long-suffering, love, endurance,
11 como fui perseguido e o que sofri. Você sabe o que aconteceu comigo em Antioquia, em Icônio e em Listra. Sabe sobre as perseguições que sofri e sobre como o Senhor me salvou de todas elas.
persecutions, sufferings, what manner of things, befell me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra, what manner of persecutions, I endured, —and, out of all, the Lord, rescued me; —
12 É claro que é verdade que todos os que querem viver uma vida voltada para Deus, em Cristo Jesus, serão perseguidos,
Yea and, all who are determined to live in a godly manner in Christ Jesus, will be persecuted;
13 enquanto as pessoas más e falsas pensarão que estão se saindo bem, elas irão de mal a pior, enganando os outros e se enganando também.
Whereas, wicked men and howling impostors, will force their way to the worse, deceiving and being deceived.
14 Mas, você deve se apegar aos ensinamentos que recebeu e dos quais está convencido de que são verdadeiros. Você sabe quem o ensinou.
But, thou, —abide in the things which thou hast learned, and been entrusted with, knowing, from whom, thou hast learned [them], —
15 Desde a sua infância, você conhece as Sagradas Escrituras, que podem lhe dar o entendimento que precisa para a salvação, pela fé em Cristo Jesus.
And that, from a babe, those sacred letters, thou hast known which are able to make thee wise unto salvation, through the faith which is in Christ Jesus:
16 Toda a Escritura é inspirada por Deus e útil para ensinar, para confrontar o que é errado, para nos manter no caminho certo e para nos dizer o que é justo.
Every scripture, [is] God-breathed, and profitable—unto teaching, unto conviction, unto correction, unto the discipline that is in righteousness, —
17 É assim que Deus prepara a todos que trabalham para ele, para que realizem tudo o que é bom.
In order that, ready, may be the man, of God, unto every good work, being well-prepared.
