1 João 2
1 Meus filhinhos, estou lhes escrevendo isso para que vocês não pequem. Mas, caso aconteça de alguém pecar, temos quem nos defenda diante do Pai – Jesus Cristo, que é verdadeiramente bom e justo.
Mi litle sones, Y write to you these thingis, that ye synnen not. But if ony man synneth, we han an aduocat anentis the fadir,
2 Por meio dele, os nossos pecados são perdoados, não apenas os nossos, mas também os do mundo inteiro.
Jhesu Crist, and he is the foryyuenes for oure synnes; and not oneli for oure synnes, but also for the synnes of al the world.
3 Nós teremos a certeza de conhecê-lo se seguirmos os seus mandamentos.
And in this thing we witen, that we knowen hym, if we kepen hise comaundementis.
4 Qualquer um que diz: “Eu o conheço”, mas não faz o que ele diz, está mentindo, e não há verdade nele.
He that seith that he knowith God, and kepith not hise comaundementis, is a liere, and trewthe is not in hym.
5 Mas, quem segue a palavra de Deus pode ter certeza de estar completamente tomado pelo seu amor. É assim que sabemos que estamos realmente unidos a ele.
But the charite of God is perfit verili in hym, that kepith his word. In this thing we witen, that we ben in hym, if we ben perfit in hym.
6 Quem afirma estar unido a Deus deve viver como Jesus viveu.
He that seith, that he dwellith in hym, he owith for to walke, as he walkide.
7 Amigos, não escrevo a vocês para lhes anunciar um novo mandamento, mas, sim, um antigo, o qual vocês conhecem desde o começo. Vocês já ouviram falar desse antigo mandamento.
Moost dere britheren, Y write to you, not a newe maundement, but the elde maundement, that ye hadden fro the bigynnyng. The elde maundement is the word, that ye herden.
8 Mas, de certa forma, estou anunciando a vocês um novo mandamento, porque a sua verdade é vista em Jesus e também em vocês, já que as trevas estão chegando ao seu fim e a verdadeira luz já está brilhando.
Eftsoone Y write to you a newe maundement, that is trewe bothe in hym and in you; for derknessis ben passid, and veri liyt schyneth now.
9 Aqueles que dizem que vivem na luz, mas odeiam um irmão cristão, ainda estão vivendo com a escuridão dentro deles.
He that seith, that he is in liyt, and hatith his brother, is in derknesse yit.
10 Aqueles que amam os seus irmãos cristãos vivem na luz e não fazem com que os outros pequem.
He that loueth his brothir, dwellith in liyt, and sclaundre is not in hym.
11 Aqueles que odeiam um irmão em Cristo estão nas trevas, e andam nas trevas. Eles tropeçam em seu caminho e não sabem para onde estão indo, porque as trevas os cegam.
But he that hatith his brother, is in derknessis, and wandrith in derknessis, and woot not whidir he goith; for derknessis han blindid hise iyen.
12 Filhos, escrevo a vocês, pois os seus pecados já foram perdoados, por causa do nome de Jesus.
Litle sones, Y write to you, that youre synnes ben foryouun to you for his name.
13 Pais, estou lhes escrevendo, pois vocês conhecem aquele que existia desde o princípio. Jovens, estou lhes escrevendo, pois vocês venceram o maligno.
Fadris, Y write to you, for ye han knowun hym, that is fro the bigynnyng. Yonge men, Y write to you, for ye han ouercomun the wickid.
14 Eu escrevo a vocês, filhinhos, pois vocês conhecem o Pai. Eu escrevo a vocês, pais, pois vocês conhecem aquele que existia desde o princípio. Eu escrevo a vocês, jovens, pois vocês são fortes, a mensagem de Deus vive em vocês, e vocês derrotaram o maligno.
Y write to you, yonge children, for ye han knowe the fadir. Y write to you, britheren, for ye han knowen hym, that is fro the bigynnyng. Y write to you, yonge men, for ye ben stronge, and the word of God dwellith in you, and ye han ouercomun the wickid.
15 Não se apaixonem pelo mundo e não desejem as coisas que este mundo lhes oferece. Se vocês amarem o mundo não terão o amor do Pai em vocês.
Nyle ye loue the world, ne tho thingis that ben in the world. If ony man loueth the world, the charite of the fader is not in hym.
16 Pois nada que é deste mundo vem de Deus. Os nossos maus desejos, que nos levam a pecar, e que nos fazem desejar tudo o que vemos e a nos orgulhar do que acumulamos em vida nada disso vem do Pai, mas do mundo.
For al thing that is in the world, is coueitise of fleisch, and coueitise of iyen, and pride of lijf, which is not of the fadir, but it is of the world.
17 O mundo e seus desejos perversos estão chegando ao fim, mas aqueles que cumprem a vontade de Deus viverão para sempre. (aiōn g165)
And the world schal passe, and the coueitise of it; but he that doith the wille of God, dwellith with outen ende. (aiōn g165)
18 Meus filhinhos, o fim se aproxima. Como vocês ouviram, o anticristo está vindo. Muitos anticristos já vieram. E é assim que sabemos que o fim está chegando.
My litle sones, the laste our is; and as ye han herd, that antecrist cometh, now many antecristis ben maad; wherfor we witen, that it is the laste our.
19 Eles nos deixaram, mas o lugar deles não era junto a nós, pois se fosse, teriam permanecido conosco. Quando se foram, mostraram que nenhum deles pertencia ao nosso grupo.
Thei wenten forth fro vs, but thei weren not of vs; for if thei hadden be of vs, thei hadden dwelte with vs; but that thei be knowun, that thei ben not of vs.
20 Mas, vocês foram ungidos com a bênção do Espírito Santo e todos vocês conhecem a verdade.
But ye han anointyng of the Hooli Goost, and knowen alle thingis.
21 Eu não estou escrevendo por vocês não saberem a verdade, mas, justamente porque vocês a conhecem e porque não há mentiras que venham da verdade.
Y wroot not to you, as to men that knowen not treuthe, but as to men that knowen it, and for ech leesing is not of treuthe.
22 Quem mente? Mente qualquer um que nega que Jesus seja o Messias. O anticristo é alguém que nega o Pai e o Filho.
Who is a liere, but this that denyeth that Jhesu is not Crist? This is antecrist, that denyeth the fadir, and the sone.
23 Quem rejeita o Filho não tem o Pai; quem aceita o Filho também tem o Pai.
So ech that denyeth the sone, hath not the fadir; but he that knowlechith the sone, hath also the fadir.
24 Quanto a vocês, cuidem para que o que ouviram desde o começo continue vivo em seus corações. Se o que ouviram desde o começo permanecer vivo em vocês, então, também viverão unidos ao Filho e ao Pai.
That thing that ye herden at the bigynnyng, dwelle it in you; for if that thing dwellith in you, which ye herden at the bigynnyng, ye schulen dwelle in the sone and in the fadir.
And this is the biheeste, that he bihiyte to vs euerlastinge lijf. (aiōnios g166)
26 Escrevo isso para alertá-los em relação àqueles que querem tirá-los do caminho da verdade.
Y wroot these thingis to you, of hem that disseyuen you,
27 Mas, Cristo os ungiu com seu Espírito, o qual vive em vocês. E, justamente por isso, não é preciso que ninguém os ensine. Por essa unção, o Espírito já lhes ensina tudo o que precisam saber. E o que o Espírito ensina é a verdade, e não a mentira. Então, vivam em Cristo, exatamente como o Espírito lhes ensinou!
and that the anoyntyng which ye resseyueden of hym, dwelle in you. And ye han not nede, that ony man teche you, but as his anoyntyng techith you of alle thingis, and it is trewe, and it is not leesyng; and as he tauyte you, dwelle ye in hym.
28 Então, queridos amigos, continuem a viver em Cristo, para que, quando ele aparecer, nós possamos nos sentir confiantes, e não envergonhados diante dele, em sua vinda.
And now, ye litle sones, dwelle ye in hym, that whanne he schal appere, we haue a trist, and be not confoundid of hym in his comyng.
29 Se vocês sabem que ele é bom e justo, então, também sabem que todos os que fazem o que é justo são filhos de Deus.
If ye witen that he is iust, wite ye that also ech that doith riytwisnesse, is borun of hym.
