Zacarias 4
1 E o anjo que falava comigo voltou e me despertou, tal como se desperta um homem de seu sono.
And the angel that talked with me came again, and awaked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep,
2 E ele me disse: O que vês? E eu respondi: Eis que vejo um castiçal de ouro maciço, com um recipiente de azeite sobre seu topo, e sete lâmpadas sobre ele; e cada uma das sete lâmpadas tinha um tubo em seu topo;
and said to me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold, a chandelier all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and its seven lamps upon it, and seven pipes to the seven lamps which are upon the top of it;
3 E duas oliveiras junto a ele, uma à direita do recipiente, e uma à esquerda.
and two olive-trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side of it.
4 E eu perguntei ao anjo que falava comigo, dizendo: Meu senhor, o que é isto?
And I spake, and said to the angel that talked with me, What mean these, my lord?
5 E o anjo que falava comigo respondeu dizendo: Tu não sabes que é isto? E eu disse: Não, meu senhor.
Then the angel who talked with me answered and said to me, Knowest thou not what these mean? And I said, No, my lord.
6 E ele falou comigo, dizendo: Esta é palavra do SENHOR a Zorobabel, que diz: Não [se fará] por força, nem por violência, mas sim por meu espírito, diz o SENHOR dos exércitos.
Then he answered and spake to me, saying, This is the word of Jehovah to Zerubbabel, saying: — Not by might, nor by power, But by my spirit, Saith Jehovah of hosts.
7 Quem és tu, montanha grande? Diante de Zorobabel se tornarás em planície; ele trará a pedra angular com gritos de: Graça! graça seja!
What art thou, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain! And he shall bring forth the corner-stone amid shoutings, [[The people crying, ]] “Grace, grace be to it!”
8 E palavra do SENHOR veio a mim, dizendo:
Moreover, the word of Jehovah came to me, saying:
9 As mãos de Zorobabel fundaram esta casa; também suas mãos a completarão, para que saibais que o SENHOR dos exércitos me enviou até vós.
The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house, and his hands shall finish it. And thou shalt know that Jehovah of hosts hath sent me to you.
10 Pois quem despreza o dia das pequenas coisas? Pois esses sete se alegrarão ao verem o prumo na mão de Zorobabel (esses são os olhos do SENHOR, que percorrem toda a terra).
For who hath despised the day of small things? With joy shall the plummet be seen in the hand of Zerubbabel by those seven; they are the eyes of Jehovah, which run to and fro through the whole earth.
11 E eu respondi, perguntando: O que são as duas oliveiras à direita e à esquerda do castiçal?
Then I spake and said to him, What mean these two olive-trees, upon the right side of the chandelier and upon the left side thereof?
12 E também lhe perguntei: O que são aqueles dois ramos de oliveiras que estão de lado dos dois tubos de ouro que derramam [azeite] dourado?
And I spake the second time, and said to him, What mean these two olive-branches, which are by the side of the two golden tubes which empty the golden oil out of themselves?
13 E ele falou comigo, dizendo: Tu não sabes o que é isto? E eu disse: Não, meu senhor.
And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these mean? And I said, No, my lord.
14 Então ele disse: Estes são os dois ungidos que estão diante do Senhor de toda a terra.
And he said, These are the two anointed ones that stand before the Lord of all the earth.
