Cantares de Salomâo 1
1 Cântico dos cânticos, que é de Salomão.
This is Solomon’s Song of Songs.
2 [Ela]: Beije-me ele com os beijos de sua boca, porque teu amor é melhor do que o vinho.
Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth! For your love is more delightful than wine.
3 O cheiro dos teus perfumes é agradável; teu nome é [como] perfume sendo derramado, por isso as virgens te amam.
The fragrance of your perfume is pleasing; your name is like perfume poured out. No wonder the maidens adore you.
4 Toma-me contigo, e corramos; traga-me o rei aos seus quartos.[Moças]: Em ti nos alegraremos e nos encheremos de alegria; nos agradaremos mais de teu amor do que do vinho; [Ela]: Elas estão certas em te amar;
Take me away with you—let us hurry! May the king bring me to his chambers. We will rejoice and delight in you; we will praise your love more than wine. It is only right that they adore you.
5 Eu sou morena, porém bela, ó filhas de Jerusalém: [morena] como as tendas de Quedar, [bela] como as cortinas de Salomão.
I am dark, yet lovely, O daughters of Jerusalem, like the tents of Kedar, like the curtains of Solomon.
6 Não fiquem me olhando por eu ser morena, pois o sol brilhou sobre mim; os filhos de minha mãe se irritaram contra mim, [e] me puseram para cuidar de vinhas; [porém] minha própria vinha, que me pertence, não cuidei.
Do not stare because I am dark, for the sun has gazed upon me. My mother’s sons were angry with me; they made me a keeper of the vineyards, but my own vineyard I have neglected.
7 Dize-me, amado de minha alma: onde apascentas [o teu gado]? Onde [o] recolhes ao meio- dia? Para que ficaria eu como que coberta com um véu por entre os gados de teus colegas?
Tell me, O one I love, where do you pasture your sheep? Where do you rest them at midday? Why should I be like a veiled woman beside the flocks of your companions?
8 [Ele]: Se tu, a mais bela entre as mulheres, não sabes, sai pelos rastros das ovelhas, e apascenta tuas cabras junto às tendas dos pastores.
If you do not know, O fairest of women, follow the tracks of the flock, and graze your young goats near the tents of the shepherds.
9 Eu te comparo, querida, às éguas das carruagens de Faraó.
I compare you, my darling, to a mare among Pharaoh’s chariots.
10 Agradáveis são tuas laterais da face entre os enfeites, teu pescoço entre os colares.
Your cheeks are beautiful with ornaments, your neck with strings of jewels.
11 Enfeites de ouro faremos para ti, com detalhes de prata.
We will make you ornaments of gold, studded with beads of silver.
12 [Ela]: Enquanto o rei está sentado à sua mesa, meu nardo dá a sua fragrância.
While the king was at his table, my perfume spread its fragrance.
13 Meu amado é para mim [como] um saquinho de mirra que passa a noite entre meus seios;
My beloved is to me a sachet of myrrh resting between my breasts.
14 Meu amado é para mim [como] um ramalhete de hena nas vinhas de Engedi.
My beloved is to me a cluster of henna blossoms in the vineyards of En-gedi.
15 [Ele]: Como tu és bela, minha querida! Como tu és bela! Teus olhos são [como] pombas.
How beautiful you are, my darling! Oh, how very beautiful! Your eyes are like doves.
16 [Ela]: Como tu és belo, meu amado! Como [tu és] agradável! E o nosso leito se enche de folhagens.
How handsome you are, my beloved! Oh, how delightful! The soft grass is our bed.
17 As vigas de nossa casa são os cedros, e nossos caibros os ciprestes.
The beams of our house are cedars; our rafters are fragrant firs.
