Apocalipse 6
1 E eu vi quando o Coreiro abriu um dos selos; e ouvi um dos quatro animais dizendo [com] voz como de trovão: “Vem, e vê.”
And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures saying, as a voice of thunder, Come [and see].
2 E eu olhei, e eis um cavalo branco; e o que estava sentado sobre ele tinha um arco; e uma coroa lhe foi dada, e ele saiu [como] conquistador, e para que conquistasse.
And I saw: and behold, a white horse, and he that sat upon it having a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went forth conquering and that he might conquer.
3 E quando ele abriu o segundo selo, eu ouvi o segundo animal dizendo: “Vem, e vê.”
And when it opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, Come [and see].
4 E saiu outro cavalo vermelho; e ao que estava sentado sobre ele foi concedido que tirasse a paz da terra, e que uns aos outros se matassem; e uma grande espada lhe foi dada.
And another, a red horse, went forth; and to him that sat upon it, to him it was given to take peace from the earth, and that they should slay one another; and there was given to him a great sword.
5 E quando ele abriu o terceiro celo, eu ouvi o terceiro animal dizer: “Vem, e vê.” E olhei, e eis um cavalo preto, e o que estava sentado sobre ele tinha uma balança na sua mão.
And when it opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature saying, Come [and see]. And I saw: and behold, a black horse, and he that sat upon it having a balance in his hand.
6 E ouvi uma voz no meio dos quatro animais, dizendo: “Uma medida de trigo por um dinheiro, e três medidas de cevada por um dinheiro; e não danifiques o azeite e o vinho.”
And I heard as a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, A choenix of wheat for a denarius, and three choenixes of barley for a denarius: and do not injure the oil and the wine.
7 E quando ele abriu o quarto selo, eu ouvi a voz do quarto animal dizendo: “Vem, e vê.”
And when it opened the fourth seal, I heard [the voice of] the fourth living creature saying, Come [and see].
8 E eu olhei, e eis um cavalo amarelo, e o que estava sentado sobre ele, seu nome [era] Morte; e o Xeol o seguia. E foi-lhes dada autoridade para matar a quarta [parte] da terra, com espada, com fome, com morte [por doença], e com os animais ferozes da terra. (Hadēs g86)
And I saw: and behold, a pale horse, and he that sat upon it, his name [was] Death, and hades followed with him; and authority was given to him over the fourth of the earth to slay with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and by the beasts of the earth. (Hadēs g86)
9 E quando ele abriu o quinto selo, eu vi debaixo do altar as almas dos que foram mortos por causa da palavra de Deus, e por causa do testemunho que tinham.
And when it opened the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar the souls of them that had been slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held;
10 E clamavam com grande voz, dizendo: “Até quando, Santo e Verdadeiro Soberano, não julgas e vingas nosso sangue daqueles que habitam sobre a terra?”
and they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O sovereign Ruler, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell upon the earth?
11 E foram dados a cada um [deles] compridas roupas brancas; e foi-lhes dito que repousassem ainda um pouco de tempo, até que se completassem os seus companheiros de serviço e seus irmãos, que [ainda] viriam a ser mortos.
And there was given to them, to each one a white robe; and it was said to them that they should rest yet a little while, until both their fellow-bondmen and their brethren, who were about to be killed as they, should be fulfilled.
12 E eu vi quando ele abriu o sexto selo, e eis que houve um grande tremor de terra; e o sol se tornou preto como um saco feito de pelos de animais, e a lua se tornou como sangue.
And I saw when it opened the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as hair sackcloth, and the whole moon became as blood,
13 E as estrelas do céu caíram sobre a terra como a figueira lança de si seus figos verdes, abalada por um grande vento.
and the stars of heaven fell upon the earth, as a fig tree, shaken by a great wind, casts its unseasonable figs.
14 E o céu se removeu como um rolo de livro que se enrola; e todos os montes e ilhas se moveram de seus lugares.
And the heaven was removed as a book rolled up, and every mountain and island were removed out of their places.
15 E os reis da terra, e os grandes, e os rigos, e os comandantes, e os poderosos, e todo escravo, e todo livre se esconderam nas cavernas e nas rochas das montanhas.
And the kings of the earth, and the great, and the chiliarchs, and the rich, and the strong, and every bondman and freeman, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains;
16 E diziam aos montes, e às rochas: “Caí sobre nós, e escondei-nos do rosto daquele que está sentado sobre o trono, e da ira do Cordeiro;
and they say to the mountains and to the rocks, Fall on us, and have us hidden from [the] face of him that sits upon the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb;
17 Porque chegou o dia da sua grande ira; e quem poderá ficar de pé?”
because the great day of his wrath is come, and who is able to stand?
