Apocalipse 21
1 E eu vi um novo céu e uma nova terra; porque o primeiro céu e a primeira terra [já] passaram; e e [já] não havia mar.
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea exists no more.
2 E eu, João, vi a cidade santa, a nova Jerusalém, descendo do céu [vinda] de Deus, preparada como noiva, adornada para seu marido.
And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of the heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 E eu ouvi uma grande voz do céu, dizendo: “Eis que o tabernáculo de Deus está com os seres humanos; e com eles habitará, e eles serão seu povo, e o próprio Deus estará com eles, [e será] seu Deus.
And I heard a loud voice out of the heaven, saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God [is] with men, and he shall tabernacle with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, their God.
4 E Deus limpará toda lágrima dos olhos deles; e não haverá mais morte, nem pranto, nem clamor, nem mais haverá dor; porque as primeiras coisas [já] passaram.”
And he shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall not exist any more, nor grief, nor cry, nor distress shall exist any more, for the former things have passed away.
5 E o que estava sentado sobre o trono disse: “Eis que eu faço novas todas as coisas.” E ele me disse: “Escreve, porque estas palavras são verdadeiras e fiéis.”
And he that sat on the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he says [to me], Write, for these words are true and faithful.
6 E ele me disse: “Está feito. Eu sou o Alfa e o Ômega, o princípio e o fim. Quem tiver sede, de graça eu lhe darei da fonte da água da vida.
And he said to me, It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give to him that thirsts of the fountain of the water of life freely.
7 Quem vencer herdará todas as coisas; e eu serei Deus dele, e ele será meu filho.
He that overcomes shall inherit these things, and I will be to him God, and he shall be to me son.
9 E veio a mim um dos sete anjos que tinham as sete taças cheias das sete últimas pragas; e ele falou comigo, dizendo: “Vem, [e] eu te mostrarei a noiva, a mulher do Cordeiro.”
And there came one of the seven angels which had had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues, and spoke with me, saying, Come here, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.
10 E ele me levou em espírito a um grande e alto monte; e ele me mostrou a grande cidade, a santa Jerusalém, descendo do céu [vinda] de Deus;
And he carried me away in [the] Spirit, [and set me] on a great and high mountain, and shewed me the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of the heaven from God,
11 [E] tendo a glória de Deus; e sua luz era semelhante a uma pedra preciosíssima, como a pedra de jaspe, como cristal brilhante;
having the glory of God. Her shining [was] like a most precious stone, as a crystal-like jasper stone;
12 [E] tinha um grande e alto muro tendo doze portas; e nas portas doze anjos, e nomes escritos nelas, que são os [nomes] das doze tribos dos filhos de Israel.
having a great and high wall; having twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names inscribed, which are those of the twelve tribes of [the] sons of Israel.
13 No oriente [tinha] três portas; no norte três portas, no sul três portas, [e] no ocidente três portas.
On [the] east three gates; and on [the] north three gates; and on [the] south three gates; and on [the] west three gates.
14 E o muro da cidade tinha doze fundamentos, e neles os nomes dos doze apóstolos do Cordeiro.
And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
15 E aquele que estava falando comigo tinha uma cana de ouro, para medir a cidade, e suas portas, e seu muro.
And he that spoke with me had a golden reed [as] a measure, that he might measure the city, and its gates, and its wall.
16 E a cidade estava posta [na forma] de um quadrado; e o seu comprimento era tanto quanto [sua] largura. E ele mediu a cidade com a cana até doze mil estádios; e seu comprimento, largura e altura eram iguais.
And the city lies four-square, and its length [is] as much as the breadth. And he measured the city with the reed — twelve thousand stadia: the length and the breadth and height of it are equal.
17 E ele mediu seu muro de cento e quarenta e quatro côvados, [conforme] a medida humana, que é [também] a do anjo.
And he measured its wall, a hundred [and] forty-four cubits, [a] man's measure, that is, [the] angel's.
18 E a constituição de seu muro era [de] jaspe; e a cidade [era] de ouro puro, semelhante a vidro puro.
And the building of its wall [was] jasper; and the city pure gold, like pure glass:
19 E os fundamentos do muro da cidade estavam adornados com toda pedra preciosa; o primeiro fundamento era jaspe; o segundo, safira; o terceiro, calcedônia; o quarto, esmeralda;
the foundations of the wall of the city [were] adorned with every precious stone: the first foundation, jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, chalcedony; the fourth, emerald;
20 O quinto, sardônica; o sexto, sárdio; o sétimo, crisólito; o oitavo, berilo; o nono, topázio; o décimo, crisópraso; o décimo primeiro, jacinto; o décimo segundo, ametista.
the fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, topaz; the tenth, chrysoprasus; the eleventh, jacinth; the twelfth, amethyst.
21 E as doze portas eram doze pérolas; cada uma das portas era de uma pérola; e a praça da cidade [era] de ouro puro, como vidro transparente.
And the twelve gates, twelve pearls; each one of the gates, respectively, was of one pearl; and the street of the city pure gold, as transparent glass.
22 E nela eu não vi templo, porque o templo dela é o Senhor Deus Todo-Poderoso, e o Cordeiro.
And I saw no temple in it; for the Lord God Almighty is its temple, and the Lamb.
23 E a cidade não necessita de sol nem de lua para que brilhem nela; porque a glória de Deus a ilumina, e sua lâmpada [é] o Cordeiro.
And the city has no need of the sun nor of the moon, that they should shine for it; for the glory of God has enlightened it, and the lamp thereof [is] the Lamb.
24 E as nações andarão na luz dela; e os reis da terra trarão a ela a glória e honra deles.
And the nations shall walk by its light; and the kings of the earth bring their glory to it.
25 E suas portas não se fecharão de dia; porque ali não haverá noite.
And its gates shall not be shut at all by day, for night shall not be there.
26 E a ela serão trazidas a glória e a honra das nações.
And they shall bring the glory and the honour of the nations to it.
27 E de maneira nenhuma entrará nela algo que contamine, faça abominação e mentira; a não ser somente aqueles que estão escritos no livro da vida do Cordeiro.
And nothing common, nor that maketh an abomination and a lie, shall at all enter into it; but those only who [are] written in the book of life of the Lamb.
