Apocalipse 16
1 E eu ouvi uma grande voz do templo, dizendo aos sete anjos: “Ide, e derramai as taças da ira de Deus sobre a terra.”
Then I heard a loud voice saying to the seven angels, “Go pour out on the earth the seven bowls of the wrath of God.”
2 E foi o primeiro, e derramou sua taça sobre a terra; e se fez uma chaga ruim e maligna nos homens que tinham a marca da besta, e que adoravam a imagem dela.
So the first went and poured out his bowl on the earth. Then harmful and painful sores came upon the people who had the mark of the beast and who worshiped his image.
3 E o segundo anjo derramou sua taça sobre o mar, e [este] se tornou em sangue como de morto, e toda alma vivente no mar morreu.
The second angel poured out his bowl into the sea, and it turned into blood, like that of a dead person, and every creature in the sea died.
4 E o terceiro anjo derramou sua taça sobre os rios, e sobre as fontes de águas, e se tornaram em sangue.
The third poured out his bowl into the rivers and the springs of water, and they became blood.
5 E eu ouvi ao anjo das águas, dizendo: “Justo és tu, que és, e que eras, o Santo, porque julgaste estas coisas;
And I heard the angel of the waters say, “Just are yoʋ, who are and have always been holy, because yoʋ have brought these judgments.
6 porque eles derramaram o sangue dos santos e dos profetas, também tu lhes deste sangue a beber; porque disto são merecedores.”
For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and yoʋ have given them blood to drink; it is what they deserve.”
7 E ouvi um outro do altar, dizendo: “Sim, Senhor Deus Todo-Poderoso, verdadeiros e justos são os teus juízos!”
And I heard the altar say, “Yes, Lord God, the Almighty, true and just are yoʋr judgments.”
8 E o quarto anjo derramou sua taça sobre o sol; e foi-lhe concedido que queimasse os seres humanos com fogo.
The fourth poured out his bowl on the sun, and the sun was permitted to scorch people with fire.
9 E os seres humanos foram queimados com grande calor, e blasfemaram do nome de Deus, que tem poder sobre estas pagas; e eles não se arrependeram, para lhe darem glória.
People were scorched with intense heat, and they blasphemed the name of God, who had authority over these plagues, but they did not repent and give him glory.
10 E o quinto anjo derramou sua taça sobre o trono da besta, e seu reino se tornou em trevas, e mordiam de dor suas línguas.
The fifth poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and the beast's kingdom was plunged into darkness. People gnawed their tongues in agony
11 E eles blasfemaram a Deus do céu por causa de suas dores e por causa de suas chagas; e não se arrependeram de suas obras.
and blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and sores, but they did not repent of their works.
12 E o sexto anjo derramou sua taça sobre o grande rio Eufrates; e sua água se secou, para que se preparasse o caminho dos reis do [oriente], onde o sol nasce.
The sixth poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up to prepare the way for the kings of the east.
13 E da boca do dragão, e da boca da besta, e da boca do falso profeta, eu vi [saírem] três espíritos imundos, semelhantes a rãs.
Then I saw three unclean spirits that looked like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
14 Porque são espíritos de demônios, e fazem sinais sobrenaturais, os quais vão aos reis da terra, e de todo o mundo, para os ajuntarem à batalha daquele grande dia do Deus Todo-Poderoso.
They are demonic spirits performing signs, who go out to the kings of the whole world to assemble them for battle on that great day of God, the Almighty.
15 “(Eis que eu venho como ladrão. Bendito é aquele que vigia e guarda suas roupas, para que não ande nu, e vejam seu impudor).”
(“Behold, I am coming like a thief! Blessed is he who stays awake and keeps his garments on, so that he will not walk around naked and have people see his shame.”)
16 E foram reunidos no lugar que em hebraico se chama Armagedom.
Then they assembled the kings at the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon.
17 E o sétimo anjo derramou sua taça sobre o ar; e saiu uma grande voz do templo do céu, do trono, dizendo: “Está feito.”
The seventh poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came from the throne of the temple of heaven, saying, “It is done!”
18 E houve vozes, e trovões, e relâmpagos; e houve um grande terremoto, o qual nunca tinha acontecido desde que existia a humanidade sobre a terra, de tão forte e tão grande.
Then there were flashes of lightning, peals of thunder, rumblings, and a great earthquake such as had not occurred since men have been on the earth, so great was the quake.
19 E a grande cidade se fendeu em três partes, e as cidades das nações caíram; e a grande Babilônia veio em memória diante de Deus, para dar a ela o cálice do vinho da indignação da sua ira.
The great city was split into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. God remembered Babylon the great and gave her the cup of the wine of the fury of his wrath.
20 E toda ilha fugiu, e os montes não foram achados.
Every island fled, and no mountain could be found.
21 E uma grande granizo, como de peso de um talento, caiu do céu sobre os homens; e os seres humanos blasfemaram a Deus por causa da praga do granizo, porque a sua praga era muito grande.
And great hailstones, about the weight of a talent, fell on people from heaven, and they blasphemed God for the plague of the hail, because the plague was so severe.
