Salmos 93

1 O SENHOR reina. Ele está vestido de majestade; o SENHOR está vestido de poder, [com o qual] se envolveu. O mundo está firmado, não se abalará.

The Praise of a Canticle, of David himself. In the time before the Sabbath, when the earth was founded. The Lord has reigned. He has been clothed with beauty. The Lord has been clothed with strength, and he has girded himself. Yet he has also confirmed the world, which will not be moved.

2 Teu trono está firme desde o passado; tu [és] desde a eternidade.

My throne is prepared from of old. You are from everlasting.

3 SENHOR, os rios levantam; os rios levantam seus ruídos; os rios levantam suas ondas.

The floods have lifted up, O Lord, the floods have lifted up their voice. The floods have lifted up their waves,

4 [Porém] o SENHOR nas alturas é mais forte que os ruídos de muitas águas, [mais que] as fortes ondas do mar.

before the noise of many waters. Wondrous are the surges of the sea; wondrous is the Lord on high.

5 Muito fiéis são teus testemunhos; a santidade embeleza tua casa, SENHOR, para sempre.

Your testimonies have been made exceedingly trustworthy. Sanctity befits your house, O Lord, with length of days.
