Salmos 92

1 Salmo e cântico para o dia do Sábado: Bom é louvar ao SENHOR, e cantar louvores ao teu nome, ó Altíssimo;

A Psalm [or] Song for the sabbath day. [It is a] good [thing] to give thanks to the LORD, and to sing praises to thy name, O Most High.

2 Para anunciar tua bondade pela manhã, e tua fidelidade durante as noites.

To show forth thy loving-kindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night.

3 Com o instrumento de dez cordas, com a lira, e com música de harpa.

Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.

4 Porque tu, SENHOR, tens me alegrado com teus feitos; cantarei de alegria pelas obras de tuas mãos.

For thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.

5 Ó SENHOR, como são grandes tuas obras! Muito profundos são teus pensamentos!

O LORD, how great are thy works! [and] thy thoughts are very deep.

6 O homem bruto não os conhece, nem o tolo entende isto.

A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this.

7 Quando os perversos crescem como a erva, e florescem todos os praticantes de maldade, [assim então] serão destruídos para sempre.

When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; [it is] that they shall be destroyed for ever:

8 Mas tu és Altíssimo para sempre, SENHOR.

But thou, LORD, [art most] high for evermore.

9 Porque eis que teus inimigos, SENHOR, porque eis que teus inimigos pereceram; serão dispersos todos os praticantes de maldade.

For lo, thy enemies, O LORD, for lo, thy enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.

10 Porém tu exaltaste o meu poder, como que um chifre de touro selvagem; eu fui ungido com óleo fresco.

But my horn shalt thou exalt like [the horn of] an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.

11 E meus olhos verão [o fim] dos meus inimigos; meus ouvidos ouvirão [o fim] dos malfeitores que se levantam contra mim.

My eye also shall see [my desire] on my enemies, [and] my ears shall hear [my desire] of the wicked that rise up against me.

12 O justo florescerá como a palma; crescerá como o cedro do Líbano.

The righteous shall flourish like the palm-tree; he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

13 Os [justos] estão plantados na casa do SENHOR, crescerão nos pátios do nosso Deus.

Those that are planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.

14 [Até] na velhice ainda darão fruto; serão fortes e verdes;

They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;

15 Para anunciarem que o SENHOR é correto; ele é minha rocha, e não há perversidade nele.

To show that the LORD [is] upright: [he is] my rock, and [there is] no unrighteousness in him.
