Salmos 77
1 Salmo de Asafe, para o regente, conforme “Jedutum”: Clamo a Deus com minha voz, minha voz a Deus; e ele inclinará seus ouvidos a mim.
To the chief music-maker. After Jeduthun. Of Asaph. A Psalm. I was crying to God with my voice; even to God with my voice, and he gave ear to me.
2 No dia da minha angústia busquei ao Senhor; minha mão estava continuamente estendida; minha alma não se deixava consolar.
In the day of my trouble, my heart was turned to the Lord: my hand was stretched out in the night without resting; my soul would not be comforted.
3 Eu ficava me lembrando de Deus, e gemendo; ficava pensativo, e meu espírito desfalecia. (Selá)
I will keep God in memory, with sounds of grief; my thoughts are troubled, and my spirit is overcome. (Selah)
4 Tu mantiveste abertas as pálpebras dos meus olhos; eu estava perturbado, e não conseguia falar.
You keep my eyes from sleep; I am so troubled that no words come.
5 Eu ficava imaginando os dias antigos, e os anos passados.
My thoughts go back to the days of the past, to the years which are gone.
6 De noite eu me lembrava de minha canção; meditava em meu coração; e meu espírito ficava procurando [entender].
The memory of my song comes back to me in the night; my thoughts are moving in my heart; my spirit is searching with care.
7 Será que o Senhor rejeitará para sempre? E nunca mais mostrará seu favor?
Will the Lord put me away for ever? will he be kind no longer?
8 A sua bondade se acabou para sempre? Ele deu fim à [sua] promessa de geração em geração?
Is his mercy quite gone for ever? has his word come to nothing?
9 Deus se esqueceu de ter misericórdia? Ele encerrou suas compaixões por causa de sua ira? (Selá)
Has God put away the memory of his pity? are his mercies shut up by his wrath? (Selah)
10 Então eu disse: Esta é a minha dor: os anos em que a mão do Altíssimo [agia].
And I said, It is a weight on my spirit; but I will keep in mind the years of the right hand of the Most High.
11 Eu me lembrarei das obras do SENHOR; porque me lembrarei de tuas antigas maravilhas.
I will keep in mind the works of Jah: I will keep the memory of your wonders in the past.
12 Meditarei em todos as tuas obras, e falarei de teus feitos.
I will give thought to all your work, while my mind goes over your acts of power.
13 Deus, santo [é] o teu caminho; quem é deus [tão] grande como [nosso] Deus?
Your way, O God, is holy: what god is so great as our God?
14 Tu [és] o Deus que faz maravilhas; tu fizeste os povos conhecerem teu poder.
You are the God who does works of power: you have made your strength clear to the nations.
15 Com [teu] braço livraste teu povo, os filhos de Jacó e de José. (Selá)
With your arm you have made your people free, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. (Selah)
16 As águas te viram, ó Deus; as águas te viram, [e] tremeram; também os abismos foram abalados.
The waters saw you, O God; the waters saw you, they were in fear: even the deep was troubled.
17 Grandes nuvens derramaram muitas águas; os céus fizeram barulho; e também tuas flechas correram de um lado ao outro.
The clouds sent out water; the skies gave out a sound; truly, your arrows went far and wide.
18 O ruído de teus trovões [estava] nos ventos; relâmpagos iluminaram ao mundo; a terra se abalou e tremou.
The voice of your thunder went rolling on; the world was flaming with the light of the storm; the earth was shaking.
19 Pelo mar [foi] teu caminho; e tuas veredas por muitas águas; e tuas pegadas não foram conhecidas.
Your way was in the sea, and your road in the great waters; there was no knowledge of your footsteps.
20 Guiaste a teu povo como a um rebanho, pela mão de Moisés e de Arão.
You were guiding your people like a flock, by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
