Salmos 72
1 Para SalomãoDeus, dá teus juízos ao rei, e tua justiça ao filho do rei.
“By Solomon.” O God, give unto the king thy decisions, and thy righteousness unto the king's son.
2 Ele julgará a teu povo com justiça, e a teus aflitos com juízo.
He shall decide for thy people with righteousness, and for thy afflicted with justice.
3 Os montes trarão paz ao povo, e os morros [trarão] justiça.
The mountains shall bear peace for the people, and the hills [the same], through righteousness.
4 Ele julgará os pobres do povo, livrará os filhos do necessitado, e quebrará o opressor.
He shall judge the afflicted of the people, he shall give help to the children of the needy; but he shall crush the oppressor.
5 Temerão a ti enquanto durarem o sol e a luz, geração após geração.
They shall fear thee as long as the sun shineth, and in the presence of the moon, throughout all generations.
6 Ele descerá como chuva sobre a [erva] cortada, como as chuvas que regam a terra.
He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass, as showers which are dropping on the earth.
7 Em seus dias o justo florescerá, e [haverá] abundância de paz, até que não [haja] mais a lua.
In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace [shall be] till the moon shall be no more.
8 E ele terá domínio de mar a mar; e desde o rio até os limites da terra.
And he shall have dominion from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.
9 Os moradores dos desertos se inclinarão perante sua presença, e seus inimigos lamberão o pó da terra.
Before him shall bend down those that dwell in the wilderness; and his enemies shall lick the dust.
10 Os reis de Társis e das ilhas trarão presentes; os reis de Sabá e Seba apresentarão bens.
The kings of Tharshish and of the isles shall bring presents: the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.
11 E todos os reis se inclinarão a ele; todas as nações o servirão;
Yea, there shall bow down before him all kings: all nations shall serve him.
12 Porque ele livrará ao necessitado que clamar, e também ao aflito que não tem quem o ajude.
For he will deliver the needy when he crieth; the afflicted also, who hath no helper.
13 Ele será piedoso para o pobre e necessitado, e salvará as almas dos necessitados.
He will spare the poor and needy; and the souls of the needy will he assist.
14 Ele livrará suas almas da falsidade e da violência, e o sangue deles lhe será precioso.
From wrong and violence will he deliver their soul; and precious shall their blood be in his eyes.
15 E ele viverá; e lhe darão ouro de Sabá, e continuamente orarão por ele; o dia todo o bendirão.
And he shall live; and he will give him of the gold of Sheba: and he will pray in his behalf continually; all the time will he bless him.
16 Haverá bastante trigo na terra sobre os cumes dos montes; seu fruto brotará como o Líbano; e desde a cidade florescerão como a erva da terra.
There shall be an abundance of corn in the land; upon the top of the mountains its fruit shall shake like [the trees of] Lebanon; and [men] shall blossom out of the city like herbs of the earth.
17 Seu nome permanecerá para sempre; enquanto o sol durar, seu nome continuará; e se bendirão nele; todas as nações o chamarão de bem-aventurado.
His name will endure for ever; in the presence of the sun his name shall flourish: and men shall bless themselves with him: all nations shall call him happy.
18 Bendito [seja] o SENHOR Deus, o Deus de Israel! Somente ele faz [tais] maravilhas!
Blessed be the Lord the God, the God of Israel, who alone doth wondrous things.
19 E bendito seja seu glorioso nome eternamente; e que sua glória encha toda a terra! Amem, e amém!
And blessed he his glorious name for ever; and with his glory may the whole earth be filled: Amen, and Amen.
