Salmos 50
1 Salmo de Asafe: Deus, o SENHOR Deus fala e chama a terra, desde onde o sol nasce até onde ele se põe.
THE mighty God, even the Lord, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.
2 Desde Sião, a perfeição da beleza, Deus mostra seu imenso brilho.
Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined.
3 Nosso Deus virá, e não ficará calado; fogo queimará adiante dele, e ao redor dele haverá grande tormenta.
Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.
4 Ele chamará aos céus do alto, e à terra, para julgar a seu povo.
He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people.
5 Ajuntai-me meus santos, que confirmam meu pacto por meio de sacrifício.
Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.
6 E os céus anunciarão sua justiça, pois o próprio Deus é o juiz. (Selá)
And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is judge himself. (Selah)
7 Ouve, povo meu, e eu falarei; eu darei testemunho contra ti, Israel; eu sou Deus, o teu Deus.
Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee: I am God, even thy God.
8 Eu não te repreenderei por causa de teus sacrifícios, porque teus holocaustos estão continuamente perante mim.
I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices or thy burnt offerings, to have been continually before me.
9 Não tomarei bezerro de tua casa, [nem] bodes de teus currais;
I will take no bullock out of thy house, nor he goats out of thy folds.
10 Porque todo animal das matas é meu, [e também] os milhares de animais selvagens das montanhas.
For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills.
11 Conheço todas as aves das montanhas, e as feras do campo [estão] comigo.
I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine.
12 Se eu tivesse fome, não te diria, porque meu é o mundo, e tudo o que nele há.
If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof.
13 Comeria eu carne de touros, ou beberia sangue de bodes?
Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?
14 Oferece a Deus sacrifício de louvor, e paga ao Altíssimo os teus votos.
Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High:
15 E clama a mim no dia da angústia; e eu te farei livre, e tu me glorificarás.
And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.
16 Mas Deus diz ao perverso: Para que tu recitas meus estatutos, e pões meu pacto em tua boca?
But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth?
17 Pois tu odeias a repreensão, e lança minhas palavras para detrás de ti.
Seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest my words behind thee.
18 Se vês ao ladrão, tu consentes com ele; e tens tua parte com os adúlteros.
When thou sawest a thief, then thou consentedst with him, and hast been partaker with adulterers.
19 Com tua boca pronuncias o mal, e tua língua gera falsidades.
Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit.
20 Tu te sentas [e] falas contra teu irmão; contra o filho de tua mãe tu dizes ofensas.
Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own mother’s son.
21 Tu fazes estas coisas, e eu fico calado; pensavas que eu seria como tu? Eu te condenarei, e mostrarei [teus males] diante de teus olhos.
These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes.
22 Entendei, pois, isto, vós que vos esqueceis de Deus; para que eu não [vos] faça em pedaços, e não haja quem [vos] livre.
Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver.
23 Quem oferece sacrifício de louvor me glorificará, e ao que cuida de seu caminho, eu lhe mostrarei a salvação de Deus.
Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God.
