Salmos 36
1 Salmo de Davi, servo do SENHOR, para o regente: A transgressão do perverso diz ao meu coração [que] não há temor a Deus perante seus olhos.
To the Chief Musician. Of the Servant of Yahweh—of David. Declareth the transgression of the lawless one, within my heart, There is, no dread of God, before his eyes;
2 Porque ele é [tão] orgulhoso diante de seus olhos [que não] achar [nem] odiar sua própria maldade.
For he flattereth himself [too much] in his own eyes, to find his iniquity—to hate [it].
3 As palavras da boca dele são malícia e falsidade; ele deixou de [fazer] o que é sábio e bom.
The words of his mouth, are iniquity and deceit, he hath left off to show discretion by doing well:
4 Ele planeja maldade em sua cama; fica no caminho que não é bom; não rejeita o mal.
Iniquity, deviseth he upon his bed, —he taketh his stand in a way, not good, Wrong, doth he not abhor!
5 SENHOR, tua bondade [alcança] os céus, e tua fidelidade [chega] até as mais altas nuvens.
O Yahweh! in the heavens, is thy lovingkindness, Thy faithfulness, as far as the fleecy clouds:
6 Tua justiça é como as montanhas de Deus, teus juízos [como] um grande abismo; tu, SENHOR, guardas [a vida] dos homens e dos animais.
Thy righteousness, is like mighty mountains, and, thy just decrees, are a great resounding deep, —Man and beast, thou savest, O Yahweh!
7 Como é preciosa, SENHOR, a tua bondade! Porque os filhos dos homens se abrigam à sombra de tuas asas.
How precious thy lovingkindness, O God, —Therefore, the sons of men, under the shadow of thy wings, seek refuge:
8 Eles se fartam da comida de tua casa, e tu lhes dás de beber [do] ribeiro de teus prazeres.
They abundantly relish the fatness of thy house, —And out of the full stream of thine own pleasures, thou givest them to drink.
9 Porque contigo está a fonte da vida; em tua luz vemos a luz [verdadeira].
For, with thee, is the fountain of life, In thy light, we see light.
10 Estende tua bondade sobre os que te conhecem; e tua justiça sobre os corretos de coração.
Prolong thy lovingkindness unto them who know thee, —and thy righteousness, to the upright in heart.
11 Não venha sobre mim o pé dos arrogantes, e que a não dos perversos não me mova.
Let not the foot of pride reach me, nor, the hand of the lawless, scare me away.
12 Ali cairão os que praticam a maldade; eles foram lançados, e não podem se levantar.
There did the workers of iniquity fall, —thrust down and not able to rise!
