Salmos 22
1 Salmo de Davi para o regente, como em “cerva da manhã”: Deus meu, Deus meu, por que me desamparaste? Longe [estás] de meu livramento [e] das palavras de meu gemido.
To the Chief Musician. On "the Hind of the Dawn." A Melody of David. My GOD, my GOD, why hast thou forsaken me? Far from saving me, The words of my loud lamentation?
2 Deus meu, eu clamo de dia, e tu não me respondes; também [clamo] de noite, e não tenho sossego.
My God! I keep crying—By day, and thou dost not answer, and, By night, and there is no rest for me.
3 Porém tu és Santo, que habitas [nos] louvores de Israel.
But, thou, art holy, Who inhabitest the praises of Israel.
4 Nossos pais confiaram em ti; eles confiaram, e tu os livraste.
In thee, trusted our fathers, They trusted, and thou didst deliver them;
5 Eles clamaram a ti, e escaparam [do perigo]; eles confiaram em ti, e não foram envergonhados.
Unto thee, made they outcry, and escaped, In thee, they trusted, and had not turned pale.
6 Mas eu sou um verme, e não um homem; [sou] humilhado pelos homens, e desprezado pelo povo.
But, I, am a worm and no one, a reproach of men, and despised of a people;
7 Todos os que me veem zombam de mim; abrem os lábios [e] sacodem a cabeça, [dizendo]:
All that see me, laugh at me, —They open wide the mouth, They shake the head: —
8 Ele confiou no “SENHOR”; [agora] que ele o salve e o liberte; pois se agrada nele.
He should trust in Yahweh—let him deliver him, —Let him rescue him, seeing he delighteth in him.
9 Tu és o que me tiraste do ventre; [e] o que me deu segurança, [estando eu] junto aos seios de minha mãe.
For, thou, art he that severed me from the womb, he that caused me to trust, upon the breasts of my mother;
10 Eu fui lançado sobre ti desde [que saí d] o útero; desde o ventre de minha mãe tu [és] meu Deus.
Upon thee, was I cast from the time I was born, From the womb of my mother, my GOD, hast thou been.
11 Não fiques longe de mim, porque a minha angústia está perto; pois não há quem [me] ajude.
Be not far from me, for, distress, is near, For there is none to help.
12 Muitos touros me cercaram; fortes de Basã me rodearam.
Many bulls have surrounded me, Strong oxen of Bashan, have enclosed me;
13 Abriram contra mim suas bocas, [como] leão que despedaça e ruge.
They have opened wide against me their mouth, A lion rending and roaring.
14 Eu me derramei como água, e todos os meus ossos se soltaram uns dos outros; meu coração é como cera, [e] se derreteu por entre meus órgãos.
Like water, am I poured out, and, put out of joint, are all my bones, —My heart, hath become, like wax, it is melted in the midst of my body;
15 Minha força se secou como um caco de barro, e minha língua está grudada no céu da boca; e tu me pões no pó da morte;
Dried as a potsherd, is my strength, And, my tongue, is made to cleave to my gums, And, in the dust of death, wilt thou lay me.
16 Porque cães ficaram ao meu redor; uma multidão de malfeitores me cercou; perfuraram minhas mãos e meus pés.
For dogs have surrounded me, —An assembly of evil doers, have encircled me, They have pierced my hands and my feet,
17 Eu poderia contar todos os meus ossos; eles estão [me] olhando, e prestando atenção em mim.
I may tell all my bones, They, look for—they behold me!
18 Eles repartem entre si minhas roupas; e sobre minha vestimenta eles lançam sortes.
They part my garments among them, and, for my vestment, they cast lots.
19 Porém tu, SENHOR, não fiques longe; força minha, apressa-te para me socorrer.
But, thou, O Yahweh, be not far off, O my help! to aid me, make haste;
20 Livra minha alma da espada; [e] minha vida da violência do cão.
Rescue, from the sword, my life, from the power of the dog, my solitary self:
21 Salva-me da boca do leão; e responde-me dos chifres dos touros selvagens.
Save me from the mouth of the lion, —Yea, from the horns of wild beasts, hast thou delivered me.
22 [Então] eu contarei teu nome a meus irmãos; no meio da congregação eu te louvarei.
I will declare thy Name unto my brethren, —In the midst of the convocation, will I praise thee.
23 Vós que temeis ao SENHOR, louvai a ele! E vós, de toda a semente de Jacó, glorificai a ele! Prestai culto a ele, vós de toda a semente de Israel.
Ye that revere Yahweh, praise him, All ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him, And, stand in awe of him, all ye seed of Israel.
24 Porque ele não desprezou nem abominou a aflição do aflito, nem escondeu seu rosto dele; mas sim, quando [o aflito] clamou, ele [o] ouviu.
For he hath not despised nor abhorred the humbling of the patient one, neither hath he hid his face from him, but, when he cried for help unto him, he heard.
25 Meu louvor será para ti na grande congregação; eu pagarei meus juramentos perante os que o temem.
Of thee, is my praise in the great convocation, My vows, will I pay, before them who revere him.
26 Os humilhados comerão, e ficarão fartos; louvarão ao SENHOR aqueles que o buscam; vosso coração viverá para sempre.
The patient wronged-ones shall eat and be satisfied, They shall praise Yahweh, who are seekers of him, Let your heart live for aye.
27 Todos os extremos da terra se lembrarão [disso], e se converterão ao SENHOR; e todas as gerações das nações adorarão diante de ti.
All the ends of the earth, will remember and turn to Yahweh, Yea all the families of the nations, will bow themselves down before thee,
28 Porque o reino [pertence] ao SENHOR; e ele governa sobre as nações.
For, to Yahweh, belongeth the kingdom, And One to Rule over the nations.
29 Todos os ricos da terra comerão e adorarão, [e] perante o rosto dele se prostrarão todos os que descem ao pó, e [que] não podem manter viva sua alma.
All the great ones of the earth, shall eat and bow down, Before him shall kneel, all that go down to the dust, Even he who had not kept alive, his own soul!
30 A descendência o servirá; ela será contada ao Senhor, para a geração [seguinte].
My seed, shall serve him, It shall be recounted, of the Lord, to a generation that shall come:
31 Chegarão, e anunciarão a justiça dele ao povo que nascer, porque ele [assim] fez.
That his righteousness may be declared to a people to be born, That he wrought with effect!
