Salmos 132
1 Cântico dos degraus: Lembra-te, SENHOR, de Davi, [e] de todas as aflições dele.
A Song of degrees. Jehovah, remember for David all his affliction;
2 Ele, que jurou ao SENHOR, [e] fez um voto ao Poderoso de Jacó,
How he swore unto Jehovah, vowed unto the Mighty One of Jacob:
3 [dizendo]: Não entrarei na tenda de minha casa, nem subirei no leito de minha cama;
I will not come into the tent of my house, I will not go up to the couch of my bed;
4 Não darei sono aos meus olhos, [nem] cochilo às minhas pálpebras;
I will not give sleep to mine eyes, slumber to mine eyelids,
5 Enquanto eu não achar um lugar para o SENHOR, moradas para o Poderoso de Jacó.
Until I find out a place for Jehovah, habitations for the Mighty One of Jacob. ...
6 Eis que ouvimos dela em Efrata, e [a] achamos nos campos de Jaar.
Behold, we heard of it at Ephratah, we found it in the fields of the wood.
7 Entraremos em suas moradas, [e] nos prostraremos perante o escabelo de seus pés.
Let us go into his habitations, let us worship at his footstool.
8 Levanta-te, SENHOR, a teu repouso; tu e a arca de teu poder.
Arise, Jehovah, into thy rest, thou and the ark of thy strength.
9 Que teus sacerdotes se vistam de justiça, e teus santos gritem de alegria.
Let thy priests be clothed with righteousness, and let thy saints shout for joy.
10 Por causa de Davi teu servo, não rejeites o rosto de teu ungido.
For thy servant David's sake, turn not away the face of thine anointed.
11 O SENHOR jurou a Davi [com] fidelidade; dela não se desviará. [Ele disse]: Do fruto do teu ventre porei sobre o teu trono.
Jehovah hath sworn [in] truth unto David; he will not turn from it: Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne;
12 Se teus filhos guardarem meu pacto e meus testemunhos que eu lhes ensinar, também seus filhos se sentarão sobre teu trono para sempre.
If thy children keep my covenant, and my testimonies which I will teach them, their children also for evermore shall sit upon thy throne.
13 Porque o SENHOR escolheu a Sião, desejou-a para sua habitação,
For Jehovah hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his dwelling:
14 [Dizendo]: Este é o meu repouso para sempre; aqui habitarei, pois assim desejei.
This is my rest for ever; here will I dwell, for I have desired it.
15 Abençoarei seu sustento abundantemente, [e] fartarei seus necessitados de pão.
I will abundantly bless her provision; I will satisfy her needy ones with bread;
16 E a seus sacerdotes vestirei de salvação; e seus santos gritarão de alegria abundantemente.
And I will clothe her priests with salvation, and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.
17 Ali farei brotar o poder de Davi; e preparei uma lâmpada para o meu ungido.
There will I cause the horn of David to bud forth; I have ordained a lamp for mine anointed.
18 A seus inimigos vestirei de vergonha; mas sobre ele florescerá sua coroa.
His enemies will I clothe with shame; but upon himself shall his crown flourish.
