Salmos 121

1 Cântico dos degraus: Levanto meus olhos aos montes. De onde virá meu socorro?

A song of degrees. I will lift mine eyes vnto the mountaines, from whence mine helpe shall come.

2 Meu socorro [vem] do SENHOR, que fez os céus e a terra.

Mine helpe commeth from the Lord, which hath made the heauen and the earth.

3 Ele não deixará o teu pé se abalar, nem cochilará o teu guardião.

He wil not suffer thy foote to slippe: for he that keepeth thee, will not slumber.

4 Eis que não cochilará nem dormirá o Guardião de Israel.

Beholde, he that keepeth Israel, wil neither slumber nor sleepe.

5 O SENHOR é o teu guardião; o SENHOR é a sombra à tua direita.

The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shadow at thy right hand.

6 O sol não te ferirá durante o dia, nem a lua durante a noite.

The sunne shall not smite thee by day, nor the moone by night.

7 O SENHOR te guardará de todo mal; ele guardará a tua alma.

The Lord shall preserue thee from all euil: he shall keepe thy soule.

8 O SENHOR guardará tua saída e tua entrada, desde agora e para sempre.

The Lord shall preserue thy going out, and thy comming in from henceforth and for euer.
