Salmos 112

1 Aleluia! Bem-aventurado é o homem que teme ao SENHOR, e que tem muito prazer em seus mandamentos.

Praise ye Yah! How happy is the man who revereth Yahweh, In his commandments, delighteth he greatly;

2 Sua descendência será poderosa na terra; a geração dos corretos será bendita.

Mighty in the earth, shall be his seed, The generation of the upright, shall be blessed;

3 Em sua casa [haverá] bens e riquezas, e sua justiça permanece para sempre.

Wealth and riches, shall be in his house, and, his righteousness, standeth for aye.

4 A luz brilha nas trevas para os corretos, [para quem é] piedoso, misericordioso e justo.

Risen—in darkness, is light to the upright, The gracious and compassionate and righteous.

5 O homem bom é misericordioso, e empresta; ele administra suas coisas com prudência.

Well for a man showing favour and lending! He shall sustain his affairs with justice.

6 Certamente ele nunca se abalará; o justo será lembrado para sempre.

Surely, unto times age-abiding, shall he not be shaken, In remembrance, age-abiding, shall the righteous one remain;

7 Ele não temerá o mau rumor; o seu coração está firme, confiante no SENHOR.

Of evil tidings, shall he not be afraid, Established is his heart, led to trust in Yahweh;

8 Seu firme coração não temerá, até que ele veja [o fim] de seus inimigos.

Upheld is his heart, he shall not be afraid, until that he gazeth on his foes.

9 Ele distribui, e dá aos necessitados; sua justiça permanece para sempre; seu poder será exaltado em glória.

He hath scattered abroad, he hath given to the needy, His righteousness, standeth for aye, His horn, shall be exalted in honour.

10 O perverso verá, e ficará incomodado; rangerá seus dentes, e se consumirá. O desejo dos perversos perecerá.

The lawless one, shall see, and be indignant, his teeth, will he gnash and melt away, The craving of the lawless, shall vanish.
