Salmos 109
1 Salmo de Davi, para o regente: Ó Deus a quem eu louvo, não fiques calado.
To the Chief Musician. David’s. A Melody. O God of my praise, do not be silent;
2 Porque a boca do perverso, e a boca enganadora já se abriram contra mim; falaram de mim com língua falsa.
For, the mouth of the lawless one and the mouth of the deceiver, against me, are open, They have spoken to me with false tongue;
3 E me cercaram com palavras de ódio; e lutaram contra mim sem motivo.
And, with words of hatred, have they surrounded me, and have made war upon me without cause:
4 Fizeram-se contra mim por causa de meu amor; porém eu [me mantenho] em oração.
For my love, they have been accusing me, while, I, was at prayer:
5 Retribuíram o bem com o mal, e o meu amor com ódio.
Yea they have returned unto me—Evil for good; and, Hatred for my love.
6 Põe algum perverso contra ele, e que haja um acusador à sua direita.
Set in charge over him, one who is lawless, and let, an accuser, stand at his right hand;
7 Quando for julgado, que saia condenado; e que a oração dele seja [considerada] como pecado.
When he is judged, let him go out condemned, and let, his own petition, become a sin;
8 Sejam os dias dele poucos, e que outro tome sua atividade.
Let his days become few, his overseership, let another take;
9 Sejam seus filhos órfãos, e sua mulher seja viúva.
Let his children become fatherless, and his wife a widow;
10 E que seus filhos andem sem rumo, e mendiguem; e busquem [para si longe] de suas ruínas.
Let his children, wander about, and beg, Let them be driven out of their ruins;
11 Que o credor tome tudo o que ele tem, e estranhos saqueiem seu trabalho.
Let the creditor take aim at all that he hath, and let strangers prey on the fruit of his toil;
12 Haja ninguém que tenha piedade dele, e haja ninguém que se compadeça de seus órfãos.
Let him have no one to continue lovingkindness, and there be none to favour his fatherless children;
13 Sejam seus descendentes cortados de vez; [e] que o nome deles seja apagado da geração seguinte.
Let his posterity be for cutting off, In another generation, let their name be wiped out;
14 Que a perversidade de seus pais seja lembrada pelo SENHOR, e que o pecado de sua mãe não seja apagado.
Remembered be the iniquity of his fathers against Yahweh, and, the sin of his mother, let it not be wiped out;
15 [Porém que tais coisas] estejam sempre perante o SENHOR, e corte-se a lembrança deles da terra.
Let them be before Yahweh continually, and let the memory of them, be cut off out of the earth.
16 Porque ele não se lembrou de fazer o bem; ao invés disso, perseguiu ao homem humilde e necessitado, e ao de coração quebrado, para [o] matar.
Because that he remembered not to show lovingkindness, but pursued the man that was oppressed and needy, that, the downhearted, he might slay.
17 Já que ele amou a maldição, então que ela lhe sobrevenha; e já que ele não quis a bênção, que esta se afaste dele.
Because he loved cursing, May it have come upon him, Because he delighted not in blessing, May it have kept far from him;
18 E ele seja revestido de maldição, como se lhe fosse sua roupa, como água dentro do seu corpo, e como óleo em seus ossos.
Because he clothed himself in cursing as his outer garment, therefore may it have entered like water into his inward part, and like oil into his bones;
19 Que ela seja como uma roupa com que ele se cubra, e como cinto com que ele sempre põe ao seu redor.
Be it his, as a garment he shall wrap round him, and for a girdle he shall, at all times, gird on:
20 Isto seja o pagamento do SENHOR para os meus adversários, e para os que falam mal contra minha alma.
This, be the reward of mine accusers, from Yahweh, even of them who are speaking wrongfully against my life.
21 Porém tu, Senhor DEUS, me trata [bem] por causa do teu nome; por ser boa a tua misericórdia, livra-me;
But, thou, Yahweh, Adonay, deal effectually with me, for the sake of thy Name, Since good is thy lovingkindness, O rescue me;
22 Porque estou aflito e necessitado; e meu coração está ferido dentro de mim.
For, oppressed and needy, I am, and, my heart, is wounded within me.
23 Eu vou como a sombra, que declina; estou sendo sacudido como um gafanhoto.
As a shadow when it stretcheth out, I am gone, I am shaken off like the locust;
24 Meus joelhos estão fracos de [tanto] jejuar; minha carne está magra, sem gordura alguma.
My knees, tremble from fasting, and, my flesh, faileth of fatness:
25 E eu por eles sou humilhado; quando me veem, sacodem suas cabeças.
So, I, am become a reproach for them, They see me, they shake their head.
26 Socorre-me, SENHOR Deus meu; salva-me conforme a tua bondade;
Help me! O Yahweh my God, Save me, according to thy lovingkindness:
27 Para que saibam que esta é a tua mão; e que assim tu a fizeste.
That they may know that, Thine own hand, this is, Thou, Yahweh, hast done it.
28 Maldigam eles, mas bendize tu; levantem-se eles, mas sejam envergonhados; e o teu servo se alegre.
They, may curse if, thou, wilt bless, —Mine assailants, shall be ashamed, but, thy servant, shall rejoice;
29 Que meus adversários se vistam de vergonha, e cubram-se com sua própria humilhação, como [se fosse] uma capa.
Mine accusers shall be clothed with confusion, and shall wrap about them, like a cloak, their own shame.
30 Agradecerei grandemente ao SENHOR com minha boca, e no meio de muitos eu o louvarei;
I will thank Yahweh loudly with my mouth, Yea, in the midst of multitudes, will I praise him;
31 Porque ele se põe à direita do necessitado, para [o] livrar daqueles que atacam a sua alma.
Because he standeth at the right hand of the needy, To save, from them who would pass sentence on his life.
