Salmos 104
1 Louva, minha alma, ao SENHOR; ó SENHOR meu Deus, tu és grandioso; de majestade e de glória estás vestido.
Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honor and majesty.
2 Tu estás coberto de luz, como que uma roupa; estendes os céus como cortinas.
Who coverest [thyself] with light as [with] a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain:
3 Ele, que fixou seus cômodos sobre as águas; que faz das nuvens sua carruagem; que se move sobre as asas do vento.
Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind:
4 Que faz de seus anjos ventos, e de seus servos fogo flamejante.
Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:
5 Ele fundou a terra sobre suas bases; ela jamais se abalará.
[Who] laid the foundations of the earth, [that] it should not be removed for ever.
6 Com o abismo, como um vestido, tu a cobriste; sobre os montes estavam as águas.
Thou coveredst it with the deep as [with] a garment: the waters stood above the mountains.
7 Elas fugiram de tua repreensão; pela voz de teu trovão elas se recolheram apressadamente.
At thy rebuke they fled; at the voice of thy thunder they hasted away.
8 Os montes subiram [e] os vales desceram ao lugar que tu lhes tinha fundado.
They go up by the mountains; they go down by the valleys to the place which thou hast founded for them.
9 Tu [lhes] puseste um limite, que não ultrapassarão; não voltarão mais a cobrir a terra.
Thou hast set a bound that they may not pass over; that they turn not again to cover the earth.
10 Ele envia fontes aos vales, para que corram por entre os montes.
He sendeth the springs into the valleys, [which] run among the hills.
11 Elas dão de beber a todos os animais do campo; os asnos selvagens matam a sede [com elas].
They give drink to every beast of the field: the wild asses quench their thirst.
12 Junto a elas habitam as aves dos céus, que dão [sua] voz dentre os ramos.
By them shall the fowls of the heaven have their habitation, [which] sing among the branches.
13 Ele rega os montes desde seus cômodos; a terra se farta do fruto de tuas obras.
He watereth the hills from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works.
14 Ele faz brotar a erva para os animais, e as plantas para o trabalho do homem, fazendo da terra produzir o pão,
He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth;
15 E o vinho, que alegra o coração do homem, [e] faz o rosto brilhar o rosto com o azeite; com o pão, que fortalece o coração do homem.
And wine [that] maketh glad the heart of man, [and] oil to make [his] face to shine, and bread [which] strengtheneth man's heart.
16 As árvores do SENHOR são fartamente [nutridas], os cedros do Líbano, que ele plantou.
The trees of the LORD are full [of sap]; the cedars of Lebanon, which he hath planted;
17 Onde as aves fazem ninhos, e os pinheiros são as casas para as cegonhas.
Where the birds make their nests: [as for] the stork, the fir-trees [are] her house.
18 Os altos montes são para as cabras selvagens; as rochas, refúgio para os coelhos.
The high hills [are] a refuge for the wild goats; [and] the rocks for the conies.
19 Ele fez a lua para [marcar] os tempos, e o sol sobre seu poente.
He appointeth the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth his going down.
20 Ele dá ordens à escuridão, e faz haver noite, quando saem todos os animais do mato.
Thou makest darkness, and it is night: in which all the beasts of the forest do creep [forth].
21 Os filhos dos leões, rugindo pela presa, e para buscar de Deus sua comida.
The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their food from God.
22 Quando o sol volta a brilhar, [logo] se recolhem, e vão se deitar em suas tocas.
The sun ariseth, they collect, and lay themselves down in their dens.
23 Então o homem sai para seu trabalho e sua obra até o entardecer.
Man goeth forth to his work and to his labor until the evening.
24 Como são muitas as suas obras, SENHOR! Tu fizeste todas com sabedoria; a terra está cheia de teus bens.
O LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.
25 Este grande e vasto mar, nele há inúmeros seres, animais pequenos e grandes.
[So is] this great and wide sea, in which [are] creeping animals innumerable, both small and great beasts.
26 Por ali andam os navios e o Leviatã que formastes, para que te alegrasses nele.
There go the ships: [there is] that leviathan, [which] thou hast made to play therein.
27 Todos eles aguardam por ti, que [lhes] dês seu alimento a seu tempo [devido].
These wait all upon thee; that thou mayest give [them] their food in due season.
28 O que tu dás, eles recolhem; tu abres tua mão, [e] eles se fartam de coisas boas.
[That which] thou givest them, they gather: thou openest thy hand, they are filled with good.
29 [Quando] tu escondes teu rosto, eles ficam perturbados; [quando] tu tiras o fôlego deles, [logo] eles morrem, e voltam ao seu pó.
Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled: thou takest away their breath, they die, and return to their dust.
30 Tu envias o teu fôlego, e logo são criados; e [assim] tu renovas a face da terra.
Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renewest the face of the earth.
31 A glória do SENHOR será para sempre; alegre-se o SENHOR em suas obras.
The glory of the LORD shall endure for ever: the LORD shall rejoice in his works.
32 [Quando] ele olha para a terra, [logo] ela treme; [quando] ele toca nos montes, eles soltam fumaça.
He looketh on the earth, and it trembleth: he toucheth the hills, and they smoke.
33 Cantarei ao SENHOR em [toda] a minha vida; tocarei música ao meu Deus enquanto eu existir.
I will sing to the LORD as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.
34 Meus pensamentos lhe serão agradáveis; eu me alegrarei no SENHOR.
My meditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the LORD.
35 Os pecadores serão consumidos da terra, e os maus não existirão mais. Bendizei, ó minha alma, ao SENHOR! Aleluia!
Let sinners be consumed out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless thou the LORD, O my soul. Praise ye the LORD.
