Salmos 102
1 Oração do aflito, quando ele se viu desfalecido, e derramou sua súplica diante do SENHOR: Ó SENHOR, ouve minha oração; e que meu clamor chegue a ti.
A Prayer for the Humbled One when he is about to faint, and, before Yahweh, poureth out his grief. O Yahweh, hear thou my prayer, and let, my cry for help, unto thee, enter in.
2 Não escondas de mim o teu rosto no dia da minha angústia; inclina a mim teu ouvidos; no dia em que eu clamar, apressa-te para me responder.
Do not hide thy face from me, In the day when I am in distress, —Bend down unto me thine ear, In the day when I call, speedily answer me.
3 Porque os meus dias têm se desfeito como fumaça; e meus ossos se têm se queimado como [n] um forno.
For, consumed in smoke, are my days, And, my bones, like a burning mass, are scorched through;
4 Meu coração, tal como a erva, está tão ferido e seco, que me esqueci de comer meu pão.
Smitten like herbage, so is my heart dried up, For I have forgotten to eat my food.
5 Por causa da voz do meu gemido, meus ossos têm se grudado à minha carne.
At the noise of my groaning, my bone, hath cleaved, to my flesh:
6 Estou semelhante a uma ave no deserto, estou como uma coruja num lugar desabitado.
I am like the pelican of the desert, I have become as an owl among ruins.
7 Fico alerta e estou como um pardal solitário sobre o telhado.
I have watched and am become, Like a bird sitting alone upon a housetop.
8 Os meus inimigos me insultam o dia todo; os que me odeiam juram [maldições] contra mim.
All the day, have mine enemies, reproached me, And, they who are mad against me, by me, have sworn.
9 Porque estou comendo cinza como [se fosse] pão, e misturo minha bebida com lágrimas,
For, ashes—like bread, have I eaten, And, my drink—with my tears, have I mingled;
10 Por causa de tua irritação e tua ira; porque tu me levantaste e me derrubaste.
Because of thine indignation and thy wrath, For thou hast lifted me up, and cast me down.
11 Meus dias [têm sido] como a sombra, que declina; e eu estou secando como a erva.
My days, are like a shadow extended, And, I, as green herbage, do wither.
12 Porém tu, SENHOR, permaneces para sempre; e tua lembrança [continua] geração após geração.
But, thou, O Yahweh, age-abidingly wilt remain, And the memorial of thee, to generation after generation.
13 Tu te levantarás, e terás piedade de Sião; porque chegou o tempo determinado para se apiedar dela.
Thou, wilt arise, wilt have compassion upon Zion, Surely it is time to favour her, Surely the time appointed, hath come;
14 Pois os teus servos se agradam de suas pedras, e sentem compaixão do pó de suas [ruínas].
Seeing that thy servants, take pleasure, in her stones, And, her dust, they favour:
15 Então as nações temerão o nome do SENHOR; e todos os reis da terra [temerão] a tua glória;
That the nations may revere thy Name, O Yahweh, And all the kings of the earth, thy glory.
16 Quando o SENHOR edificar a Sião, [e] aparecer em sua glória;
When Yahweh, hath built up, Zion, Hath appeared in his glory;
17 E der atenção à oração do desamparado, e não desprezar sua oração.
Hath turned towards the prayer of the destitute, And not despised their prayer,
18 Isto será escrito para a geração futura; e o povo que for criado louvará ao SENHOR;
This, shall be written, for a later generation, And, a people to be created, will give praise unto Yah: —
19 Porque ele olhará desde o alto de seu santuário; o SENHOR olhará desde os céus para a terra,
That he looked down, out of his holy height, Yahweh, from the heavens unto the earth, directed his gaze; —
20 Para ouvir o gemido dos prisioneiros; para soltar aos sentenciados à morte.
To hear the groaning of the prisoner, To set free, them who were appointed to death.
21 Para eles anunciarem o nome do SENHOR em Sião, e seu louvor em Jerusalém.
To the end the Name of Yahweh, might be celebrated in Zion, And his praise in Jerusalem:
22 Quando os povos se reunirem, e os reinos, para servirem ao SENHOR.
When the peoples, gather themselves together, And the kingdoms, to serve Yahweh.
23 Ele abateu minha força no caminho; abreviou os meus dias.
He hath prostrated, in the way, my strength, —He hath shortened my days.
24 Eu dizia: Meu Deus, não me leves no meio dos meus dias; teus anos são [eternos], geração após geração.
I said, O my GOD, do not remove me in the midst of my days, Throughout the generation of generations, are thy years;
25 Desde muito antes fundaste a terra; e os céus são obra de tuas mãos.
Of old—the earth, thou didst found, And, the work of thy hands, are the heavens;
26 Eles se destruirão, porém tu permanecerás; e todos eles como vestimentas se envelhecerão; como roupas tu os mudarás, e serão mudados.
They, shall perish, But, thou, wilt abide; And, they all, like a garment, shall fall in pieces, As a vesture, wilt thou change them and they shall vanish;
27 Porém tu és o mesmo; e teus anos nunca se acabarão.
But, thou, art, the same, —And, thy years, shall have no end:
28 Os filhos de teus servos habitarão [seguros], e a semente deles será firmada perante ti.
The children of thy servants, shall continue, —And, their seed, before thee, be established.
