Filipenses 3
1 No restante, meus irmãos, alegrai-vos no Senhor. Não me é incômodo escrever as mesmas coisas, e [isso é] para a vossa segurança.
Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed [is] not grievous, but for you [it is] safe.
2 Cuidado com os cães! Cuidado com os que operam o mal! Cuidado com a mutilação!
Beware of dogs, beware of evil-workers, beware of the concision.
3 Pois a circuncisão somos nós, que servimos a Deus [pelo] Espírito, orgulhamo-nos em Cristo Jesus, e não confiamos na carne.
For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.
4 Embora eu também tenho como confiar na carne. Se outro alguém pensa que pode confiar na carne, ainda mais eu:
Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath reason to trust in the flesh, I more:
5 circuncidado ao oitavo dia, da descendência de Israel, da tribo de Benjamim, hebreu de hebreus; segundo a lei, fariseu;
Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, [of] the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of the Hebrews; with respect to the law, a Pharisee;
6 segundo o zelo, perseguidor da Igreja; segundo a justiça que há na lei, irrepreensível.
Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; with respect to the righteousness which is by the law, blameless.
7 Mas o que para mim era ganho considerei como perda, por causa de Cristo.
But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.
8 E, na verdade, considero também todas as coisas como perda, por causa da superioridade de conhecer a Cristo Jesus, meu Senhor. Por ele aceitei perder todas [essas] coisas, e as considero como dejetos, a fim de que eu possa ganhar a Cristo;
Yes doubtless, and I count all things [to be] loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them [to be] dung, that I may win Christ,
9 e que eu seja achado nele, não tendo a minha justiça proveniente da Lei, mas sim a que é pela fé em Cristo, a justiça da parte de Deus pela fé;
And be found in him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith:
10 para eu conhecer a ele, assim como o poder de sua ressurreição e a comunhão em seus sofrimentos, tornando-me conforme a ele em sua morte;
That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable to his death;
11 para que, de alguma maneira, eu alcance a ressurreição dos mortos.
If by any means I may attain to the resurrection of the dead.
12 Não que eu já [a] tenha obtido, ou que já seja perfeito; mas sigo a fim de alcançar aquilo para o qual eu também fui alcançado por Cristo Jesus.
Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I pursue, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended by Christ Jesus.
13 Irmãos, não considero como se já a tivesse obtido; mas uma coisa [faço]: esqueço as coisas que ficam para trás, e avanço para as que estão adiante,
Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but [this] one thing [I do], forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forward to those things which are before,
14 e prossigo para o alvo, ao prêmio do chamado de cima, de Deus em Cristo Jesus.
I press towards the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
15 Por isso, todos nós que somos maduros, tenhamos essa [mesma] mentalidade; e se em algo pensais de maneira diferente, Deus também vos revelará isso.
Let us therefore, as many as are perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye are otherwise minded, God will reveal even this to you.
16 Porém andemos conforme aquilo a que já chegamos.
Nevertheless, to what we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.
17 Sede meus imitadores, irmãos, e observai atentamente os que assim andam, como o exemplo que tendes em nós;
Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them who walk so as ye have us for an example.
18 pois, como muitas vezes eu vos disse, e agora também digo chorando, muitos andam como inimigos da cruz de Cristo.
(For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, [that they are] the enemies of the cross of Christ:
19 O fim deles é a perdição. O Deus deles é o ventre, e têm orgulho do que deviam se envergonhar. Eles se importam mais com as coisas terrenas.
Whose end [is] destruction, whose God [is their] belly, and [whose] glory [is] in their shame, who mind earthly things.)
20 Mas nós somos cidadãos dos céus, de onde também esperamos um Salvador, o Senhor Jesus Cristo.
For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ:
21 Ele transformará o nosso degradante corpo, para que seja conforme o seu corpo glorioso, segundo a operação do seu poder de sujeitar para si todas as coisas.
Who will change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like to his glorious body, according to the working by which he is able even to subdue all things to himself.
