Filipenses 2
1 Portanto, se há alguma consolação em Cristo, se há algum conforto de amor, se há alguma comunhão do Espírito, se há afetos e compaixões,
If, then, any exhortation [is] in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of [the] Spirit, if any yearnings and mercies,
2 completai a minha alegria: que penseis da mesma maneira, tenhais o mesmo amor, sejais unidos de ânimo, tendo um mesmo modo de pensar.
fulfill my joy, that you may mind the same thing—having the same love—of one soul—minding the one thing,
3 Nada [façais] por rivalidade egoísta nem por vanglória; ao contrário, por humildade cada um considere o outro superior a si mesmo.
nothing in rivalry or vainglory, but in humility of mind counting one another more excellent than yourselves—
4 Cada um não cuide [somente] do que é seu; mas cada um cuide também do que é dos outros.
do not each look to your own, but each also to the things of others.
5 Isto seja, para que esteja em vós este modo de pensar, que também esteve em Cristo Jesus:
For let this mind be in you that [is] also in Christ Jesus,
6 mesmo ele sendo em forma de Deus, não considerou a igualdade a Deus como algo para se apegar;
who, being in the form of God, thought [it] not something to be seized to be equal to God,
7 Pelo contrário, ele esvaziou a si mesmo, tomando a forma de servo, e se tornou semelhante aos homens;
but emptied Himself, having taken the form of a servant, having been made in the likeness of men,
8 e, quando se encontrava em forma humana, ele humilhou a si mesmo, sendo obediente até a morte, e morte de cruz.
and having been found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself, having become obedient to death—even death of a cross,
9 Por isso Deus também o exaltou supremamente, e lhe deu o nome que é acima de todo nome;
for this reason, also, God highly exalted Him, and gave to Him a Name that [is] above every name,
10 a fim de que no nome de Jesus se dobre todo joelho dos que estão nos céus, na terra, e debaixo da terra,
that in the Name of Jesus every knee may bow—of heavenlies, and earthlies, and what are under the earth—
11 e toda língua confesse que Jesus Cristo é o Senhor, para a glória de Deus Pai.
and every tongue may confess that Jesus Christ [is] LORD, to the glory of God the Father.
12 Portanto, meus amados, assim como sempre obedecestes, não somente na minha presença, mas muito mais agora na minha ausência, assim exercei a vossa salvação com temor e tremor;
So that, my beloved, as you always obey, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling,
13 pois é Deus quem opera em vós tanto o querer como o agir, conforme a [sua] boa vontade.
for it is God who is working in you both to will and to work for His good pleasure.
14 Fazei tudo sem murmurações nem brigas,
Do all things without murmurings and deliberations,
15 para que sejais irrepreensíveis e puros, filhos de Deus, inculpáveis no meio de uma geração corrupta e perversa, na qual brilhais como luminárias no mundo;
that you may become blameless and pure children of God, unblemished in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as luminaries in the world,
16 e mantende a palavra da vida, para que no dia de Cristo eu possa me orgulhar de que não tenho corrido nem trabalhado em vão.
holding forth the word of life, for rejoicing to me in regard to [the] Day of Christ, that I did not run in vain, nor did I labor in vain;
17 E ainda que eu seja derramado como oferta sobre o sacrifício e serviço da vossa fé, alegro-me e contento-me com todos vós;
but if I also am poured forth on the sacrifice and service of your faith, I rejoice and am glad with you all,
18 e, pelo mesmo motivo, alegrai-vos e contentai-vos comigo.
because of this you also rejoice and are glad with me.
19 Tenho esperança no Senhor Jesus de em breve vos enviar Timóteo, para que também eu me anime quando souber notícias de vós.
And I hope, in the Lord Jesus, to send Timotheus to you quickly, that I also may be of good spirit, having known the things concerning you,
20 Pois não tenho ninguém de mesmo ânimo que se importe sinceramente convosco,
for I have no one like-minded, who will sincerely care for the things concerning you,
21 pois todos buscam as suas próprias coisas, e não as de Cristo Jesus.
for the whole seek their own things, not the things of Christ Jesus,
22 Mas vós sabeis a prova que ele passou, porque serviu comigo no Evangelho como um filho ao pai.
and you know his proof, that as a child [serves] a father, he served with me in regard to the good news;
23 Assim, pois, espero enviá-lo, tão logo eu veja o que há de haver comigo.
I indeed hope to send him, when I may see through the things concerning me—immediately;
24 Mas confio no Senhor de que também eu mesmo virei em breve.
and I trust in the LORD that I will also come quickly myself.
25 Julguei necessário, porém, enviar-vos Epafrodito, meu irmão, cooperador, e companheiro de batalha, mensageiro enviado por vós, e auxiliador naquilo que necessito;
And I thought [it] necessary to send to you Epaphroditus—my brother and fellow-workman and fellow-soldier, and your apostle and servant to my need,
26 porque ele tinha muitas saudades de todos vós, e estava muito angustiado por haverdes ouvido de que ele havia ficado doente.
seeing he was longing after you all, and in heaviness, because you heard that he ailed,
27 E ele ficou mesmo doente, quase a morrer; mas o Deus dele teve misericórdia, não somente dele, mas também de mim, para que eu não tivesse tristeza após tristeza.
for he also ailed near to death, but God dealt kindly with him, and not with him only, but also with me, that I might not have sorrow on sorrow.
28 Por isso eu o enviei mais depressa, a fim de que, vendo-o de novo, alegrei-vos e eu fique menos triste.
The more eagerly, therefore, I sent him, that having seen him again you may rejoice, and I may be less sorrowful;
29 Recebei-o, pois, no Senhor, com toda alegria; e honrai ao que são como ele;
receive him, therefore, in the LORD, with all joy, and hold such in honor,
30 pois, por causa da obra de Cristo, ele chegou perto da morte, arriscando a sua própria vida para suprir em meu benefício a falta do vosso serviço.
because on account of the work of the Christ he drew near to death, having hazarded life that he might fill up your deficiency of service to me.
