1 E aconteceu, que quando Moisés acabou de levantar o tabernáculo, e o ungido, e o santificado, com todos os seus utensílios; e também ungido e santificado o altar, com todos os seus utensílios;
On the same day that Moses finished putting up the Tabernacle, he anointed it and dedicated it, along with all its furniture, the altar, and all its utensils.
2 Então os príncipes de Israel, os chefes das casas de seus pais, os quais eram os príncipes das tribos, que estavam sobre os contados, ofereceram;
The Israelite leaders who were the heads of their families came and gave an offering. They were the same leaders of the tribes who had worked on the registration of the Israelites.
3 E trouxeram suas ofertas diante do SENHOR, seis carros cobertos, e doze bois; por cada dois príncipes um carro, e cada um deles um boi; o qual ofereceram diante do tabernáculo.
They brought to the Lord an offering of six covered wagons and twelve oxen. Each leader gave an ox, and two leaders shared in giving a wagon. They presented them in front of the Tabernacle.
4 E o SENHOR falou a Moisés, dizendo:
The Lord told Moses,
5 Toma-o deles, e será para o serviço do tabernáculo do testemunho: e o darás aos levitas, a cada um conforme seu ministério.
“Accept what they're giving you and use them in the work of the Tent of Meeting. Give them to the Levites to use as required.”
6 Então Moisés recebeu os carros e os bois, e deu-os aos levitas.
Moses accepted the wagons and oxen and handed them over to the Levites.
7 Dois carros e quatro bois, deu aos filhos de Gérson, conforme seu ministério;
He gave two wagons and four oxen to the families of Gershon to use as they required.
8 E aos filhos de Merari deu os quatro carros e oito bois, conforme seu ministério, sob a mão de Itamar, filho de Arão o sacerdote.
He gave four wagons and eight oxen to the families of Merari, to use as they required. The work was all to be done under the direction of Ithamar, son of Aaron the priest.
9 E aos filhos de Coate não deu; porque levavam sobre si nos ombros o serviço do santuário.
He didn't give any wagons or oxen to the Kohathites because their responsibility was to carry on their shoulders the holy objects assigned to their care.
10 E ofereceram os príncipes à dedicação do altar o dia que foi ungido, ofereceram os príncipes sua oferta diante do altar.
The day the altar was anointed, the leaders came forward with their dedicatory offerings, presenting them in front of it.
11 E o SENHOR disse a Moisés: Oferecerão sua oferta, um príncipe um dia, e outro príncipe outro dia, à dedicação do altar.
The Lord told Moses, “Have one leader come every day and present his offering for the dedication of the altar.”
12 E o que ofereceu sua oferta o primeiro dia foi Naassom filho de Aminadabe, da tribo de Judá.
The first day Nahshon, son of Amminadab, of the tribe of Judah came forward with his offering.
13 E foi sua oferta um prato de prata de peso de cento e trinta siclos, e uma bacia de prata de setenta siclos, ao siclo do santuário; ambos cheios de boa farinha amassada com azeite para oferta de cereais;

84 Esta foi a dedicação do altar, no dia que foi ungido, pelos príncipes de Israel: doze pratos de prata, doze bacias de prata, doze colheres de ouro.
So on the day the altar was anointed, the dedicatory offerings brought by the Israelite leaders were twelve silver plates, twelve silver bowls, and twelve gold dishes.
85 Cada prato de cento e trinta siclos, cada bacia de setenta: toda a prata dos vasos, dois mil e quatrocentos siclos, ao siclo do santuário.
Each silver platter weighed a hundred and thirty shekels, and each bowl weighed seventy shekels. The total weight of the silver was two thousand four hundred shekels, (using the sanctuary shekel standard).
86 As doze colheres de ouro cheias de incenso, de dez siclos cada colher, ao siclo do santuário: todo o ouro das colheres, cento e vinte siclos.
The twelve gold dishes filled with incense each weighed ten shekels, (using the sanctuary shekel standard). The total weight of the gold was a hundred and twenty shekels.
87 Todos os bois para holocausto, doze bezerros; doze os carneiros, doze os cordeiros de ano, com sua oferta de cereais: e doze os machos de bode, para expiação.
The animals presented as a burnt offering were twelve bulls, twelve rams, and twelve one-year-old male lambs, as well as their grain offerings, and twelve male goats as the sin offering.
88 E todos os bois do sacrifício pacífico vinte e quatro novilhos, sessenta os carneiros, sessenta os machos de bode, sessenta os cordeiros de ano. Esta foi a dedicação do altar, depois que foi ungido.
The animals presented as a peace offering were twenty-four bulls, sixty rams, sixty male goats, and sixty one-year-old male lambs. This was the dedicatory offering for the altar once it had been anointed.
89 E quando entrava Moisés no tabernáculo do testemunho, para falar com Ele, ouvia a Voz que lhe falava de cima do propiciatório que estava sobre a arca do testemunho, dentre os dois querubins: e falava com ele.
Whenever Moses went into the Tent of Meeting to speak with the Lord, he would hear the voice speaking to him from the atonement cover on the Ark of the Testimony between the two cherubim. This is how the Lord spoke to him.
