E levantaram-se todos os seus filhos e todas as suas filhas para consolá-lo; mas ele não quis receber consolação, e disse: Porque eu tenho de descer ao meu filho com luto ao Xeol. E seu pai chorou por ele. (Sheol h7585)
All his sons and all his daughters rose up to comfort him, but he refused to be comforted. He said, "For I will go down to Sheol (Sheol h7585) to my son, mourning." His father wept for him.
E ele disse: Não descerá meu filho convosco; que seu irmão é morto, e ele somente restou; e se lhe acontecer algum desastre no caminho por onde vades, fareis descer meus cabelos brancos com tristeza ao Xeol. (Sheol h7585)
He said, "My son shall not go down with you; for his brother is dead, and he only is left. If harm happens to him along the way in which you go, then you will bring down my gray hairs with sorrow to Sheol (Sheol h7585)."
E se tomardes também este de diante de mim, e lhe acontecer algum desastre, fareis descer meus cabelos grisalhos com tristeza ao Xeol. (Sheol h7585)
If you take this one also from me, and harm happens to him, you will bring down my gray hairs with sorrow to Sheol (Sheol h7585).'
Sucederá que quando perceber a ausência do jovem, morrerá; e teus servos farão descer os cabelos grisalhos de teu servo, nosso pai, com tristeza ao Xeol. (Sheol h7585)
it will happen, when he sees that the boy is no more, that he will die. Your servants will bring down the gray hairs of your servant, our father, with sorrow to Sheol (Sheol h7585).
Mas se o SENHOR fizer uma nova coisa, e a terra abrir sua boca, e os tragar com todas suas coisas, e descerem vivos ao Xeol, então conhecereis que estes homens irritaram ao SENHOR. (Sheol h7585)
But if the LORD makes a new thing, and the ground opens its mouth, and swallows them up with all that belong to them, and they go down alive into Sheol (Sheol h7585), then you shall understand that these men have despised the LORD."
E eles, com tudo o que tinham, desceram vivos ao Xeol, a a terra os cobriu, e pereceram do meio da congregação. (Sheol h7585)
So they, and all that belonged to them went down alive into Sheol (Sheol h7585). The earth closed on them, and they perished from among the assembly.
Porque um fogo se acendeu em meu furor, e arderá até as profundezas do Xeol; e consumirá a terra e seus frutos, e abrasará os fundamentos dos montes. (Sheol h7585)
For a fire is kindled in my anger, that burns to the lowest Sheol (Sheol h7585), devours the earth with its increase, and sets the foundations of the mountains on fire.
O SENHOR mata e dá vida; ele faz descer ao Xeol, e faz [de lá] subir. (Sheol h7585)
"The LORD kills and makes alive. He brings down to Sheol (Sheol h7585) and brings up.
As cordas do Xeol me rodearam, e laços de morte me tomaram desprevenido. (Sheol h7585)
The cords of Sheol (Sheol h7585) were around me. The snares of death caught me.
Tu, pois, farás conforme a tua sabedoria; não o deixarás descer ao Xeol na velhice em paz. (Sheol h7585)
Do therefore according to your wisdom, and do not let his gray head go down to Sheol (Sheol h7585) in peace.
Porém agora não o absolverás; porque és homem sábio, e sabes como agirás para com ele; e farás seus cabelos grisalhos descerem com sangue ao Xeol. (Sheol h7585)
Now therefore do not hold him guiltless, for you are a wise man; and you will know what you ought to do to him, and you shall bring his gray head down to Sheol (Sheol h7585) with blood."
A nuvem se esvaece, e passa; assim também quem desce ao Xeol nunca voltará a subir. (Sheol h7585)
As the cloud is consumed and vanishes away, so he who goes down to Sheol (Sheol h7585) will come up no more.
[Sua sabedoria] é mais alta que os céus; que tu poderás fazer? E mais profunda que o Xeol; que tu poderás conhecer? (Sheol h7585)
They are high as heaven. What can you do? They are deeper than Sheol (Sheol h7585). What can you know?
Ah, se tu me escondesses no Xeol, e me ocultasses até que a tua ira passasse, se me pusesses um limite de tempo, e te lembrasses de mim! (Sheol h7585)
"Oh that you would hide me in Sheol (Sheol h7585), that you would keep me secret until your wrath is past, that you would appoint me a set time and remember me!

If I look for Sheol (Sheol h7585) as my house, if I have spread my couch in the darkness,

They spend their days in prosperity. In an instant they go down to Sheol (Sheol h7585).
A seca e o calor desfazem as águas da neve; assim [faz] o Xeol aos que pecaram. (Sheol h7585)
Drought and heat consume the snow waters, so does Sheol (Sheol h7585) those who have sinned.
O Xeol está nu perante Deus, e não há cobertura para a perdição. (Sheol h7585)
Sheol (Sheol h7585) is naked before God, and Abaddon has no covering.

For in death there is no memory of you. In Sheol (Sheol h7585), who shall give you thanks?

The wicked shall be turned back to Sheol (Sheol h7585), even all the nations that forget God.

For you will not leave my soul in Sheol (Sheol h7585), neither will you allow your holy one to see corruption.

The cords of Sheol (Sheol h7585) were around me. The snares of death came on me.
SENHOR, tu levantaste minha alma do Xeol; preservaste-me a vida, para que eu não descesse à sepultura. (Sheol h7585)
LORD, you have brought up my soul from Sheol (Sheol h7585). You have kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.
SENHOR, não me deixes envergonhado, pois eu clamo a ti; que os perversos se envergonhem e se calem no Xeol. (Sheol h7585)
Let me not be disappointed, LORD, for I have called on you. Let the wicked be disappointed. Let them be silent in Sheol (Sheol h7585).
São como ovelhas levados ao Xeol; a morte se alimentará deles. Os corretos os dominarão pela manhã, e sua beleza será consumida no Xeol, longe de sua morada. (Sheol h7585)

But God will redeem my soul from the power of Sheol (Sheol h7585), for he will receive me. (Selah)

Let death come suddenly on them. Let them go down alive into Sheol (Sheol h7585). For wickedness is among them, in their dwelling.

For your loving kindness is great toward me. You have delivered my soul from the lowest Sheol (Sheol h7585).

The cords of death surrounded me, the pains of Sheol (Sheol h7585) got a hold of me. I found trouble and sorrow.

If I ascend up into heaven, you are there. If I make my bed in Sheol (Sheol h7585), behold, you are there!

"As when one plows and breaks up the earth, our bones are scattered at the mouth of Sheol (Sheol h7585)."

Let's swallow them up alive like Sheol (Sheol h7585), and whole, like those who go down into the pit.

Her feet go down to death. Her steps lead straight to Sheol (Sheol h7585).

But he does not know that the departed spirits are there, that her guests are in the depths of Sheol (Sheol h7585).
O Xeol e a perdição estão perante o SENHOR; quanto mais os corações dos filhos dos homens! (Sheol h7585)
Sheol (Sheol h7585) and Abaddon are before the LORD— how much more then the hearts of the children of men!
Para o prudente, o caminho da vida [é] para cima, para que se afaste do Xeol, que é para baixo. (Sheol h7585)
The path of life leads upward for the wise, to keep him from going downward to Sheol (Sheol h7585).
Tu lhe baterás com a vara, e livrarás a sua alma do Xeol. (Sheol h7585)
Punish him with the rod, and save his soul from Sheol (Sheol h7585).

Sheol (Sheol h7585) and Abaddon are never satisfied; and a man's eyes are never satisfied.

Sheol (Sheol h7585), the barren womb, the earth that is not satisfied with water, and the fire that does not say, 'Enough!'
Tudo quanto vier à tua mão para fazer, faze conforme as tuas forças; porque no Xeol, para onde vais, não há trabalho, nem planos, nem conhecimento, nem sabedoria alguma. (Sheol h7585)
Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work, nor plan, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in Sheol (Sheol h7585), where you are going.
Põe-me como selo sobre o teu coração, como selo sobre o teu braço; porque o amor é forte como a morte, e o ciúme é severo como o Xeol; suas brasas são brasas de fogo, labaredas intensas. (Sheol h7585)
Set me as a seal on your heart, as a seal on your arm; for love is strong as death. Jealousy is as cruel as Sheol (Sheol h7585). Its flashes are flashes of fire, a very flame of the LORD.
Por isso o Xeol alargou seu avidez, e sua boca se abriu tanto que não se pode medir, e [ali] descerão a nobreza e também a multidão, em meio a barulhos e com os que festejam. (Sheol h7585)
Therefore Sheol (Sheol h7585) has enlarged its desire, and opened its mouth without measure; and their glory, their multitude, their pomp, and he who rejoices among them, descend into it.
Pede para ti um sinal do SENHOR teu Deus; pede ou de baixo, das profundezas, ou de cima, das alturas. (Sheol h7585)
"Ask a sign of the LORD your God; ask it either in Sheol (Sheol h7585), or in the height above."
O Xeol desde as profundezas se agitou por causa de ti, para sair ao teu encontro em tua chegada; por causa de ti ele despertou os mortos, todos os líderes da terra, e fez levantar de seus tronos todos os reis das nações. (Sheol h7585)
Sheol (Sheol h7585) from beneath has moved for you to meet you at your coming. It stirs up the departed spirits for you, even all the rulers of the earth. It has raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations.
Tua soberba foi derrubada ao Xeol, assim como o som de tuas harpas; larvas se espalharão por debaixo de ti, e vermes te cobrirão. (Sheol h7585)
Your pomp is brought down to Sheol (Sheol h7585), with the sound of your stringed instruments. Maggots are spread out under you, and worms cover you.
Porém tu serás derrubado ao Xeol, às profundezas da cova. (Sheol h7585)
Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol (Sheol h7585), to the depths of the pit.
Pois dizeis: Fizemos um pacto com a morte, e com o Xeol fizemos um acordo: quando passar a abundância de açoites, não chegará a nós; pois pusemos a mentira como nosso refúgio, e sob a falsidade nos escondemos. (Sheol h7585)
"Because you have said, 'We have made a covenant with death, and we are in agreement with Sheol (Sheol h7585). When the overflowing scourge passes through, it will not come to us; for we have made lies our refuge, and we have hidden ourselves under falsehood.'"
E vosso pacto com a morte se anulará, e vosso acordo com o Xeol não será cumprido; e quando a abundância de açoites passar, então por ela sereis esmagados. (Sheol h7585)
Your covenant with death shall be annulled, and your agreement with Sheol (Sheol h7585) shall not stand. When the overflowing scourge passes through, then you will be trampled down by it.
Disse eu: No meio da minha vida, irei às portas do Xeol; privado estou do resto dos meus anos. (Sheol h7585)
I said, "In the middle of my life I go into the gates of Sheol (Sheol h7585). I am deprived of the residue of my years."
Porque o Xeol não te louvará, [nem] a morte te glorificará; nem esperarão em tua fidelidade os que descem a cova. (Sheol h7585)
For Sheol (Sheol h7585) cannot praise you. Death cannot celebrate you. Those who go down into the pit cannot hope for your truth.
E foste ao rei com óleo, e multiplicaste teus perfumes; e enviaste teus embaixadores para longe, e desceste até o Xeol. (Sheol h7585)
You went to the king with oil, increased your perfumes, sent your ambassadors far off, and degraded yourself even to Sheol (Sheol h7585).
Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: No dia em que ele desceu ao Xeol, eu fiz que houvesse luto, fiz cobrir as profundezas por sua causa; detive suas correntes, e as muitas águas foram retidas; cobri o Líbano de trevas por causa dele, e por sua causa todas as árvores do campo definharam. (Sheol h7585)
"The Lord GOD says: 'In the day when he went down to Sheol (Sheol h7585), I caused a mourning. I covered the deep for him, and I restrained its rivers. The great waters were stopped. I caused Lebanon to mourn for him, and all the trees of the field fainted for him.
Do estrondo de sua queda eu fiz tremer as nações, quando o fiz descer ao Xeol com os que descem à cova; e todas as árvores de Éden, as preferidas e melhores do Líbano, todas as que bebem águas, consolaram-se debaixo da terra. (Sheol h7585)
I made the nations to shake at the sound of his fall, when I cast him down to Sheol (Sheol h7585) with those who descend into the pit. All the trees of Eden, the choice and best of Lebanon, all that drink water, were comforted in the lower parts of the earth.
Também desceram com ele ao Xeol, com os mortos à espada, e os que foram seus apoiadores, os que habitavam à sua sombra no meio das nações. (Sheol h7585)
They also went down into Sheol (Sheol h7585) with him to those who are slain by the sword; yes, those who were his arm, who lived under his shadow in the middle of the nations.
Do meio do Xeol os mais poderosos dos guerreiros, com os seus ajudadores, lhe falarão: Desceram; os incircuncisos jazeram, mortos à espada. (Sheol h7585)
The strong among the mighty will speak to him out of the middle of Sheol (Sheol h7585) with those who help him. They have gone down. The uncircumcised lie still, slain by the sword.
Porém não jazerão com os guerreiros que caíram dos incircuncisos, os quais desceram ao Xeol com suas armas de guerra, e puseram suas espadas debaixo de suas cabeças; mas suas maldades estarão sobre seus ossos, porque foram o terror dos guerreiros na terra dos viventes. (Sheol h7585)
They will not lie with the mighty who are fallen of the uncircumcised, who have gone down to Sheol (Sheol h7585) with their weapons of war and have laid their swords under their heads. Their iniquities are on their bones; for they were the terror of the mighty in the land of the living.
Eu os resgatarei do poder do Xeol e os livrarei da morte. Onde estão, Ó morte, tuas pestilências? Onde está, ó Xeol, tua perdição? A compaixão será escondida de meus olhos. (Sheol h7585)
Ainda que cavassem até o Xeol, dali minha mão os tirará; e se subissem até o céu, dali os farei descer. (Sheol h7585)
Though they dig into Sheol (Sheol h7585), there my hand will take them; and though they climb up to heaven, there I will bring them down.

He said, "I called because of my affliction to the LORD. He answered me. Out of the belly of Sheol (Sheol h7585) I cried. You heard my voice.
Pois também o vinho é enganador, [é como] um homem arrogante, que não fica quieto em casa; sua avidez se alarga como o Xeol, e se assemelha à morte, que não se farta; e ajunta para si todas as nações, e reúne para si todos os povos. (Sheol h7585)
Yes, moreover, wine is treacherous: an arrogant man who does not stay at home, who enlarges his desire as Sheol (Sheol h7585); he is like death and cannot be satisfied, but gathers to himself all nations and heaps to himself all peoples.
Porém eu vos digo que qualquer um que se irar contra seu irmão será réu do julgamento. E qualquer um que disser a seu irmão: “Idiota!” será réu do tribunal. E qualquer que [lhe] disser: “Louco!” será réu do fogo do inferno. (Geenna g1067)
But I tell you that everyone who is angry with his brother without a cause will be in danger of the judgment. Whoever says to his brother, 'Raca!' will be in danger of the council. Whoever says, 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of Gehenna (Geenna g1067).

If your right eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it away from you. For it is more profitable for you that one of your members should perish than for your whole body to be cast into Gehenna (Geenna g1067).
E se a tua mão direita te faz pecar, corta-a e lança-a de ti; porque é melhor para ti que um dos teus membros se perca do que o teu corpo todo vá ao inferno. (Geenna g1067)
If your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off, and throw it away from you. For it is more profitable for you that one of your members should perish, than for your whole body to be cast into Gehenna (Geenna g1067).
E não temais os que matam o corpo, mas não podem matar a alma; temei mais aquele que pode destruir tanto a alma como o corpo no inferno. (Geenna g1067)
Do not be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna (Geenna g1067).
E tu, Cafarnaum, estarás tu exaltada até o céu? Ao Xeol serás derrubada! Pois se em Sodoma tivessem sido feitos os milagres que foram feitos em ti, ela teria permanecido até hoje. (Hadēs g86)
You, Capernaum, who are exalted to heaven, you will go down to Hades (Hadēs g86). For if the mighty works had been done in Sodom which were done in you, it would have remained until today.
E qualquer um que falar palavra contra o Filho do homem lhe será perdoado; mas qualquer um que falar contra o Espírito Santo, não lhe será perdoado, nem na era presente, nem na futura. (aiōn g165)
Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age (aiōn g165), or in that which is to come.
E o que foi semeado entre os espinhos é o que ouve a palavra, mas a ansiedade com o tempo presente e a sedução das riquezas sufocam a palavra, e fica sem dar fruto. (aiōn g165)
What was sown among the thorns, this is he who hears the word, but the cares of this age (aiōn g165) and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful.
E o inimigo, que o semeou, é o diabo; e a colheita é o fim da era; e os que colhem são os anjos. (aiōn g165)
The enemy who sowed them is the devil. The harvest is the consummation of the age (aiōn g165), and the reapers are angels.
Portanto, como o joio é colhido e queimado no fogo, assim também será no fim da era. (aiōn g165)
As therefore the darnel weeds are gathered up and burned with fire; so will it be at the consummation of this age (aiōn g165).
Assim será ao fim da era; os anjos sairão, e separarão dentre os justos os maus, (aiōn g165)
So it will be in the consummation of the age (aiōn g165). The angels will come and separate the wicked from among the righteous,
E eu também te digo que tu és Pedro, e sobre esta pedra edificarei a minha igreja; e as portas do Xeol não prevalecerão contra ela. (Hadēs g86)
I also tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my assembly, and the gates of Hades (Hadēs g86) will not prevail against it.
Portanto, se a tua mão ou o teu pé te faz pecar, corta-os, e lança-os de ti; melhor te é entrar aleijado ou manco na vida do que, tendo duas mãos ou dois pés, ser lançado no fogo eterno. (aiōnios g166)
If your hand or your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life maimed or crippled, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into the consummate (aiōnios g166) fire.
E se o teu olho te faz pecar, arranca-o, e lança-o de ti. Melhor te é entrar com um olho na vida do que, tendo dois olhos, ser lançado no inferno de fogo. (Geenna g1067)
If your eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into the Gehenna (Geenna g1067) of fire.
E eis que alguém se aproximou-se dele, e perguntou: “Bom Mestre, que bem farei para eu ter a vida eterna?” (aiōnios g166)
Behold, one came to him and said, "Good teacher, what good thing shall I do, that I may have consummate (aiōnios g166) life?"
E qualquer um que houver deixado casas, ou irmãos, ou irmãs, ou pai, ou mãe, ou filhos, ou terras por causa do meu nome, receberá muitas vezes mais, e herdará a vida eterna. (aiōnios g166)
Everyone who has left houses, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, will receive one hundred times, and will inherit consummate (aiōnios g166) life.
Quando ele viu uma figueira perto do caminho, veio a ela, mas nada nela achou, a não ser somente folhas. E disse-lhe: Nunca de ti nasça fruto, jamais! E imediatamente a figueira se secou. (aiōn g165)
Seeing a fig tree by the road, he came to it and found nothing on it but leaves. He said to it, "Let there be no fruit from you for the age (aiōn g165)!" Immediately the fig tree withered away.
Ai de vós, escribas e fariseus, hipócritas! Porque rodeais o mar e a terra para fazerdes um prosélito; e quando é feito, vós o tornais filho do inferno duas vezes mais que a vós. (Geenna g1067)
Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel around by sea and land to make one proselyte; and when he becomes one, you make him twice as much a son of Gehenna (Geenna g1067) as yourselves.
Serpentes, ninhada de víboras! Como escapareis da condenação do inferno? (Geenna g1067)
You serpents, you offspring of vipers, how will you escape the judgment of Gehenna (Geenna g1067)?
E, depois de se assentar no monte das Oliveiras, os discípulos se aproximaram dele reservadamente, perguntando: Dize-nos, quando serão estas coisas, e que sinal haverá da tua vinda, e do fim da era? (aiōn g165)
As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, "Tell us, when will these things be? What is the sign of your coming, and of the consummation of the age (aiōn g165)?"
Então dirá também aos que [estiverem] à esquerda: “Apartai-vos de mim, malditos, ao fogo eterno, preparado para o Diabo e os seus anjos. (aiōnios g166)
Then he will say also to those on the left hand, 'Depart from me, you cursed, into the consummate (aiōnios g166) fire which is prepared for the devil and his angels;
E estes irão ao tormento eterno, porém os justos à vida eterna. (aiōnios g166)
ensinando-lhes a guardar todas as coisas que eu vos tenho mandado. E eis que eu estou convosco todos os dias, até o fim dos tempos. (aiōn g165)
teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the consummation of the age (aiōn g165)." Amen.
mas as preocupações do mundo, a sedução das riquezas, e as cobiças por outras coisas, entram, sufocam a palavra, e ela fica sem gerar fruto. (aiōn g165)

But we speak God's wisdom in a mystery, the wisdom that has been hidden, which God foreordained before the ages (aiōn g165) for our glory,

which none of the rulers of this age (aiōn g165) has known. For had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

Let no one deceive himself. If anyone thinks that he is wise among you in this age (aiōn g165), let him become a fool, that he may become wise.

Now all these things happened to them by way of example, and they were written for our admonition, on whom the ends of the ages (aiōn g165) have come.

that in the ages (aiōn g165) to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus;

and to make all men see what is the administration of the mystery which for ages (aiōn g165) has been hidden in God, who created all things through Jesus Christ,
