Neemias 7
1 Sucedeu, pois, que, quando o muro já havia sido edificado, e já tinha posto as portas, e sido estabelecidos os porteiros, os cantores e os Levitas,
And it came to pass, when the wall was built, and I had set up the doors, and the porters and the singers and the Levites were appointed,
2 Mandei o meu irmão Hanani, e Hananias, chefe do palácio de Jerusalém (porque era um homem fiel e temente a Deus, mais que muitos),
that I gave charge to Ananias my brother, and Ananias the ruler of the palace, over Jerusalem: for he was a true man, and one that feared God beyond many.
3 E disse-lhes: Não se abram as portas de Jerusalém até que o sol aqueça; e enquanto ainda estiverem presentes, fechem as portas, e [as] trancai. E ponham-se guardas dos moradores de Jerusalém, cada um em sua guarda, e cada um diante de sua casa.
And I said to them, The gates of Jerusalem shall not be opened till sunrise; and while they are still watching, let the doors be shut, and bolted; and set watches of them that dwell in Jerusalem, [every] man at his post, and [every] man over against his house.
4 E a cidade era espaçosa e grande, porém pouca gente havia dentro dela, e as casas [ainda] não haviam sido reconstruídas.
Now the city [was] wide and large; and the people [were] few in it, and the houses were not built.
5 Então Deus pôs em meu coração que juntasse os nobres, os oficiais, e o povo, para que fossem registrados pela ordem de suas genealogias; e achei o livro da genealogia dos que haviam subido antes, e achei nele escrito [o seguinte]:
And God put [it] into my heart, and I gathered the nobles, and the rulers, and the people, into companies: and I found a register of the company that came up first, and I found written in it as follows:
6 Estes são os filhos da província que subiram do cativeiro, dos que foram levados por Nabucodonosor, rei de Babilônia, e que voltaram a Jerusalém e a Judá, cada um à sua cidade;
Now these [are] the children of the country, that came up from captivity, of the number which Nabuchodonosor king of Babylon carried away, and they returned to Jerusalem and to Juda, [every] man to his city;
7 Os quais vieram com Zorobabel, Jesua, Neemias, Azarias, Raamias, Naamani, Mardoqueu, Bilsã, Misperete, Bigvai, Neum, Baaná. Este é o número dos homens do povo de Israel:
with Zorobabel, and Jesus, and Neemia, Azaria, and Reelma, Naemani, Mardochaeus, Balsan, Maspharath, Esdra, Boguia, Inaum, Baana, Masphar, men of the people of Israel.
8 Os filhos de Parós, dois mil cento e setenta e dois;
The children of Phoros, two thousand one hundred and seventy-two.
9 Os filhos de Sefatias, trezentos e setenta e dois;
The children of Saphatia, three hundred and seventy-two.
10 Os filhos de Ara, seiscentos e cinquenta e dois;
The children of Era, six hundred and fifty-two.
11 Os filhos de Paate-Moabe, dos filhos de Jesua e de Joabe, dois mil oitocentos e dezoito;
The children of Phaath Moab, with the children of Jesus and Joab, two thousand six hundred and eighteen.
12 Os filhos de Elão, mil duzentos e cinquenta e quatro;
The children of Aelam, a thousand two hundred and fifty-four.
13 Os filhos de Zatu, oitocentos e quarenta e cinco;
The children of Zathuia, eight hundred and forty-five.
14 Os filhos de Zacai, setecentos e sessenta;
The children of Zacchu, seven hundred and sixty.
15 Os filhos de Binui, seiscentos e quarenta e oito;
The children of Banui, six hundred and forty-eight.
16 Os filhos de Bebai, seiscentos e vinte e oito;
The children of Bebi, six hundred and twenty-eight.
17 Os filhos de Azgade, dois mil seiscentos e vinte e dois;
The children of Asgad, two thousand three hundred and twenty-two.
18 Os filhos de Adonicão, seiscentos e sessenta e sete;
The children of Adonicam, six hundred and sixty-seven.
19 Os filhos de Bigvai, dois mil e sessenta e sete;
The children of Bagoi, two thousand and sixty-seven.
20 Os filhos de Adim, seiscentos e cinquenta e cinco;
The children of Edin, six hundred and fifty-five.
21 Os filhos de Ater, de Ezequias, noventa e oito;
The children of Ater, [the son] of Ezekias, ninety-eight.
22 Os filhos de Hasum, trezentos e vinte e oito;
The children of Esam, three hundred and twenty-eight.
23 Os filhos de Bezai, trezentos e vinte e quatro;
The children of Besei, three hundred and twenty-four.
24 Os filhos de Harife, cento e doze;
The children of Ariph, a hundred and twelve: the children of Asen, two hundred and twenty-three.
25 Os filhos de Gibeom, noventa e cinco;
The children of Gabaon, ninety-five.
26 Os homens de Belém e de Netofá, cento e oitenta e oito;
The children of Baethalem, a hundred and twenty-three: the children of Atopha, fifty-six.
27 Os homens de Anatote, cento e vinte e oito;
The children of Anathoth, a hundred and twenty-eight.
28 Os homens de Bete-Azmavete, quarenta e dois;
The men of Bethasmoth, forty-two.
29 Os homens de Quiriate-Jearim, Cefira e Beerote, setecentos e quarenta e três;
The men of Cariatharim, Caphira, and Beroth, seven hundred and forty-three.
30 Os homens de Ramá e de Geba, seiscentos e vinte e um;
The men of Arama and Gabaa, six hundred and twenty.
31 Os homens de Micmás, cento e vinte e dois;
The men of Machemas, a hundred and twenty-two.
32 Os homens de Betel e de Ai, cento e vinte e três;
The men of Baethel and Ai, a hundred and twenty-three.
33 Os homens da outra Nebo, cinquenta e dois;
The men of Nabia, a hundred an fifty-two.
34 Os filhos do outro Elão, mil duzentos e cinquenta e quatro;
The men of Elamaar, one thousand two hundred and fifty-two.
35 Os filhos de Harim, trezentos e vinte;
The children of Eram, three hundred and twenty.
36 Os filhos de Jericó, trezentos e quarenta e cinco;
The children of Jericho, three hundred and forty-five.
37 Os filhos de Lode, de Hadide, e Ono, setecentos vinte e um;
The children of Lodadid and Ono, seven hundred and twenty-one.
38 Os filhos de Senaá, três mil novecentos e trinta.
The children of Sanana, three thousand nine hundred and thirty.
39 Os sacerdotes: os filhos de Jedaías, da casa de Jesua, novecentos e setenta e três;
The priests; the sons of Jodae, [pertaining] to the house of Jesus, nine hundred and seventy-three.
40 Os filhos de Imer, mil e cinquenta e dois;
The children of Emmer, one thousand and fifty-two.
41 Os filhos de Pasur, mil duzentos quarenta e sete;
The children of Phaseur, one thousand two hundred and forty-seven.
42 Os filhos de Harim, mil dez e sete.
The children of Eram, a thousand and seventeen.
43 Os levitas: os filhos de Jesua, de Cadmiel, dos filhos de Hodeva, setenta e quatro.
The Levites; the children of Jesus the son of Cadmiel, with the children of Uduia, seventy-four.
44 Os cantores: os filhos de Asafe, cento e quarenta e oito.
The singers; the children of Asaph, a hundred and forty-eight.
45 Os porteiros: os filhos de Salum, os filhos de Ater, os filhos de Talmom, os filhos de Acube, os filhos de Hatita, os filhos de Sobai, cento e trinta e oito.
The porters; the children of Salum, the children of Ater, the children of Telmon, the children of Acub, the children of Atita, the children of Sabi, a hundred and thirty-eight.
46 Os servos do templo: os filhos de Zia, os filhos de Hasufa, os filhos de Tabaote,
The Nathinim; the children of Sea, the children of Aspha, the children of Tabaoth,
47 Os filhos de Queros, os filhos de Sia, os filhos de Padom,
the children of Kiras, the children of Asuia, the children of Phadon,
48 Os filhos de Lebana, os filhos de Hagaba, os filhos de Salmai,
the children of Labana, the children of Agaba, the children of Selmei,
49 Os filhos de Hanã, os filhos de Gidel, os filhos de Gaar,
the children of Anan, the children of Gadel, the children of Gaar,
50 Os filhos de Reaías, os filhos de Rezim, os filhos de Necoda,
the children of Raaia, the children of Rasson, the children of Necoda,
51 Os filhos de Gazão, os filhos de Uzá, os filhos de Paseia,
the children of Gezam, the children of Ozi, the children of Phese,
52 Os filhos de Besai, os filhos de Meunim, os filhos de Nefusesim,
the children of Besi, the children of Meinon, the children of Nephosasi,
53 Os filhos de Baquebuque, os filhos de Hacufa, os filhos de Harur,
the children of Bacbuc, the children of Achipha, the children of Arur,
54 Os filhos de Baslite, os filhos de Meída, os filhos de Harsa,
the children of Basaloth, the children of Mida, the children of Adasan,
55 Os filhos de Barcos, os filhos de Sísera, os filhos de Tamá,
the children of Barcue, the children of Sisarath, the children of Thema,
56 Os filhos de Nesias, os filhos de Hatifa.
the children of Nisia, the children of Atipha.
57 Os filhos dos servos de Salomão: os filhos de Sotai, os filhos de Soferete, os filhos de Perida,
The children of the servants of Solomon; the children of Sutei, the children of Sapharat, the children of Pherida,
58 Os filhos de Jaala, os filhos de Darcom, os filhos de Gidel,
the children of Jelel, the children of Dorcon, the children of Gadael,
59 Os filhos de Sefatias, os filhos de Hatil, os filhos de Poquerete-Hazebaim, os filhos de Amom.
the children of Saphatia, the children of Ettel, the children of Phacarath, the children of Sabaim, the children of Emim.
60 Todos os servos do templo, e filhos dos servos de Salomão, trezentos e noventa e dois.
All the Nathinim, and children of the servants of Solomon, [were] three hundred and ninety-two.
61 Também estes subiram de Tel-Melá, Tel-Harsa, Querube, Adom, e Imer, porém não puderam mostrar a casa de seus pais, nem sua linhagem, se eram de Israel:
And these went up from Thelmeleth, Thelaresa, Charub, Eron, Jemer: but they could not declare the houses of their families, or their seed, whether they were of Israel.
62 Os filhos de Delaías, os filhos de Tobias, os filhos de Necoda, seiscentos e quarenta e dois.
The children of Dalaia, the children of Tobia, the children of Necoda, six hundred and forty-two.
63 E dos sacerdotes: os filhos de Habaías, os filhos de Coz, os filhos de Barzilai, o qual tomara mulher das filhas de Barzilai, o gileadita, e chamou-se pelo nome delas.
And of the priests; the children of Ebia, the children of Acos, the children of Berzelli, for they took wives of the daughters of Berzelli the Galaadite, and they were called by their name.
64 Estes buscaram seu registro de genealogias, porém não se achou; por isso, como impuros, foram excluídos do sacerdócio.
These sought the pedigree of their company, and it was not found, and they were removed [as polluted] from the priesthood.
65 E o governador lhes disse que não comessem das coisas mais santas, até que houvesse sacerdote com Urim e Tumim.
And the Athersastha said, that they should not eat of the most holy things, until a priest should stand up to give light.
66 Toda esta congregação junta era quarenta e dois mil trezentos e sessenta,
And all the congregation was about forty-two thousand three hundred and sixty,
67 Exceto seus servos e suas servas, que eram sete mil trezentos e trinta e sete; e tinham duzentos e quarenta e cinco cantores e cantoras.
besides their menservants and their maidservants: these were seven thousand three hundred and thirty seven: and the singing-men and singing-women, two hundred and forty-five.
68 Seus cavalos, setecentos e trinta e seis; seus mulos, duzentos e quarenta e cinco;
69 Os camelos, quatrocentos e trinta e cinco; asnos, seis mil setecentos e vinte.
Two thousand seven hundred asses.
70 E alguns dos chefes das famílias fizeram doações para a obra. O governador deu para o tesouro mil dracmas de ouro, cinquenta bacias, e quinhentas trinta vestes sacerdotais.
And part of the heads of families gave into the treasury to Neemias for the work a thousand pieces of gold, fifty bowls, and thirty priests' [garments].
71 E [alguns] dos chefes das famílias deram para o tesouro da obra, vinte mil dracmas de ouro, e duas mil e duzentas libras de prata.
And [some] of the heads of families gave into the treasuries of the work, twenty thousand pieces of gold, and two thousand three hundred pounds of silver.
72 E o que o resto do povo deu foi vinte mil dracmas de ouro, duas mil libras de prata, e sessenta e sete vestes sacerdotais.
And the rest of the people gave twenty thousand pieces of gold, and two thousand two hundred pounds of silver, and sixty-seven priests' [garments].
73 E os sacerdotes, os Levitas, e os porteiros, os cantores, os do povo, os servos do templo, e todo Israel, habitaram em suas cidades. E vindo o mês sétimo, estando os filhos de Israel em suas cidades,
And the priests, and Levites, and porters, and singers, and [some] of the people, and the Nathinim, and all Israel, lived in their cities.
