Naum 1

1 Revelação sobre Nínive. Livro da visão de Naum o elcosita.

[the] oracle of Nineveh [the] document of [the] vision of Nahum the Elkoshite.

2 O SENHOR é Deus zeloso e vingador; o SENHOR é vingador e furioso; o SENHOR se vinga de seus adversários, e que guarda [ira] contra seus inimigos.

[is] a God Jealous and avenging Yahweh [is] avenging Yahweh and a lord of rage [is] avenging Yahweh to opponents his and [is] maintaining he to enemies his.

3 O SENHOR é tardio para se irar, porém grande em poder; e não terá [ao culpado] por inocente. O SENHOR caminha entre a tempestade e o turbilhão, e as nuvens são o pó de seus pés.

Yahweh [is] long of anger (and great of *Q(K)*) power and certainly not he will leave unpunished Yahweh [is] in storm-wind and in storm way his and [is] cloud [the] dust of feet his.

4 Ele repreende o mar, e o faz secar; e deixa secos todos os rios. Basã e o Carmelo se definham, e a flor do Líbano murcha.

[he is] rebuking the Sea and he made dry it and all the rivers he dries up it withers Bashan and Carmel and [the] blossom of Lebanon it withers.

5 Os montes tremem diante dele, e os morros se derretem; e a terra se abala em sua presença, e o mundo, e todos os que nele habitam.

Mountains they quake from him and the hills they melt and it lifted up the earth from before him and [the] world and all [those who] dwell in it.

6 Quem pode subsistir diante de seu furor? E quem pode persistir diante do ardor de sua ira? Seu furor se derrama como fogo, e as rochas se partem diante dele.

Before indignation his who? will he stand and who? will he endure at [the] burning of anger his rage his it is poured out like fire and the rocks they are pulled down from him.

7 O SENHOR é bom, é fortaleza no dia da angústia; ele conhece os que nele confiam.

[is] good Yahweh a refuge in a day of trouble and [he is] knowing [those who] take refuge in him.

8 Mas com inundação impetuosa ele acabará com Nínive, e perseguirá seus inimigos até às trevas.

And with a flood [which] passes over complete destruction he will make place its and enemies his he will pursue darkness.

9 O que vós tramais contra o SENHOR, ele mesmo destruirá; a angústia não se levantará duas vezes.

Whatever you will plot! against Yahweh complete destruction he [will be] making not it will arise two times trouble.

10 Mesmo estando entretecidos como espinhos, e embriagados como beberrões, eles serão consumidos como a palha seca.

For to thorns interwoven and like drink their drunkards they will be consumed like stubble dry full.

11 De ti saiu um que trama o mal contra o SENHOR, um conselheiro maligno.

From you he has come out [one who] plots on Yahweh evil a counselor of worthlessness.

12 Assim diz o SENHOR: Ainda que sejam prósperos, e muitos em número, mesmo assim eles serão exterminados, e passarão. Eu te afligi, [Judá], porém não te afligirei mais.

Thus - he says Yahweh though complete and thus numerous and thus they will be cut down and he will pass away and I have afflicted you not I will afflict you again.

13 Mas agora quebrarei seu jugo de sobre ti, e romperei tuas amarras.

And now I will break yoke-bar his from on you and fetters your I will tear apart.

14 Porém contra ti, [assírio], o SENHOR mandou que nunca mais seja gerado alguém de teu nome; da casa de teu deus arrancarei as imagens de escultura e de fundição. Farei para ti um sepulcro, porque tu és desprezível.

And he has commanded on you Yahweh not it will be sown from name your again from [the] house of gods your I will cut off idol and molten image I will make grave your for you are insignificant.

15 Eis que sobre os montes estão os pés daquele que anuncia boas novas, do que faz ouvir a paz. Celebra tuas festas, Judá; cumpre os teus votos, porque nunca mais o maligno passará por ti; ele foi exterminado por completo.
