Miquéias 1
1 Palavra do SENHOR que veio a Miqueias, o morastita, nos dias de Jotão, Acaz, [e] Ezequias, reis de Judá; que ele viu sobre Samaria e Jerusalém.
The word of Jehovah that came to Micah the Morashtite in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem.
2 Ouvi vós todos os povos; presta atenção tu, ó terra, e tudo o que nela há; pois o Senhor DEUS será testemunha contra vós, o Senhor desde seu santo templo.
Hear, ye peoples, all of you. Hearken, O earth, and all who are in it, and let the Lord Jehovah be witness against you, the Lord from his holy temple.
3 Porque eis que SENHOR está saindo de seu lugar, e descerá, e pisará os lugares altos da terra.
For, behold, Jehovah comes forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth.
4 E os montes debaixo dele se derreterão, e os vales se fenderão como a cera diante do fogo, como as águas se derramam por um precipício.
And the mountains shall be melted under him, and the valleys shall be split, as wax before the fire, as waters that are poured down a steep place.
5 Tudo isto é por causa da transgressão de Jacó e dos pecados da casa de Israel. Qual é a transgressão de Jacó? Não é Samaria? E quais são os altos de Judá? Não é Jerusalém?
All this is for the transgression of Jacob, and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the transgression of Jacob? Is it not Samaria? And what are the high places of Judah? Are they not Jerusalem?
6 Por isso tornarei a Samaria em amontoado de pedras no campo, em plantação de vinhas; e derrubarei suas pedras no vale, e descobrirei seus fundamentos.
Therefore I will make Samaria as a heap of the field, and as places for planting vineyards. And I will pour down the stones of it into the valley, and I will uncover the foundations of it.
7 E todas suas imagens de escultura serão esmigalhadas, e todos seus salários de prostituta serão queimados com fogo, e destruirei todos os seus ídolos; porque do salário de prostituta os ajuntou, e para salário de prostituta voltarão.
And all her graven images shall be beaten to pieces. And all her wages shall be burned with fire, and I will lay desolate all her idols. For she has gathered them from the wages of a harlot, and to the wage of a harlot they shall return.
8 Portanto lamentarei e uivarei, e andarei descalço e nu; farei uivos como de chacais, e lamentos como de filhotes de avestruzes.
For this I will lament and wail. I will go stripped and naked. I will make a wailing like the jackals, and a lamentation like the ostriches.
9 Porque suas feridas são incuráveis, que já chegaram até Judá; [isto] já chegou até a porta do meu povo, até Jerusalém.
For her wounds are incurable. For it has come even to Judah. it reaches to the gate of my people, even to Jerusalem.
10 Não anunciai [isto] em Gate, nem choreis tanto; revolve-te no pó em Bete-Le-Afra.
Tell it not in Gath. Weep not at all. I have rolled myself in the dust at Beth-le-aphrah.
11 Passa-te com vergonha descoberta, ó moradora de Safir; a moradora de Zaanã não sai; pranto há em Bete-Ezel; seu apoio foi tomado de vós.
Pass away, O inhabitant of Shaphir, in nakedness and shame. The inhabitant of Zaanan has not come forth. The wailing of Beth-ezel shall take from you the stay of it.
12 Porque a moradora de Marote anseiam à espera do bem; pois um mal desceu do SENHOR até a porta de Jerusalém.
For the inhabitant of Maroth waits anxiously for good, because evil has come down from Jehovah to the gate of Jerusalem.
13 Liga os cavalos à carruagem, ó moradora de Laquis (ela é o princípio do pecado à filha de Sião), porque em ti foram achadas as transgressões de Israel.
Bind the chariot to the swift steed, O inhabitant of Lachish. She was the beginning of sin to the daughter of Zion, for the transgressions of Israel were found in thee.
14 Portanto, tu darás presentes de despedida a Moresete-Gate; as casas de Aczibe serão enganosas aos reis de Israel.
Therefore thou shall give a parting gift to Moresheth-gath. The houses of Achzib shall be a deceitful thing to the kings of Israel.
15 Ainda trarei a ti um conquistador, ó moradora de Maressa; a glória de Israel virá até Adulão.
I will yet bring to thee, O inhabitant of Mareshah, him who shall possess thee. The glory of Israel shall come even to Adullam.
16 Faz em ti calva, e rapa-te por causa dos filhos a quem gostavas; aumenta tua calva como a águia; porque foram levados de ti em cativeiro.
Make thee bald, and cut off thy hair for the sons of thy delight. Enlarge thy baldness as the vulture, for they have gone into captivity from thee.
